Excellent quality product
Excellent quality product. Delivery less than smooth.
Item supplied promptly and works great.
Is this drop shipping ?
Was searching for cheese making supplies and found this site. Compare to what I know, this prices are nuts, roughly 2 to 3 times the normal price of those supplies

Awful customer experience
I ordered some bathroom fixtures from this company in December 23. They appeared to be a UK company.
On arrival the box and the contents were damaged. They appeared to be seconds as the package was already covered in brown tape and wasn’t even properly secure.
It took us months to get a resolution first being offered a percentage refund rather than the full refund as requested. Eventually we received a full refund in February. During this process they said refunds would have to be sent to the US not UK which is where I believed to be purchasing my goods from and therefore would be able to return to a UK address.
Also, now is I am getting daily scam emails entitled order confirmation, your purchase and thank you for your order which contains my original order number, my address and like to track my package. It would seem my data has been leaked / sold on from homeloft.

If I could write Zero, I would
This company purports to be in Australia. They have an Australian address in Sydney and an Australian Mobile. They do not respond to mobile messages. They do not respond to emails and at least one of their email addresses is a fraud (does not exist). I have screenshot all my contacts and can show they showed I was paying in Australian dollars. At no time and in no place did they say there was any international connection. Hence, when I saw a foreign transaction fee from the bank for the payment, alarm bells rang. Due to their lack of transparency and the exacting nature of payment on the website, they are definitely fraudulent and I will be reporting to my Bank, and Consumer & Business Affairs. Despite numerous requests, no one from the company has made contact and after 9 days, I have received no tracking information, hence the item has not even been sent! Unless they refund the foreign transaction fee and send my item promptly, I have no alternative but to warn other prospective purchasers that this company and their ‘parent’ Handelnine, is a total SCAM!
Update July 17th. My item eventually did arrive after writing these reviews and a myriad of email communications and a huge amount of stress. But I now need to add that I have had to cancel my credit card due to my personal information, including this order number, being shared with scammers. I am repeatedly receiving massages from assorted non reputable people and in contacting HomeLoft, was told these were not from them and to delete them immediately. At no time did they take responsibility for the release of my data, including the order number and my details!!!! - no apology and no recourse!!! I am more than disgusted and recommend no other people purchase unless you want the issue of having to change cards and are prepared to receive ongoing fraudulent messages from data they’ve released to scammers.

AVOID
I too ordered an electrical item , uk site, no mention of convertor needed. Luckily I ordered through Amazon who stepped in and refunded me when I complained to them. Now I get daily reports of an item ( not ordered ) on it's way, 'click here' where no doubt the request for postage or import will be. I have put today's date but this has been happening for about 3 months now.
Have now received request for more details - order was for Zojirushi BB-CEC20. 1st of numerous 'tickets' opened ( due to lack of response from Homeloft opened about 10 complaints before Amazon stepped in ), was 1362163. Due to Homeloft's lack of security I am not prepared to give my full name or any more details here. If Trustpilot want to verify me they are welcome to message me privately.
Just had yet another email requesting I supply more details and I state again that due to Homeloft's lack of security I am only prepared to verify details with Trustpilot privately if they wish to PM me

UPDATE - Since posting this review the emails from Homeloft requesting I click here so I can pay them more money have increased. Now receiving 4+ emails per day. Is this a coincidence ?
UPDATE - Homeloft are still not reading emails, if they had they would have read here that I am not prepared to give any more details as I don't trust them with the information - if Trustpilot want verification they can email me
UPDATE - Yet another reply that proves they are not even reading the complaint - I have not claimed that these emails are from Homeloft - it is Homeloft's lack of security that is the worry, I have neve received such detailed phishing emails after dealing with any other internet company. Is it lack of security or worse ?

