We booked a stay at 15 Square Desais Paris on November 7 2025 through booking.com for August- September 10 next year and cancelled the next day under booking.com's free cancellation policy.
The host of this property is homerental.fr owner is Claude.
After several attempts through booking.com we finally managed to get a partial refund on dec 9 with the promise from Claude that the balance would be returned the following week.
We are now 2 months past the initial cancellation and yet to receive the 2nd half of our refund.
This is now borderline fraudulent. I would be very wary of sending funds to this company.

Very Disappointing Stay Due to Unresolved Maintenance Issues

I recently stayed at an apartment managed by Home Rental Service in Paris and was disappointed by the experience. Despite prior assurances, the property had several issues: a clogged shower drain causing flooding, only one functional stove burner, and a non-working television.

While the drain issue received partial attention, the stove and TV problems remained unresolved throughout my stay. Repeated promises of repairs were unfulfilled, and communication was lacking.

This experience did not meet the standards I expected and significantly affected my stay. I cannot recommend this property or management company based on my experience.
