A dead giveaway of fake reviews is gushing testimonials of individual, named customer service people (Brian is wonderful etc).
This company took a payment for a product from me, despite explicitly telling them in writing that I didn't want the product. They have since refused to refund the payment. Upon further investigation, Hostek was dissolved as a company in 2022.
The products are terrible and overpriced, the customer service is worse. One to avoid.

In response to the below, the denial of the refund was not in line with Hostek's T&Cs and they continue to attempt to take payments without authorisation.
There was no accusation in this review, just a statement to 'beware fake reviews'.
Hostek was dissolved in 2022, this information is available in the public domain. It is now just a trading name of a different company.

Our mail service stopped running last night or this morning. I reached out to Support and Vlad got it restarted and functioning within 15-20 minutes. We receive most of our orders via email so he really helped us out when we needed it most.

Hostek was bought a few years ago and its tech support is garbage! My server has been down for an hour and a half and all I've gotten is a message from AI. I can't RDP to my server to reboot it myself. This isn't the first time either. Absolute garbage. I can't wait to move my company to another host. They just don't give a sh!t anymore. I've been with them for like 15 years. this is the last straw.

UPDATE: further to Joshuas response saying this is untrue, unfortunately, Trustpilot does not allow me to upload evidence.
Its great to hear things are finally being fixed, but everything I have said is true, and I will not be accused of lying, So I will instead submit this review on sitejabber instead, which does allow evidence to be uploaded, and I will upload screenshots of some of those mentioned emails/tickets which have dragged on for months and been ignored. Specifically, the one RE refund for the site that never worked, for which we had to refund our customer.

The worst hosting provider I have ever used.
I find it hard to believe any of the positive reviews over the last 2-3 years are real.
I have spoken to many other hostek customers on social media and hosting forums and nobody has had anything good to say about them for the last few years since the buyout.
They used to be great years ago, but after been bought out, it all went downhill and all customers I have spoken to say the same.
Nonstop issues for 2 years, Nobody ever answers the phone or calls back.
They often take weeks or even months to reply to tickets and solve issues, and will leave services down for that entire time. They just don't care.
We had one Lucee site that we spent over 6 months chasing Hostek support over as Lucee wasn't working and couldn't access the lucee admin.
We had to admit to the customer that we use Hostek so that they did not blame us.
They continued charging us for this site for a whole year and refused to refund it and just ignored all emails on the subject.
shkumbin is the worst culprit of all, a completely unprofessional waste of space.
We have moved almost all our clients elsewhere now.

We've been using this service for over a decade now and they are without a doubt the best ColdFusion provider there is. Always fast to react to support tickets, always helpful, always resolve whatever query or issue we have. Just now had a small glitch and Stef sorted it out within minutes. Highly recommend these guys if you're in the market for the CF hosting provider.

I am having a problem connecting via FTP to my website. Following all Hostek's instruction on the web I was still unable to connect. I then contacted the support line at Hostek and spoke to a Stefan. After 6 hours of trying he was unable to resolve the problem and created a support ticket. It's been another 24 hours and I still have not received and answer. It should not take 30 hours to resolve a simple FTP problem! I have been trying to contact a manager to no avail. I am finished with this terrible company.
