well it was going well, I received and reviewed 2 products. Received a Kerastase bundle to review, got into the top 20 last month for the month, was doing reviews daily...Then .. they put a flag on my account reminding me of community guidelines and not using AI or posting from more than 1 account.. NEITHER of which I have ever done! I tried to contact them to remove the flag, BUT the online support form won't go through and keeps saying "error Kaptcha invalid", there is NO Kaptcha box anywhere on the form ! The email address they send from is a no-reply address and I simply cannot find anywhere to actually contact them, so if customer services actually read these comments PLEASE contact me or provide a contact email address or sort your contact form out, Thank you !

Have received plenty of great product tests but having terrible problems with the website at the moment and unable to get in touch with a human (just receiving generic AI responses asking for information that was present in my original query). Also asking for additional details but sent from a noreply email address and the 500 character limit to submit a ticket on the website (and inability to upload screenshots) does not allow for the level of detail they are asking for. Constant error messages when trying to submit surveys/upload photos or reviews no matter which device I use. Now I'm likely to miss a deadline for a product test and have my account penalised because I can't submit what is required nor get in touch with anyone from customer services. Very frustrating.

I initially had a great experience, I received products and everything worked smoothly. However, things changed later on. I was given a voucher advertised as “100% off,” but when I checked the product price, the voucher didn’t cover the full cost. I was expected to pay extra, which defeats the purpose of a product test. When I raised this, I was told the voucher was for something else, which wasn’t clearly communicated upfront.
After that, I qualified for a Takealot R650 campaign, completed everything, and my profile still shows I’m eligible but I never received the link or any follow-up.
Overall, it started well but became disappointing due to misleading offers and lack of communication.

I’ve been on their site for a number of years now and have had quite a range of products to test such as moisturiser, shower gel, shampoo, fake tan, foundation, toothpaste etc which I really enjoy. Have never been selected for a larger item but I keep hoping! It’s nice to get free products in return for writing an honest review. Maybe it will be my day soon for something bigger lol

I love Dove products, they really last 72 hours, I just noticed the coconut and jasmine flower scent, they smell great, especially for summer, spray deodorants are a great thing for summer

So I reached out to HTC again after completing a review my issues with HTC. As always this company will respond only to your negative review. It doesn't matter how many times you try to contact them. If it is negative do not expect them to respond. Look at the last reviews by me or anyone who has posted a negative review. They always have a corporate response. Which means absolutely nothing. They went on and on on how they have changed their practices. Their new global Community Support team will reduce wait times. Sadly this is a lie! 2 weeks ago I reached out and no response still. Most businesses would have reached out directly to resolve any issue or clarify misunderstandings not this platform they continue follow the same practices as they have been doing for years. Don't take my word, look at all the 1 star reviews. its the same thing over and over. They respond with the same corporate response. To this day they have never contacted me to have a discussion with my issues. Only to cover the butts on a negative review when people post negatively. Still waiting!!! Why is it so hard for them to communicate directly. I will keep everyone posted of my interactions with this platform.
I’ve always enjoyed using HTc and been a member for a while. However, I began writing more seriously in school and improved my writing skills. I’ve now applied this method to my reviews, which are honest and based on my own testing of products, some of which I received. I received an email stating my account had been flagged for using “AI”, which is untrue. I’m disappointed and can’t access the surveys I’ve completed; they’ve all disappeared. No one has responded to my request for my account not to be flagged. I simply want to continue using HTc. Was it a crime to write a detailed and honest review? I explained this in the email, stating that if I believed it wasn’t true I should contact customer support, which I did but haven’t received a response. It’s really disheartening… not sure what happened to the campaigns I had spilled out … why they’re disappeared .. unsure but this is all unfair.

I joined the Home Tester Club around a month ago and all I can say for now is that it's not appealing. The website is glitchy. The search doesn't work most of the time, you put the brand or product name and it shows no results, but then when browsing the website you can find that the product you tried to find is actually there.
They want you to connect to your social accounts, but there is only an option to connect with Facebook. I'm not going to do that, I keep Facebook private, as I am using it to connect with my friends and family only. I would connect Instagram if there would be an option, but there isn't.
You can apply for product tastings, but they are not telling you specifically what it is or when and if they will contact you about if you got it or not. It kind of feels like it's just for the purpose of collecting your personal data.
I use another website where I can apply for tasting stuff (for around a year now) and there everything is clear, I know what I am applying for and when the cutting off time is and they notify me at the specified time if I was chosen to be part of it or not.
I was thinking this will work in a similar way, but I was completely wrong. You just put your personal information in the short surveys with your acceptance of them using it, but that's it, they don't inform you of anything.

