Support Lacks, Hosting Plans Make it Worthwile

I have generally enjoyed Hostinger for its inexpensive hosting plans and user-friendly platform. For basic hosting needs, the value is hard to ignore.

Where Hostinger fell short for me was support.

I was trying to migrate a WordPress website that had been built under a different Hostinger account, and the support process became extremely frustrating. I went in circles with the AI support agent without getting a useful resolution. Once I finally reached a person in chat, there seemed to be either a language barrier or an understanding barrier that made it difficult to move forward.

The issue I was explaining was not being understood correctly. Instead, I kept receiving responses that did not match the problem, along with documentation I had already read and that did not resolve the situation. Several of the steps suggested were not relevant to the actual migration issue I was facing.

Fortunately, with the help of our own AI agent and some troubleshooting on our end, we were able to resolve the problem without meaningful assistance from Hostinger support.

Overall, Hostinger offers affordable hosting and an easy-to-use platform, but the support experience is where the lower cost becomes noticeable. Compared to more expensive hosting providers, the difference in support quality is significant.

Customer Service went above and beyond

The service Davi provided went above and beyond. I was frustrated with the info I received from the chatbot, but Davi guided me through the process step by step. I am very happy with the outcome.

Hostinger stands out most for me for…

Hostinger stands out most for me for their speed. Not just only speed of their servers but speed of their support as well. It's one thing to have a working system and another thing to have a good support system. They make sure they support you through any issue you might face using their services. I highly recommend Hostinger.

Beware, they charge separate for email setup than hosting plans

You need to buy email subscription seperate than hosting. While it suppose to be included at basic version. I bought the hosting plan for 4 year and come to know that it is not included email services. I can have 1 year trial and needs to pay hefty amount for renews of email service which suppose to be free on all hosting plans. New ways to make money, avoid if you dont like seperate charges for each service.

HOSTINGER worst hosting ever

HOSTINGER seems to think it can operate an international tech services company WITHOUT PEOPLE. EVERYTHING is automated, even if the automation DOES NOT WORK properly. I've had several issues with their web-hosting and website building tools and tried (unsuccessfully) to reach a human for help. NO HUMANS HERE, thanks. I can't rate their service as TERRIBLE, since in actual fact there IS NO SERVICE AT ALL.

Kodee not so knowledgeable, human supporters are...

I first had to explain the problem and what I had done to solve it to the Kodee ai robot. Not the best experience. I think that when you have discussed matters with the robot for perhaps 5 minutes, you ought to be transferred to a human being.
Once I got to talk to such a one - Kishan - the problem was quickly and efficiently solved. Kudos to him. Had a knowledge exceeding mine.

Service Failure, Financial Loss & Website Damage by Hostinger

I initially had a fully functioning website. Seeking improvements, I opted to rebuild using Hostinger’s Horizons platform, which was advertised as a simple and efficient solution. However, from the outset, I encountered a fundamental issue: key website functions (including “Contact Us,” “Consult Us,” “Request Access,” and login features) failed to deliver messages to my designated email accounts.

Despite repeated engagement with Hostinger’s support team, the issue remains unresolved. Instead of providing a technical fix, I was repeatedly advised to implement trial-and-error solutions that required the use of paid credits. These actions not only failed to resolve the issue but progressively worsened the website’s functionality and structure.

As a result:

My website is now largely non-functional (“comatose”)
Core business communication channels are broken
I have exhausted over 40 paid credits attempting to fix a basic configuration issue
The platform’s “undo” functionality behaves unpredictably, further damaging the site
No effective technical resolution or accountability has been provided by Hostinger

Amazing customer service and amazing hosting provider overall. It really has given me piece of mind knowing you can get help whenever needed, starting with an advanced ai chat bot and if a human touch is necessary, it's an immediate switch over, which is fantastic.
