I order 3 items

I order 3 items. one of them was a size large bathrobe. it was £35 and it did not fit at all around the chest. I am a 36g and this would only fit someone small. I wore it upstairs then went downstairs in it to find the packaging then folded it and sent it back promptly . However on arrival back at homecolours I was then told as there was a tiny mark on the cuff and that I would not get a refund. Albeit they sent the robe back to me free of charge. When the robe arrived back at mine this tiny mark was so insignificant and came off easily with a dab (not even a rub) of a damp cloth and now there is no way anyone could see a trace what so ever. I am really disappointed as this was not a cheap robe and i feel tat this 'mark' could easily have been removed . it was smaller than the size of half a pinky fingernail and is now not at all visible . also found the packaging

Dear Tania

Many thanks for taking the time to review us. We have now had a chance to look into your complaint. You contacted us on 16th September to say you wanted to return the bathrobe however your sister had disposed of the packaging, so could you still return, which we agreed to. However when the bathrobe arrived back it had spill marks on the bottom front of the robe and also on one sleeve. Whilst we agree that these were small spill marks, having inspected closely our QC team made the decision that we could not reasonably re-sell as new. We contacted you with images of the spill marks and you confirmed the robe had been hung over a bannister for the weekend, so presume this must have been how the marks happened. We are really sorry you were disappointed with our decision however I'm sure you will understand that most customers would not wish to receive soiled items (even if only minor soil marks) sold as brand new and we do try to make it clear in our terms that items returned for a refund must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were received in, with tags and packaging intact.

Kind regards
Customer Team