I have been an active member since 2020. I have always loved this platform until this last month. I need an issue resolved over a $10 gift card. I tried to be patient but it's been almost a month! I feel completely ignored and really thinking about closing my account now. Did the entire company go on a 30 day vacation????? Would like my $10 without having to send 12 emails.
I'm still here waiting on that $10 incentive??? After they responded on here, they sent me a personal Email apologizing and promising to send me my incentive that week. Here it is 2 or 3 more weeks later and NOTHING!!!!!! I can't trust this site now sadly.

I was glad to join HTC because I have been a member of other product testing groups for years and had the opportunity to evaluate many different items. The feedback given helped introduce new products to various markets and it has been a great experience.
HTC, however, has been somewhat different. Signing up was easy enough. I received several emails inviting me to complete surveys but more than a year later, nothing further has happened. Perhaps I don’t fit in their population profile. I’m not a young, active, social-media influencer, so perhaps I don’t fall within their current demographics.
I am part of that group of senior citizens who are retired and still have some discretionary income. Yes, there are still a few of us around. We learned to live within our budgets and are still able to purchase most anything we want or need without suffering great financial stress. I’m not sure how valuable it would be to HTC if they had a different perspective on the items being tested by receiving input from older members. Just a thought.

Home Tester Club is great but I emailed them about 3 times.
Hi! I emailed about 3 times regarding a survey. It was a survey for laundry detergent and to add a video. When I went to add the video, the survey just closed and I wasn’t able to edit it. Now the button for upcoming surveys is not letting me press it. Is there anyway we can fix this issue
If anyone can help me fix this issue, I’ll be greatly appreciate it

I've been a member since 2016 - and since then have had the opportunity to sample and test, review and comment on various products. It's fab! I don't usually write such positive reviews unless the company deserves it......and the Home Tester Club does!
Look - you aint going to get products all the time.....not even weekly or monthly.....as the team have to find the right match for the companies that supply the test products and samples, right? But that's part of the fun! You just don't know when you may get something.....and it isn't costing you anything other than your time, small effort and honesty.
So - be patient. Be part of the community. Be real - that means giving your honest opinion.....and not trying to game the system (i.e. opening multiple accounts etc).
But more so......come and join us! (And no.........I have no link whatsoever to the company!)

"Ah, Home Tester Club, the pinnacle of disappointment. Despite my relentless hope of actually testing a product, I remain invisible to their selection process, yet somehow my phone number is their prized possession—spam calls galore! Truly, it’s like signing up for excitement and getting an endless telemarketing marathon instead. Honestly, it rivals some of the worst sites ever—looking at you, Click & Claim—in sheer frustration and wasted time."

Was suspended for no reason, have done nothing wrong, messaged them, they did reply saying I have to agree to their terms and conditions, not to use AI, which I have always not used AI and always followed their terms and conditions but pointed that out others don't especially on social media. Been with this company for several years, applied honestly for loads and loads of trials but only chosen for 1 product to test while other people have been chosen for numerous products, makes you wonder how they managed that.

Reply from Home Tester Club
I received emails inviting to apply for products yesterday, I went to sign in today and my account has been suspended. No email or communication with a reason. Absolutely abysmal, theirs no reason to suspend me. I’m disappointed in this sham of a company. I’ve applied for loads of tests but never got any. So a waste of time anyway.

I've attempted to review products sent to me numerous times and all I get is an error constantly showing the tasks and current tests don't exist. I continue to receive emails anyways threatening my continued participation with Home Tester Club even after a dozen emails to support asking for assistance with zero response. For people that actually want to review products, this is incredibly frustrating. My account is now flagged for not completing the reviews I've been trying to do for over 3 months now.

Reply from Home Tester Club
Probably my last attempt in trying to reach out to get some support. Been sent a product but unable to submit a review as it keeps coming back with error. Contacted support 3 times and no response..unsure what to do or if it would affect my account but I've tried.
