Hostinger is A Normal Hosting Service and The service is Kinda A Mid So I'll Rate It 3 Star
A couple of days ago, I purchased a business plan with Hostinger so I could migrate a new site to them. I started with the AI agent Kodee which was an absolute disaster.
I spent more than a day and an evening repeatedly answering questions from Kodee about the necessary user names and passwords to gain access to the previous host's Wordpress and cPanel settings. Every time I sent what I was sure were the right details, Kodee started a migration but he/she failed to report to me that the credentials I provided had been refused by the old site. Consequently each time, after I had been waiting for anything up to two hours, I would discover in a routine migration update request that according to Kodee that the credentials had been refused and I had to start all over again.
Finally, the next day, I managed to get connected to Matheus an excellent, helpful and knowledgeable human agent. It took him just a few minutes to discover that the migration had, in effect, been running well all a long. He saved me a lot of time and worry because I was on a tight schedule to get the new site up and running before being charged excessive fees for renewals at the old host.
Well done Matheus and may the good lord protect me from AI agents that sound ever so smart but are actually ever so stupid.
I subscribed to Google Workspace through Hostinger and paid more than €250 for my license. 20 days later, I discovered that they do not allow users to upgrade to Google AI Pro — a critical feature I needed for my work. This upgrade is normally available when your Workspace account is managed directly by Google, but Hostinger’s system blocks it entirely.
When I contacted support, their only solution was to transfer my subscription to Google with zero refund and zero credit, even though I had just made my latest payment a few weeks ago. They explicitly told me:
No refund for the remaining period
No transfer of the paid time
No compensation
The process is irreversible
In other words, I would lose the full value of the subscription I already paid for, simply because Hostinger’s platform does not provide access to the features that Google Workspace normally includes.
This is incredibly frustrating and feels misleading. If Hostinger sells Google Workspace as a reseller, they should either provide the same upgrade options that Google offers, or clearly warn customers before purchase that essential features like Google AI Pro are not accessible.
Instead, customers are left stuck with an incomplete service and no refund option.
Very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend Hostinger as a Google Workspace reseller.
I used Hostinger Horizons AI to build a personal portfolio website. I was impressed by how Hostinger Horizons AI quickly created a nice layout, a professional-looking portfolio gallery, and a contact form for my website. I was surprised by how the Hostinger Horizons AI understood my prompt, generating sections with content that matched my expectations and responsive web pages that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
I like how it is easy to edit text and images to match my desired style and preference. I also noticed it's easy to upgrade. I did not encounter any pricing challenges; the process is smooth and fast.
If there were more customization options on the design, specifically the color and fonts, it would make the Hostinger Horizons more powerful and user-friendly for everyone looking to build a website. This would also prevent some elements from overflowing or being unresponsive. Overall, I enjoyed using Hostinger Horizons because it is fast and Enjoyable to build the desired website.
Terrible cutomer service
The chat on the website with customer support doesnt provide any solutions, feels like youre speaking to a counsellor.
I couldnt access my account and they told me I needed to wait for 2 days for them to do their "Security check", My crime was that I didnt spell my email correctly. Well if they had a system that verifies the email in the first place we wouldnt be in this situation in the first place.
Waste of money, Cant trust these useless people to host my website.
Website is slow anyways, Highly dont recommend you do bussiness with Hostinger !!