My purchase went very smoothly
My purchase went very smoothly, though it took a while to arrive and was quite expensive.
The main downside was that I started receiving daily spam texts supposedly from Homeloft asking for a small Import Tax before item could be delivered. Homeloft confirmed not from them, but continued for 10 days or so. Must be a problem with their IT security as this continued daily from slightly different email addresses for some 10 days.
They are openly leaking customer data to scammers, do not use!
I ordered an item from homeloft UK, assuming it would come from the UK but this is now coming from the USA.
The disturbing part is that I got two bogus emails claiming to be from homeloft and using DHL branding after I ordered. These did not have the right mail or Web domain but they were asking me to cover import charges.
This means, that when I ordered, my details were quickly stolen or leaked from HomeLoft allowing scammers to specifically target me with a scam.
I reported this to them in a support ticket and tried to tell them how bad this is but they were unconcerned and have no plans to investigate or remediate.
-Update: Please discount the reply from HomeLoft below, the scam email did not come from HomeLoft but the data was leaked by HomeLoft to the scammer who attempted to scam me. I received an email from the HomeLoft support team (who seem to have suddenly perked up) and this is an extract from the email from HomeLoft:
"From our preliminary investigation, it seems that there was a data leak / breach from one of our third party service providers, most likely from one of our delivery partners. "
So, while technically true that the email did not come directly from HomeLoft, the data was leaked by HomeLoft to a scammer/group of scammers who then targeted me.
They admitted to a data leak but still don't know where the leak is which is deeply concerning.
Update 2 - The package was sent by DHL so the only way this informaiton could have leaked is internally via HomeLoft. The scammers now have my full name, full address and email address and I am still being targeted.
Update 3 - I'm still being actively targeted by scammers thanks to the poor customer data handling of homeloft, I'm now at 37 scam attempt emails. I settled with homeloft for a percentage of the cost so that I can commit anything HomeLoft to the Spam folder.
I now have an item I don't want, had to pay for and lots of scam attempt emails still regularly coming in.
This is by far, the worst shopping experience I have ever had from anyone in decades - I'm pretty grumpy about this TBH.

Customer Service Non-existent
This company knows nothing about good customer service. I purchased a vacuum cleaner for over £250 and it arrived with a USA plug. I was advised by an Electrical Engineer not to attempt to use this or try to convert as it would blow all domestic electrics and may cause a fire!! I have since been contacting Homeloft multiple times via telephone and email requesting returns details for a full refund. I have been lied to several times that the only person who can help me is somebody called Akash and they keep saying he isn't working today!!... Meanwhile this Akash has sent a message about giving me 15% discount for a convertor which I absolutely do not want. I am still awaiting returns advice for a full refund. I am now considering taking legal action. Do not trust this company, they do not care about the H&S issue here and do not appear to want anybody to return anything!!

Sold me something for £50 and when it…
Sold me something for £50 and when it arrived it had a tag on it for $15. I sent it back and I never received my refund. They continue to ghost me after numerous attempts. They don’t even deserve one star.

Beware …..rubbish company !!!
I ordered a bronze metal vase from homeloft. It was very expensive. Waited a month and then they gave delivered it to entirely the wrong address. I have requested a refund but they are now ignoring my emails. It is not down to me to try and track where this base is, they should either send another base or refund me. So far I have paid £340 for nothing. I would not recommend this company at all they send from abroad which takes forever and they are appalling with sorting problems out. I’m still waiting. I am having to try and claim through my credit card company now. Beware !!!!!!

Brilliant kettle. First class.
The kettle took nearly eight weeks to arrive. I don’t really understand the long delay even it came from abroad!! When it finally arrived It’s as lovely as I expected. However, it had an American electric plug so, had to buy an adapter before it could be used. More delay. What a shame.

HOMELOFT UPDATE - MATTER RESOLVED
HOMELOFT HAS NOW REFUNDED ME the value of the mixer. I’m very grateful to have this matter resolved, although I obviously lost most of the cost of the postage to the USA - something I could not have anticipated.

Products as described and delivered as…
Products as described and delivered as promised.
Ordering process a little difficult with no visibility of postcode used on order acknowledgment. Customer service query responded quickly to allay any concerns
No Paypal
It speaks volumes that they don't accept Paypal as paypal would refund the items not received or faulty items

Good to deal with
Had items in stock, posted quickly and I received it within a reasonable time frame. Well packaged and secure. Would definitely buy from them again.
Warning: Deceptive Practices and Unusable Product
I bought a popcorn machine from their website, only to discover upon arrival that it has an American plug, which was not disclosed in the product listing. This renders the machine completely unusable in the UK due to the significant differences in voltage and wattage standards.
The cost of purchasing a converter to make the machine functional exceeds the price of the product itself and is not readily available because of the high wattage of the product. To add to the frustration, homeloft.uk refuses to refund the shipping costs for returning the item, which amounts to £50.
This situation is unacceptable and indicative of deceptive practices. It appears that homeloft.uk intentionally withholds critical information about their products, sending items they know will not work in the UK, likely with the aim of encouraging returns without covering the associated costs.
This behavior is a blatant scam and a violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2008. I have promptly reported this matter to the UK trading standards office for further investigation.
I urge homeloft.uk to rectify this situation immediately by providing a full refund, including the return shipping costs, and ensuring that they accurately disclose product details on their website to prevent similar issues for other customers.
Update - no contact has been made, I have been trying to get the postage cost refunded and they are only offering a voucher. I have contacted the trading office and I am well within my rights to pursue a full refund including postage because the goods were not fit for purpose. Item has not been delisted.

First purchase
Item arrived in good time and was packaged well. Postage well priced for size of the item. Hope to buy again in the future as this was my first purchase from Homeloft.
