Had a great umrah trip with Hope Tours and Imam Ijaz Shami. All the logistics of transfers, hotels, ziyaaraat and even checking in luggage for flights was handled for us allowing us to focus fully on the spirituality of our journey. Would definitely recommend.

From start to end, absolutely outstanding service. Imam Saab continuously ensured everyone and everything was well managed throughout. Ziyarats shown and explained really well in depth. Imam Saab provided us with golden nuggets which enabled and inspired me to go and research further. And damn, soooo much Islamic history in Iraq!

The trip was very spiritual and uplifting in the sense that Imam Saab did not just educate on Ziyarats and stop there. The jazba and andaaz in which everything was explained no doubt made the experience much more enjoyable. He also ensured post Ziyarats there was always reflection. Learning points and take away points which we can implement into our day to day lives.
“Remember if you have no one to consult, consult the wall” ~ has to be my favourite one.

Service wise and hotels wise - spot on, no faults. Transport was really punctual. Hotels - always within walking distance from the nearby Ziyarats, enabling us to attend any time.

I really truly appreciate how easily approachable Imam Saab is, any concerns or questions were always dealt with diligently. So many occasions, Imam Saab showed true selflessness all to ensure our group was comfortable. From sometimes skipping meals and even sleep, May Allah SWT truly reward his efforts.

I recently had the incredible blessing of travelling with Hope Tours to Baghdad, Karbala, Najaf, and Kufa, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin. From the very first day, everything was so beautifully organised — every detail was taken care of, allowing me to truly focus on the spiritual side of the journey without any worries.

Our tour leader was absolutely amazing — so knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The way they shared the history and stories of each sacred place made the experience even more meaningful. You could feel the sincerity and love in every explanation and moment they guided us through.

This was my first time travelling with Hope Tours, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had. I felt supported, inspired, and part of something very special. The entire journey touched my heart in ways I’ll never forget.

Baghdad September/october 2025 with hope tours. I mean I don’t even know where to begin. It’s been such an incredible experience. Without doubt it’s all down to the sincerity of imaam ijaaz shaami who the group was lead by. Someone who goes above and beyond in insuring. That each individual group member is catered for according to his or her needs. Making sure that everything runs smoothly. Even if this means that he does not sleep or eat but will make sure. That whatever needs to be done is done. I can give plenty of examples but I will give two. When we arrived at Baghdad airport the coach that was booked was slightly delayed. Imaam ijaaz didn’t waste any time. He decided to put 58 people with luggage into 4x4’s. So they can reach the hotel in good time and in super comfort. To pay for this from his pocket even tho he had already paid for the booking of the coach. Example number two when we had a checked out of our hotel and was continuing our tour. This was en-route to the airport he arranged food. For the entire group of 58 people. It wasn’t just a snack it was main course with sweet dish with drinks with yogurt for entire group. He didn’t need to do this. I’ve not seen anyone go out the way in such a way. I can carry on giving examples but I will stop here and only say the following. If you want to travel hope tours is the place the only place. Hope tours is levels beyond what I have experienced previously. Service, care, consideration for the elderly and the young. The consistency & level of energy from the first to the last day of this amazing group leader is something on a different level. Think no further and book now I assure you there shall be no regrets. Alhamdulillah 1000x, for the Almighty granting me the chance to fulfil my mothers 50 years desire. I have known Imaam Sahib for almost 6 years and always had faith in my cousins experiences with them and Hope Travel. From the planning,keeping everyone in check and up to date, to the actual introduction of the whole group, to the hotels, 3 inclusive meals, giving everyone the assurance that each individual will be catered for and holding up every promise made.Imaam sahib hats off to you for keeping so much patience, being firm when it was required.Your knowledge of Islamic history is outstanding and the way you convey the message across in English and Urdu is commendable. This was my first pilgrimage after I performed Haj in 1996, and my hearts desires have been fulfilled .I have returned home refreshed and feeling complete. It was an amazing journey throughout. Imam Ijaz not only took us to all the ziyarahs but ensured everyone understood the siginificance of where they were and who they were visiting.
Iraq itself also feels very safe with no worries or concerns around security; we visited several different cities and it all felt very safe.

This is my 2nd trip to Baghdad Sharif with Imam Saab . This time I took my elderly mother on Baghdad tour and Imam Saab went out of his way to ensure my mother was comfortable at all times and took her immobility into consideration whenever any ziyarat trips were organised . We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the whole group and Imam Saab made us all feel like one big family .
