Terrible experience - incorrect listing and ignored refund request
I ordered a king size mattress, but a double mattress turned up. I contacted them asking if they could sort it out. Heard nothing for a week. I then said I would need to dispose of the mattress if they didn't get back to me as I don't have space to store it. They were then magically able to reply in order to arrange collection, only to then stop being contactable after collection. Still no sign of a refund a week after the mattress was collected (and several weeks after this whole escapade started). I've had to do a charge back through my bank, as they refuse to reply to anything. Terrible customer service, and lack of respect for customers time and money. Definitely would not recommend.

I ordered a chest of drawers, 57kg apparently. The delivery company would not deliver to my 3rd floor apartment, only letting me know once they were outside my door. So they had to take it back. For over 3 weeks I have not been able to get in contact with Home Living Warehouse about reliever or a refund. What is this disaster of a company doing ? I wonder if they’ll respond to this.
Item great; delivery not so great
No complaints at all on the item or service from Home Living Warehouse - the item was exactly as described and the minor scuffs vs a pristine item were just that - very minor.
Sadly their delivery Partner is fully to blame for the loss of one star. They flatly refused to take the item to a first floor room, something that Home Living Warehouse make clear is standard as part of the delivery. In this instance I was, with help, able to get the item upstairs, but had I not been able to arrange help then it would still be sat in the hallway - not ideal, especially for a mattress

Spoke to Home Living directly as I was initially hesitant to buy a piece of John Lewis furniture online - item was described as Grade B with minor flaws. They took me through their grading system as well as how courier would work - everything was exactly as they said. Delighted with furniture - the minor flaws were minuscule and impossible to tell unless you knew exactly what and where they were. Couriers were very professional and courteous. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend to others.

Initially, I had seen the chair in a John Lewis store, and decided I would purchase it shortly, before finding it at a much better price on the Home Living website.

I RECEIVED A USED ,DAMAGED BED WITH LOTS OF PARTS MISSING !

I purchased a new bed frame from this company , firstly there were problems with delivery and their bad communications between them and their delivery guys , so the day I took off for delivery was a total waste of my time .
When the delivery finally arrived , the boxes were very badly damaged and very badly repackaged , I immediately contacted the company who instantly told me not to worry and the contents were fully checked , I naïvely trusted this and accepted the delivery ….
When I opened the boxes it became clear the item had light use .
The centre bar was bent in two places .
Brackets for holding the slats were missing and two slats and various screw and fixings were missing .
I have tried to communicate with the seller , who has little interest in putting this right and has also continued to insist the bed I have had delivered is new . I asked if they could supply the missing parts to which there has been no response .

I have no trust in this seller
My experience was quite simply bad. I received two dining chairs and one had a small area of damage and t the seller indicated that te product was not damaged when sent to me, implying tat I caused the damage. Phone calls and email to try to resolve this were acrimonious and not resolved satisfactorily.
As I had bought two identical chairs on line directly from John Lewis it was clear to me that the two chairs delivered by home living warehouse were in identical packaging i.e. my view is that the chairs were kept in their original John Lewis packaging and home living warehouse would not know about any damage.
Home living warehouse wanted me to return both chairs and give me a refund, I wanted to return one, with a replacement and keep the other one. Home living warehouse indicated the chairs came in pairs and did not even have a replacement pair, but I saw them advertising the identical pair on eBay soon afterwards.
I find it hard to believe that on eBay they have a 100% positive reviews as that is not what I gave them!

Really friendly team, we love our sofa and they were so helpful in even bringing it up for the flat for us. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back when we need another sofa :)
