Avoid HostEurope! Domain Front-running or critical security leak!
Total failure and untrustworthy behavior. > I found a specific domain (galaxquery.com) that had been dropped for a long time. Within MINUTES of searching for it on HostEurope’s platform and proceeding to checkout, the domain was "sniped" and registered by a bot at Namecheap.
This is either a case of Domain Front-running (where the registrar leaks search data to bots) or an absolute technical failure of their slow, outdated systems. By the time their checkout process finishes, your data has already been leaked to predators.
If you value your digital assets and don't want your researched domains stolen right from under your nose – STAY AWAY. They are unprofessional and failed to secure a simple registration process. I am still waiting for an official explanation on how a domain that was free for years gets snatched 20 minutes after I searched for it on their site.

Impossible to get support
Impossible to get support. We have tried to contact them using all their contact emails for a week and they are unresponsive. They are hosting a scam website that copied our business website and we cannot get support from them to take the scam offline. Not a responsible or trusted hosting company.
UPDATE: I've emailed every contact email on the contact page of their website several times and nobody ever responds.

Host Europe, Never again
Never again I would use Host Europe again.
They transfered all of my emails to Microsoft365 without my consent. They just send an email notification earlier that looked like a spam email, as there is always coming spam emails in the shape of Hosteurope in.
There support is hardly available anymore.
Inform yourself on the internet and you will find that MANY, MANY customers moved away from Host Europe.

Used them for hosting for years until…
Used them for hosting for years without an issue until they suddenly let me know that they will be "migrating" me to a significantly more expensive and unwanted "new and better" platform. Specifically: From the tried and tested normal emails to the UNWANTED and NO GO Microsoft 365 for emails with a per email account cost (!!!). This wouldn't have been the end of the world as one can find another hosting company, but they gave everyone only ONE MONTH notice with no way to opt out or extend the deadline. This meant having to find and migrate to a new provider while out of the country with limited access and inconveniencing all my clients with this rushed changeover. I recommended many clients to them previously - but now no more. I am absolutely disgusted with the way they handled this. I am sure many other people didn't manage to switch in time and were practically forced into their new and costly services.

If everything runs, it's OK like every other provider. If you have issues you are lost.
The selfmanagement was never the best, but now it's a living hell.
The MS365 migration of their mail services is a mess, the FAQ and documentations are full of errors (click throughs that are just false). The different UIs for managing accounts or mails or contracts run all on different domains and arbitrarily use username or Email as login leading to a mess in every password manager.

Choose different provider, no service here
Service doesn't respond to any request via Email (waiting 12+ weeks now, send 7 reminder Emails with any effect). Phone-hotline waiting for hours then hung up. Chatbot on website is a joke and not helpful.
Go to a different provider if you want to avoid headache.

I am trying to reach the live support since more than 3 days because my fathers mail account has been hacked and it always tells me that there isn't any supporter available, also not during the working hours (Mo-Fr von 09 - 17 Uhr)

It is 14:00 o'clock now (german time) and there is no one in livechat available, like always.
And I have to agree with Andreas. All those 5 star ratings here look like they are fake. Very suspicious. I reported that to trustpilot by clicking "report" at one of those fake ratings.

Worst customer support and domain…
Worst customer support and domain registration department. After registration, they take up to a week to register the domain, while they deduct money instsnly, I have lost my selected domain because another person registered it while they take a week

Long Time Customer Calls Quits
I have been with HostEurope for a long time, about 15-20 years. My problems first began when they switched to monthly payments (this was due to a change in law). Pretty soon they hiked up the price (€1 more a month). This is not a lot and wasn’t a big deal for me until they announced that 1&1/2 months later they would move our email accounts over to Microsoft.
This meant 2 things: First off, we’d lose space; the Microsoft accounts were set at 1GB. Secondly, each account would cost us €1/month. I had only 2 email accounts with several aliases but along with the Webhosting price hike, in total, this meant I would be paying double what I paid 1 year prior for less service!
eMails to HostEurope support did not help. The only alternative they offered me was to book my own virtual server … hmmm, no thanks. Support is another issue: I only got 50% response from the support team. This wasn’t entirely new to me, I had already noticed the prior year that some of my support queries were never answered.
This is too bad. I’m a longstanding customer. I don’t even mind paying more for good services. This was, however, no longer the case with HostEurope. In total, I had Webhosting incl. eMail, 5 Domains and 2 SSL certificates I was paying for there and I liked having all these services in one place.
Luckily, I switched to another provider who offers me these services in one place and for less money. On top of that, the support team helped me with the switch and kept constant contact with me. Concerning HostEurope, I’ve cancelled all subscriptions … I’m still waiting for a reply from them concerning my last email.
Too bad, HostEurope … I liked you but you made things complicated and expensive. Your lack of commitment lost you a loyal customer who would have stayed if you cared.
Note: Now, I’ve received a last invoice for Webhosting (the 8 last days) for €2 … hahaha, HostEurope hasn’t even answered my last 2 eMails but grabbing the last two Euros is no prob. I’ve downgraded from 2 to 1 star.
