I had the BEST and most unique experience with Sanne and her goats. I was running late due to a car train and she accommodated my arrival time. We were so lucky with the best weather and she gave me various options for hikes to choose from but I trusted her judgment and wanted to do the hike so all of her goats could come along. She is so personable and friendly. I’m used to being around large animals, but even someone who is new to farm animals would feel comfortable as she goes over goat behavior and has trained her goats really well. I could have stayed up on the mountain all day with the goats as the views were magnificent, but unfortunately I had to get to my Airbnb appointment, but she would have given me the full-half day even having arrived almost an hour late. I highly recommend this unique Swiss experience. It’s a memory I’ll have for the rest of my life! Thank you so much!

Our hike with our guide Sanna and her goats was the absolute highlight of our trip to Isenthal. The mountain views were stunning, but what made it so special was seeing how much Sanna loves and cares for her herd, she treats them like family pets. We loved that she completely respects their choices. On our day, 5 of the 7 goats wanted to join the walk while the other two preferred to stay behind, and Sanna totally honored that. We learned so much about mountain goats and had a wonderful, grounding time. If you want a unique and truly ethical animal adventure, we can’t recommend Honigberg enough!

I had opportunity to join amazing mountain and goat hikes in Isenthal with my son in May. Our fantastic local guide Sanna had a huge knowledge of the hiking tours, goats and the local nature.

We were astonished of the breathtaking beautiful views and still had the feeling of beeing in safe hands with Sanna. She really knew what to do!

We enjoyed both hikes a lot and will definitely come back soon again!

The guided goat hike was a truly unique and unforgettable experience, especially for someone like me who lives in flat Denmark, where there are no mountains at all.
