Had a wonderful experience with Homeshield. Zach was a brilliant rep, made everything extremely clear and did everything he could to ensure we got a good deal that we were happy with. He was also amazing at dealing with any questions or concerns we had during the manufacturing and installation process, definitely helped as doors/windows can be very stressful to deal with. The installation team was very professional, completing the whole house in just two days to a high standard. Overall we are super happy with the results.

Zack our Homeshield representative was informative, attentive, professional and delivered excellent customer service throughout the process. The installation of the windows and doors was done with great attention to detail and again the workmen were professional and efficient. Despite the delays in manufacturing, Homeshield communicated with us every step of the way and were quick to answer any questions. Overall our experience has been positive and we will be working towards getting more windows done in the future.

They were fast and made sure the door was fitted properly. Put down floor mats to protect my flooring. They fitted it all the same day and I was specially happy with the finish. Definitely recommend them.

We had a visit from Zach today and he was very good and professional at his job. He explained and showed us the different qualities of material we could use for the conservatory and the right options to go for.

They offer a grant and this is a con as the sales person spent 3hrs at my home persuading me to go ahead with a large deposit otherwise I would lose the grant offer . You find these ads on instagram all the time. Then you have to read the small print as he said that I could just email them in 7 days for the deposit back. But no, as I had to send a small form on the bottom of the contract print it out and post it with a first class stamp tracked mail ,and it was over a weekend, so they got it a day late and would not return my deposit.
It was very stressful so I had work done to the amount of deposit.
The product is very good for PVC sash windows and opens three ways but the tilt outwards comes out too far. I really didnt need such a high end product but I was under pressure with the sales person. The fitters were great and did a good job. But just before they came the office sent me my final bill at 4pm the day before installation and they said I had to pay it 24 hours before they started otherwise they would send me a further bill for £350 for their inconvenience, I couldnt believe it. This is what happens when dealing with large companies their quote was way to high about £4,000 more than a local company who did the remaining timber sash windows perfectly.

After seeing an instagram ad, I filled out a form to see if I was eligible for a ‘government grant’ to install high quality
energy efficient windows, which I wouldn’t be able to normally afford. We’re discussing redoing our porch windows because of a recent break, but given the ad and the follow up call had absolutely no specifics on price, I told the telephone agent I’d be theoretically interested in upgrading other rooms too, depending on the price. I was told a surveyor would come out for an hour to assess our eligibility, after which point we could discuss potential costs and options. I had the impression this surveyor would be a tradesman or like someone who performs home surveys when you sell your house, just get on with things in the background. Unfortunately the person who came was a salesperson, although it took me about two hours to realise it. It sounds like they probably do have high quality products, but I think the whole smoke and mirrors about cost depending on “eligibility” is a sales tactic. We got frustrated and asked if we could wrap up as it was a longer and more intense conversation than we’d expected, and we indicated we could probably only afford to do the porch and not other rooms. The sales person left and we still haven’t been sent our quote for what our costs would be via email.

Im extremely happy and satisfied with my experience with Homeshield. I had the windows fitted last year and the full process was delightful, and after a year the windows are still sparkling white and work as if they are brand new.
The initial visit with Zach was very helpful, he was friendly understanding and took his time to help. Not to mention giving me an outstanding price for the quality that they deliver.
During the fitting Adam the manager came to visit and inspect the work which was a lovely surprise. The fitters were professional they worked very well but took their time making sure it was fitted properly. They cleaned up after themselves too, everything was out back in it's place. And adam visited again upon completion to make sure I was happy with the final result.
I would definitely recommend Homeshield England!

So the saying about “double glazing salesmen” rings true… unfortunately.
TL;DR: Avoid this company.
– Pushy, drawn-out sales tactics
– Multiple broken promises
– Took my money with zero accountability
– Poor communication and customer service
– Endless excuses, no resolution
We met with Homeshield on 9th April, hoping to get a bay window replaced before the birth of our child. We’re now four weeks away from the due date, and we’re £500 out of pocket with no clear indication if Homeshield can even deliver what was promised.
The initial sales pitch was a 2-hour marathon full of pressure tactics, but the quoted rate seemed fair. I agreed to move forward, on the clear condition that I’d receive details of nearby wood window installations to review. That information never came.
I followed up via email—no response. I called their call centre—was assured someone would get back to me. Still nothing. Then, out of the blue, we got a message that a technician would be coming the NEXT DAY—zero notice. We adjusted our schedule to be there.
Still no clarity on the window spec.
Eventually, I received an email saying the cost of the wood windows would be significantly higher than initially quoted. At this point, I tried again to get answers—emails, calls—no replies.
When I finally managed to speak with someone and expressed my frustration, I was told they’d been “trying to reach me” (they hadn’t) and asked if I had any further questions.
We spoke again and I was told they don’t even have wood samples available, and would need to check with the factory. …What kind of window company doesn’t have access to basic samples? I was then promised a response that evening. That was over 9 days ago—still nothing!
I genuinely didn’t want to write a public review, but I’ve been left with no other option. It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated this way—especially at such an important time for our family.

