The team did an excellent job in the attic for the insulation. They were kind enough to remove all the trash. Also it was a very quick and clean job.

Crew was fantastic. Would use these guys for anything regarding house needs best in the biz.

Overall would need to break this down into three aspects to why I rated it a 4. First 5 stars to both Sales and Project Manager of my project. They were both outstanding. Nick, the PM, and I got off to a rough start but as time went on I got to truly appreciated the work he was doing to bring this completion to both our satisfaction. For these two, definitely 5 stars.

Installation workers, it was the little things that I could not give 5 stars to. To explain briefly first day they were there at 7 in morning till 9 at night. They were able to strip off the old siding and install new in that time. Although there were some issues that day I did not like main concern was the attic vents. Wrong ones were ordered but the old one on the one side was broken off. Instead of saying anything had to find out on my own and trying to get them to come out and cover the open area proved challenging. With it being open anything could have flown in and it rain seemingly everyday. Once the new vents came in, again, scheduling was a minor issue and when they came they really butchered the install. Nick agreed with me and removed them from finishing project. The crew he brought in were outstanding in not only pulling the vents off, cleaning up the mess and installing them correctly. They were outstanding. But due to issue with first crew can not honestly rate them 5 stars, no matter how good the second crew was.

Real question - would I recommend them. Yes. Overall the work was good, quality. But little issues really bogged this down. Will not go into detail on other "issues" but attic vents swayed me to give an overall rating of 4.

I Highly recommend Home Genius! All staff from sales to the crew were professional, honest and friendly! Money well spent, we love our siding!

Excellent job best ever. My new roof and gutters look incredible. Process to get to this point was easy. The projects were smooth sailing and they finished quick. Taylor came by to try and trim some tree limbs as well! No company better.

Pakos crew was courteous, friendly and professional. They arrived on time and installed all 6 of my windows in less than 3 hours from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will be calling them back in the future to complete the remainder of my windows!

Home Genius Exteriors provided for me a very terrible experience for me. My son who had received an offer to work for Home Genius Exteriors to work in sales at the end of May 2025 for the summer, his start date was June 10th, then it was changed to start June 24 then changed to start July 8th. My son ignorantly took this at face value and did not know why this was happening. My son is a Senior at a NJ State University majoring in Economic pursuing his BA in 2026, my son is young and trusting. Based on their actions I assess this company as unethical to do what they did. How could a company do this to a student who wanted to work over the summer to earn money and to gain some experience? I will never encourage anyone to do business with Home Genius Exteriors.

Sales gentleman that came to home pushed the company making the transition to a new roof so easy with so many other promises, not at all. First started got told don't need a permit which they did not look into correctly, definitely needed one so that was the first hold up. Then the company they dealt with came unannounced to drop off everything, then same day the huge dumpster came that was to be placed in my driveway could not fit, so that driver drove away. Contacted the person that was to be in charge or coordinating everything who was also neglect on proper procedures for permit. The day finally came to get the new roof and 4 man crew came and only 1 boss did not show up for an hour and 15 minutes later and no translator for the crew. The crew did not follow instructions, boss had to call someone to call 1 of the men to translate but they still were defiant. The boss did not even stay for the entire job he left about 5 hours earlier than the finishing up of the job. Another dumpster came which was the same one that still did not fit in driveway, they made arrangements for a quick load at a certain time which was after the boss was long gone and the crew just ignored. I ended up dealing with the police, zoning and code enforcement since the truck was illegally parked. I had a phone call from the company trying to tell me that I needed to replace my rear fascia and the $$$$ was just crazy. I am not going to say anymore, I just hope everyone reads this on how terrible and bad promises were all broken and tries to push you threatening your warranty if you don't, when the fascia has nothing to do with the roof itself. I definitely do not recommend this company and its employees bottom line.

Home genius was great. Gutter guys were fast, friendly and efficient.

Home Genius made our experience memorable from the beginning to the end. Starting with Vince, the sales representative, He was charismatic and very honest, we didn't feel the pressure, and he had the opportunity to upsell ( I kept my eyes on the concrete siding). He gave his honest opinion. The project coordinator was on point as well. The product arrived in a few days at our driveway, and they started the very next day at 8 am. Ian, the project manager, is the nicest guy ever. He was always available to answer any question. The crew was courteous and fast. They started on a Thursday, by Friday, they were 97% done, they attempted to finish on Saturday, but one of the guys got sick, totally understandable, but Monday AM, they were ready and finished by 2 pm. Ian stopped by days later to check for nails or anything that was left behind. They even installed light fixtures for us. I must say we are only receiving compliments for the aesthetics of the house now. If I have to find something I didn't like was that, like in every war, there are casualties; my rose bushes paid the price, lol. I think they were stepped on or something was put on top, but I understand they were in the way, and they would grow back soon. I totally recommend this company.

My wife and I are pleased with our experience with all those involved in this major project on our house! Our initial evaluatory visit with Nicole was a pleasure! She performed a thorough evaluation of our roofing needs and gave a clear explanation of what needed to be done, the anticipated costs, and financing available. She followed up with us as a friend, helping us deal with this major undertaking. A new, beautiful, top-quality roof was up two days later! Capping and soffit repair and replacement were much more involved, requiring a few days' work, but left our house looking great! Both parts of this home exterior repair were well explained and managed by Brandon, the project manager, Marvin, who supervised and assisted with the reroofing project, and Danny, who managed the capping project, which involved the erection of scaffolds. On day one, Marvin visited with our neighbors, explained the work they would be performing on our house, and eased any concerns they had about how their work might impinge on their property or activities. Danny reiterated that reassurance with our neighbors when they erected scaffolds to perform the capping and soffit replacements. All work was done with care and thorough professionalism, exceeding my expectations for what they would do. Brandon was over the top in responding immediately to our requests for extra work beyond our original contract, and all was done beautifully! I highly recommend Home Genius Exteriors to anyone wishing for top-quality work on the exterior of their home!
