Recommended this company to an elderly customer of mine who had no satellite signal to her sky box, engineer came and said needed new sky dish which he installed,spent 4 hours there and failed to fix the issue then charged her £400.New sky dish was not required!Do Not recommend this company to anyone,get someone local not a national company that over charge and don't even fix the issue!!

Engineer arrived later than expected. Tv signal keeps failing, so engineer did a retune to a different region, and left. Then I got the Bill, £78 for something I could have done myself, and more of a surprise the problem still exists so £78 spent on nothing.
I only used this Company as they sounded quite thorough and confident and pitched a good policy. They also stated a price would be quoted before any work proceeded, which never happened. Shame I never read any of the reviews. I feel totally ripped of, I notified them that the engineers visit had achieved nothing, to be told that the work done isn’t covered by any warranty and I would be charged another fee. Yer right, I think I’ll cut my loses rather than deal with this company again.

Rang yesterday morning & confirmed someone would attend same day to repair TV socket. Called at 4pm to check someone was attending, person stated they were definitely coming and would ring me. No show. Received a phone call today at lunchtime to arrange the appointment, I said it was booked for yesterday, she said it was booked for today. Told her I had gone elsewhere. No apology, completely disinterested. I should have listened to other negative reviews. Would not recommend to anyone.

I booked on Wednesday for two TV wall mountings for the following day, Thursday, however they rang me 3.30pm on Thursday to say they wouldn’t be able to make it but promised for Friday. 1pm Friday I phoned them just out of curiosity and was told they wouldn’t be able to make it, but gave me a guaranteed slot of 8am-9am on the Saturday. Engineer phoned at 9.10am to say he would be arriving at 10am! I needed to leave home for another appointment at 11am!

Why advertise same day or 24hr appointments or guaranteed time slots if it is not achievable? A complete waste of two day of my precious annual leave.

Engineer attending lovely guy. Only took minutes to identify problem and fix replacement part. Then the bill!!! Extortionate cost even with discount for being over 65.
Can’t recommend this company purely because I feel ripped off.

Jake E9321, Came on time and quickly fitted an amplifier to the aerial. This has fixed our signal problem and stopped the HD channels pixelating.
He demonstrated the increase in dB on his fancy meter.

Watch this space. Again the TV aerial appears to have a fault.
We called the help desk, arranged an appointment for Monday.
And true to form, they canc
el it and want to re book for Tuesday.
They were advised that this change is not acceptable as they repeatedly do this and never keep the booking as agreed.
I sent an email to Steve as he had advised.
His first reply was I have forwarded your email to the technical team.
I send him another over the cancelled visit, funny old thing within 4hrs he no longer works for them.
Clearly not the best company will now look at getting in another company to take out HDS kit and have another company replace the whole system.

I was given notice of Jake’s name and arrival. He listened to our problem, did tests to eliminate possibilities and eventually tired a solution which is currently working great. He reassured us that if we continue to have problems we can seek further help. A first class service from a professional who was also friendly, kind and considerate.

Made an appointment online for Saturday, called them an hour later as i hadn't received confirmation and was told the appointment had been made and the engineer would call me an hour before. No call came nor any engineer. Total waste of time .

Jake arrived as promised and on time.
Quick, knowledgeable and efficient, he sorted out our Tv signal problem all most immediately and got us back 'on line', very reasonably priced.
Totally recommend HDS.

When I contacted HDS Home Digital Services this was the 1st time I had used them. A very nicely spoken lady took my details and the problem i was experiencing with my tv and assured my that Carl will be with me within half an hour. And he arrived on time and what a nice young very pleasant man. He was very polite and courteous and knowledgeable and managed to sort out the problem I was having within the time he was here with me. So thank you again Carl for excellent service and making the experience a pleasant one.

Sadly unable to do my aerial due to being a mid terrace and a palm tree in the front garden unable to get ladders around from his initial look due to company regulations and a loft window. He recommended another company who would probably do it but their response was if these couldn’t do the work they would be unable to. Told his office also unable to go back way to get to the roof yet he never even went back way to look all this took less then five minutes and started looking at the roof before even knocking on the front door. .

£180 + VAT to run 15 metres of coax, same cable costs you £20 from screwfix (and you'd get 7 metres spare from screwfix). Neat job on cleating the cable to the wall, doubt I'd reach out for their services again.

Three booked appointments cancelled without informing us! Guaranteed a third appointment then again cancelled! Really bad service who promised and don’t deliver. Three lots of time off taken for nothing!

Mum's TV suddenly lost signal during the morning and to cut a long story short I found this company online and booked a timeslot. They contacted us promptly with a timeframe of when an engineer would arrive. He was here within a couple of hours, lovely chap Alan who was very friendly, funny and helpful, explaining what the issue was, arranging a quote and checking mum was happy with the price before completing the work quickly and efficiently. Mum was very happy she had her TV back working before the evening soaps!
