Received the wrong item and case never resolved

Before christmas I bought a Kay Bojesen wooden monkey medium size, which costs 3356 SEK. When a familiy member opens up the gift at christmas night, she discovers it is the small version of the monkey. I didn't realize it was the small version until I saw the medium version in a shopping window in town, an item that was much much larger than the one I received.

So I realized I had paid 3356 SEK for an itemn, but it was in fact the monkey that costs 930 SEK I had received. This got me mad, because that means I didn't get what I paid for. And that Homeme
scores 2426 SEK.

Even though it is some time ago, I call customer service and explain the situation. I agree with them I should send an email explaining the situation. In the email I offer to either
1) Send in the small monkey in exchange for the medium version I originally paid for
or
2) Get a refund corresponding to the amount I need back which is 3356 - 930 = 2426 SEK

After I send the email I receive a reply containing a ticket nr. It means I have a case. Some time after that I get another email with the outcome of my ticket. I was going to get a refund of the remaining sum of 2426 SEK. This email was sent to me on January 21, 2019.

On January 24 I receive an apologizing email that reads

"Vi beklagar men just nu har vi problem med våra återbetalningar men vi jobbar på att lösa problemet så snabbt som möjligt. Men därför kan er återbetalning dröja lite så att ni är medvetna om detta."

So they have troubles refunding people the additional money they have paid, for goods they never receive, and they are working as fast as possible to solve the problem.

It is now February 4 and I have not heard anything.

This company is in a hurry sending out the wrong things to people and I assume they make up excuses to avoid paying the money back, if they mess up the orders.

I honestly cannot recommend this store to anyone and I think they should straighten up.

They should seriously take a look at the ordernig process. Right now I am not sure I will ever get my money back. So unsatisfying.