Our experience with Homeshield England has been nothing short of a nightmare. Although Zach, the representative, was polite, his aggressive sales tactics were completely unacceptable. He arrived on time but stayed until well past 8 PM, causing my partner to miss crucial parts of an important meeting just so he could keep pushing for a sale. Zach claimed we were approved for a government grant due to the condition of our windows and doors - a grant we had never heard of and later found to be highly questionable.
We were pressured on the spot to pay a £500 refundable deposit to “secure” a discount, with only 7 days to decide. We clearly declined within the deadline via text, email, and a formal letter. Yet, Homeshield England has failed to refund our money and has ignored all attempts at communication since.
This company’s dishonesty, lack of transparency, and blatant disregard for customers’ time and money is disgraceful. I strongly advise anyone to avoid Homeshield England entirely - do not fall for their scams or empty promises.
The appointment was made by my partner so all booking information would be made in his name.
An email was sent with supporting evidence and we’re still awaiting a response.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience with Homeshield to prevent others from going through what I have.
I engaged Homeshield in early March to purchase a new front door. I met with a representative, a young man identified in other reviews, selected a design, and paid £1,725 shortly after. From then on, the service fell apart.
Despite being told that the door would be manufactured promptly, weeks passed with no updates or progress. I had to chase them repeatedly via WhatsApp, phone, and email — and was met with silence, vague replies, and shifting information.
Eventually, I was told the original door hadn’t even been started. I was then sent two different design options (neither of which featured in their original brochure) and pressured to pay an additional £750 to “expedite” manufacturing. This charge was never clearly explained, formally agreed, or backed by any transparent process. When I asked for guarantees and clarity, communication became even more erratic.
Between 1st and 13th May, I made multiple calls to their office — most unanswered, some redirected, and all without resolution. Eventually, the young man abruptly told me the door was “no longer available.”
After two months of trying to get clarity and having paid in full, I was left without a product — and worse, my refund request was denied.
Their proposed “solution” was either to proceed with the original door they previously claimed hadn't been started, or to select something entirely different from their “current live brochure.” They failed to acknowledge how far this strayed from the original agreement, or take responsibility for their own role in the delays and confusion.
Their email communications were dismissive and legalistic, claiming:
“We categorically dispute all allegations,”
“Your claims are entirely without merit,”
“We will not be responsible for any legal or administrative fees you choose to incur,” and
“We will not engage in further informal dialogue.”
This tone is not unique to my case — if you read other negative reviews, you’ll see the same template responses: denying any wrongdoing, rejecting legitimate concerns, and insisting they’ve “acted within the terms of the contract,” while ignoring the very behaviour that caused the complaint in the first place.
I fully expect Homeshield will respond to this review in the same robotic, dismissive tone, making no effort to acknowledge fault or resolve the issue in good faith. That in itself tells you everything you need to know.
They want to shift blame, absolve themselves of responsibility, and claim legal protection, while conveniently forgetting the lies, misrepresentation, poor service, and pressure tactics that got us here.
Let’s be absolutely clear:
No door was delivered.
My refund request was ignored.
They lied about the status and availability of the original design.
They failed to communicate clearly or consistently.
They refused to take accountability.
This experience has caused stress and disruption to me and my family — especially my wife, who is a new mother — at a time when we should have been focused on more important things.
I will now begin formal proceedings with Trading Standards and prepare to take legal action.
The only star here is for their sales agent’s ability to get me to proceed quickly — something I now seriously regret.
Homeshield might look polished online, but once they have your money, the support vanishes. They will try to force their way forward, even when it’s clear they haven’t delivered what was promised.
Please read the negative reviews — I wish I had. This is not a one-off, it’s a consistent pattern.
Avoid this company.
