Recommend the one in Nottingham which is my local very highly - the food is insane, the atmosphere relaxed, warm and friendly, they have lots of vegetarian and vegan options - for me it's heaven (and the cake selection is incredible!)
The food is just OK at most, and terrible most of the time, I ate there quite a few times so is not just a one time experience, every time I ordered poached eggs on toast asked the same for the eggs not to be hard boiled so that the yolk is still a little runny (as poached eggs should be, every time had to wait over twenty minutes, most of the time toast was burnt, and when sending toast back still come back with yet another burn toas and another 20 minutes later ...and the eggs always like rubber balls.
Moving on to the service, there is hardly any eye contact from the staff to you and even when you pay no eye contact no smiling at all.
Atmosphere, I am not complaining of the music choice as that is obviously the owner/staff choice, even though is not my cup of tea however would not be fair of me to comment on that so I will not, what I do comment is on the level of sound of the music, which is far too loud for a cafe/bistro.
Finally value for money, well overall is not bad value for money, would be even better if things weren't served burnt most of the time, and staff was more friendly.
