Quick and Effective Support.

Joao was my support person and he addressed the issue quickly, communicated well, and solved the issue in a short time. He also explained the issue solution, which helps in case the issue arises again. Excellent support.

20 years and I'm leaving (rubbish service)

I've been with this company (from pickaweb) for almost 20 years but no more.

Can't speak with an agent or log a ticket and they put my prices up 50% with no communications. Rubbish service

Superior Tech Support

Bought my domain originally from Pickaweb who have been taken over by Hostek.

Had a stroke and needed to reduce my costs, Ivan from Hostek Tech support went above and beyond to assist me with setting up my MS exchange email.

So far so good with zero downtime 24 hours later!

Dealt with an actual person who sorted things quickly

Was totally locked out of my account thru my own stupid actions. Thought my email data was lost and gone forever. Then I started a support chat with Stef - 5 minutes, no fuss and the problem was sorted. He stuck around to make sure and now he's on my Christmas card list. Great service - makes a change from the 'AI bots' which are the cause of so much frustration.

One small point to Hostek - on your website, it seems that you have to be logged in to use 'Contact Us', so if your issue is being locked out of your account, that's not so useful. As it was, I set up a new account in order to login and then get help for the original account, but that seems inefficient :)

Vlad, along with Hassan, Nivin, and Fin, worked with my webmaster to assess a complex problem and identify a solution. Vlad was friendly, polite, responsive, and experienced enough to troubleshoot my situation within two days. I am grateful for his service!
I've been using Hostek for a very long time. Their customer support has always been good, but I much regret they have cancelled their phone service. This was a valuable asset.

Figure out why...

After trying to figure out why a certain feature was not displaying on my wordpress site, Vlad was able to figure out the issue and adapt the hosting environment to assist and allow the feature!

Great customer service

I had a really helpful experience with Stefan who managed to make what seemed to be an intractable problem of my own making into a solved problem. He was patient, kind and effective, everything you want in this kind of situation.

Beware

Beware. I have been unable to send E Mails for nearly a week now. The help is very limited. I started ten years ago with Pick A Web and they were fine but, since Hostek took over it has all ended up in a very poor state. Even the phone line just cuts off.

Update.........not long after posting this review, after a gap of 36 hours of no customer support communication, Vlad sent me new settings and so far, they work.

We do advertise a 24 hour response time for shared customers. Also in the initial reply, we do say t hat if you reply before we do, it resets that timer. If you need upgraded support, send in a ticket, and we'll be happy to discuss

24 hours and still no response from support. Trashed website for a second time after I was left to fix it myself. Really cannot believe the lack of interest from 'support'
