An absolute rip off - plumber £151 per hour on a Saturday afternoon, damaged our property and the staff still tried to overcharge us

Homyze is life changing!! Whenever I have needed someone to do the smallest of jobs to complicated ones, they have never let me down. I don't have to wait for someone to have some time - they are there when you need someone even on short notice - on time, polite, friendly, helpful and problem solvers! So easy to keep on top of the "issues" at home. Don't have to worry about "finding someone good" - they all are!! Life changing!!!

Homyze = Fantastic!

Had only been at our new house a month, everything was new/but unknown, when boiler packs up.

Homyze arranged a same day appointment - even worked around my timings as I’m a teacher and therefore quite inflexible with timings - heating engineered arrived a minute ahead of schedule, diagnosed problem at sight and helped us to live/carry on with with during icy climes.

So grateful, heating and hot water were back up and running.

A question for Homyze... How many of your reviews are by you or people you know?

If you scan the various online review sites, you’ll see reviews from people with these names (or with the same surnames): Adam Edgell-Bush, Andrew Jacques, Matthew Eagles. You’ll also find all those names working for Homyze.

The weird thing is everyone sharing these names had a fantastic service from Homyze. I didn’t. They did a bad job, overcharged and responded arrogantly to feedback.

I’ve found about 10 suspect reviews from a small amount of looking. And ony knowing three of their names. So how many friends have you got to write reviews too, Homyze? Perhaps you could explain. Or maybe the CMA could help get to the bottom of this.

I recently used Homyze to fix a leak in my bathroom. The booking process was very easy. On the day of the appointment, the plumber turned up on time and quickly identified the problem and fixed it. They recommended some follow up actions and they ensured that they chased me so that it gets done. The entire service experience was positive and efficient. The rates they charged were reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

Great service, had several odd jobs around the house I needed dealing with for the next day due to a rental and all was done to an excellent standard!

I booked one hour for trimming a hedge through homyze. When the job was completed I was billed for 3 hours without being sent any sort of payment advice. I booked another tradesman 3 months before using homyze and I paid less than 1/3 the price I was charged by using homyze.

Very disappointed with the service as I should have been warned, and should have had the chance of contesting the extremely high charge for the job.

Will never use homyze again and will warn everyone I know not to use it.

Absolutely fantastic service. The Homyze staff are so helpful and arranged a plumber really quickly. The workman they sent was incredibly polite and efficient and fixed the problem in no time. I'll definitely be using them again. Thank you!

Excellent service, couldn't be happier.

This company ripped me off and taken money from my account without authorisation. Work should only be charged for the hour but charged nearly double with no explanation and unacceptable not putting it right when challanged. I do not recommend.Don't pay any attention to the response below this lot are going to steal from you, go with some one else

I can't recommend the team at Homyze high enough. They have completed a handful of jobs for me and they are always within time and budget. The quality of the work is brilliant and I fully trust them. Nothing is too much trouble and the customer service is outstanding.

Awful experience - never again. Far better to go to sites like Trust a Trade or Checkatrade...

We needed some urgent work done and enquired about Homyze’s services online. We received an immediate phone call, and the person we dealt with was very polite, courteous and took the time to explain what they thought the problem was and at no point did we feel pressured into using their services. We couldn’t have been happier with the results – the tradesman was courteous, providing updates through the app as to where he was, and we received a level of follow up generally unheard of, in the industry. We were so impressed that we used Homyze for additional jobs around the house, and had the exact same experience. Would recommend them to anybody looking for honest, reliable, personable tradespeople. We’ll definitely be using them again.

It was a joy chatting to the great customer service team who helped me make my booking. Adam who I spoke to, was incredibly helpful and explained to me what to expect when hiring a HOMYZE plumber. When the plumber arrived he was polite, and started work straight away. Overall this was a great service, which I would definitely recommend to my friends.

I used Homyze for my gardening and loved it. The guys were super fast and it actually worked out cheaper (and more reliable!) than using a local tradesman. I will defo be using them in the future!

Had a leaking toilet and no plumber I called ever showed. I gave the app a try and it was surprisingly easy to use and book. The plumber showed up when he was meant to and fixed the problem so can't really say more than that.

It's always a bit nerve-wracking hoping you find a good and honest tradesman, and so it was a relief to find HOMYZE. They were totally honest and transparent from the get-go, they repaired my sofa so it looks like new, and the price was exactly as quoted. I will absolutely be using them for any other home repair needs I have in the future.
