I wish I would've checked Trust Pilot before placing my order with Home Square. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed an order and received an email stating that I requested a cancellation within two days. (This was inaccurate and I thought it may've been a phishing email. I emailed HS and got no response.) I tried calling their customer service and they only provide an email address. I finally found a workaround and spoke to a human and he was rude, unhelpful and waning on offensive. I'll happily pay $20 extra to buy from another company instead.
Home square is absolute trash
Home square is absolute trash. Do not order from them. They will only respond to you if you get your credit card company involved. They ship broken products and just ignore you and offer pity discounts to keep it.
Never order from this trash company or Cymax. Giving this company 1 Star is offensive they deserve 0. Go with a local company or a reliable seller who has communication skills.
For anyone having the issue of homesquare not responding, just go right to your credit card company. They only answer then since it hits their margin hard. Don’t let this trash company keep a penny

I ordered an electric fireplace from Home Square, which apparently ordered from Cymax. I was given an order confirmation, a shipped date and a UPS tracking number. UPS claims the tracking number is invalid and they have no scheduled deliveries for my address. Home Square has no way to reach customer service other than through e-mail. I have sent e-mails but have not received any response. I have filed a dispute with paypal, but that will take time to resolve. I do not recommend using this company. Unfortunately I checked them out with Google reviews where they have a 4.6 star rating as compared to Trust Pilot which has them at a 1.5 star review.
MISSING PIECES
I ordered a dresser from Walmart.com not knowing it was Homesquare the dresser came missing 4 pieces.
Not anyone to speak to just email. Unacceptable

Seriously, I have never been one to complain but this is just ridiculous. I ordered from Walmart unaware that’s it was a third part seller and that it was coming from home square. I got a notification my platform bed would be delivered may first. May first came and went. I called the shipping company a week later and they said they couldn’t find one of the pieces in the warehouse but they could deliver the pieces they had. What am I supposed to do with 2/3 of a bed? They oromised to keep looking. Two weeks later, no response. Then I found out you can only contact homesquare by email. They told me they had a deliver date in their system. I emailed back, telling them that wasn’t true. THREE WEEKS LATER, blaming covid of course, they asked me if I would like the two pieces delivered (!!!) or if I would like a refund. I said refund. They said they would refund my order in 2-3 business days. Well, it’s been 7 business days and no refund. At this point I just expect to take a loss. DO NOT order from them and make sure if you’re ordering from Walmart that it is not a third party seller like homesquare.

I began this process at the end of March 2020. We had just moved into a new home and needed a dining table. I could not go out and purchase one because quarantine had began and. furniture stores were not open. BIG MISTAKE. I should have waited. I would have one by now. The table came badly damaged (in May) and I asked for a replacement. Email from them stated 1-3 days to process. It’s been a month. I am unable to find their phone number. Could someone please help me? I would appreciate a phone number to try and speak to them. I spent a lot of money and they have my money. Unfortunately, my family still does not have a dining table. I also usually research before I buy....but I trusted Walmart and really needed a dining set. Also, I did not think this type of service was even possible. Thanks!

I ordered 2 patio chairs with cushions through Houzz.
I received 1 chair without a cushion and received somebody else's headboard instead. The headboard was for a customer some 200 miles away. I promptly let Homesquare know and I got several run arounds via email. First, I was told my item was now no longer in stock so i would have to wait. Few days later a cushion arrives...wrong color. Still no second chair...still a few days later, i finally get the second chair...still missing my 2 cushion sets . I asked them when they would be picking up the headboard that I didn't order..they pretty much said they didn't know when but asked me to store their junk indefinitely. I have been emailing them now for a week which i guess is still not as bad as most people on this website. We have had numberous emails back and forth and all they want is additional pictures and tracking and when i provide it, nothing happens. They say my cushions are reordered but at this rate it may be next year before i receive them. They have already charged my card.

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. I ordered art from the Homesquare since the price was significantly cheaper than other retailers. Although it shipped quickly, Fedex lost it for 2 weeks. I informed Homesquare and they replied several days later apologizing for the delay and said that I have to wait for Fedex to deliver. They never contacted Fedex to file a claim. Well, on May 30, the art arrived but one was damaged. I immediately sent them an email of the issue. I just received a response from them on June 15 at 7:49pm. Beyond unacceptable. I had already ended up fixing the art myself and taking it to Hobby Lobby to secure the frame.

My purchase through Homesquare has been quite the headache and a very unpleasant experience. They evidently outsource to another company called Cymax. Both companies are unreachable by phone and Homesquare only corresponds through untimely computer generated emails. I ordered a dining room table and have never received it but was charged for it. After checking with the shipping company (Fastrak AIT Worldwide Logistics), they said they didn’t receive the table nor do they even ship to our state. Three weeks later and I still do not have a table or a refund. Homesquare has now offered to cancel my order but will only give me a refund once the table is back in their possession (which obviously could be never or take months depending on where it’s at). I would NOT recommend this company. I wished I had done my homework and read the reviews first, they clearly would have warned me. Unfortunately I purchased through Walmart on line and had no idea. SO BUYER BEWARE... Walmart partners with Homestore & Cymax and sells their items as third party on the Walmart website. And just a FYI, Walmart then disputes the issue with the seller (Homesquare) and that too has been a tail chasing experience with nothing getting resolved. Still no refund or table. Save yourself a bunch of undue stress and shop local or use a more reputable company who stands behind their service and products.
EDITED, no thanks to HomeSquare or Cymax, I am working directly with the shipping company and hoping we can find a way to get the table delivered.

I ordered a couch from them and did not like it. I have tried every way known to man to contact them to try to return the couch. Phone, 3 different email addresses, and the Walmart portal with no response.

The worst company on the entire earth
If you need customer service you have to email and it takes days for a response. It is impossible to talk with anyone on the phone. The extra bonus is that when they do read your email there is almost a 0% chance that they will understand what you wanted and will respond with the wrong thing or take action that you never requested. I would never do business with this company again.

Fedex delivered the top and stated that was all they were shipped.the wooden box the marble top was placed has a big sticker on it shipment 1 of 2.Not only am i missing the cart but the marble top is stained and cracked across the entire surface. Cancelled my order within hours of placing the order. It was successfully canceled but some how got delivered anyway. Customer service contacted me once asking what u would like to do with it, I responded that they could pick it up. Then got a second email telling me I can keep it for a $90 discount or PAY to ship it back. I emailed them back that there was no way in h**** that I was coming out of my pocket for their mess up. It’s been 2 weeks and have not heard a word from them! So I’m not sure what’s going to happen! But I’m still waiting with 4 big heavy boxes sitting in my house
