WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Rachel Baker, Rachel Baker, Rachel Baker, Rachel Baker, Rachel Baker!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS ONE DETERMINED LADY and is SUCH AN ASSET TO HOME REACH - HEYLO!!!! Rachel knew EXACTLY what Shared Ownership is all about. It would be very easy for my son to be bypassed when he was applying for a property due to housing need. We are currently overcrowded in Shared Ownership. As a Tenant you have rights HOWEVER our Children (20 & 22) are classed as Occupants which gives them an issue later in life because property is not able to be passed on to occupants. Rachel took on board that my son was local, worked locally, needed security for the future but that he was also not able to afford the 50% share advertised. Initially he was told that it is 50% by the developers HOWEVER Rachel fought his corner and assessed him on affordability inline with what Shared Ownership is supposed to be "AFFORDABLE HOUSING".
A BULL IN A CHINA SHOP AND A DOG WITH A BONE doesn't even touch how persistent and professional Rachel is in getting to the finishing line.
We really couldn't have done it without her! EVERY email and phone call was answered swiftly, in and outside working hours. When things got tough, in Rachel came and sorted everything!!!
