Terrible service...bombarded with confusing technology jargon!

I contacted this company as I wanted to switch from GoDaddy. They were great at the pre sale stage and even called me to talk through my needs and reassure me that they would take care of everything for me as I had limited tech capability. Once I was on board as a customer, completely different story. I spent hours trying to figure out how to transfer my emails, my domain name and website. I repeatedly asked them to call me to talk through the process but they said they didn't do that and just bombarded me with instructions with endless abbreviated technology terms which I didn't understand and had no idea how to action. I went back and forth between them and GoDaddy to try and fix whatever issue needed fixing but again no-one helped me understand the endless jargon I was being bombarded with. I lost all my emails and my website. The whole thing caused me so much stress that I cancelled my account with them. At the point of cancellation, they the gave me the option to have a call with a senior engineer to fix the problem!!!!!!! The one thing I had been requesting for weeks! By then, my confidence in them had gone. To make things worse, I have had no contact from them since leaving AND they have continued to take my money on a monthly basis!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!! A terrible experience for me which has seriously disrupted my small business.

Excellent and fast support

Support from the technicians at HostPresto is, as the name suggests, very fast indeed. I have had two issues today that were both dealt with within an hour or two. Very impressive. I would recommend this company for your hosting requirements due to the excellent support available, and the pricing is very reasonable too.

Reliable and helpful Website Host

Personable, and friendly website hosting, help and advice. Reliable company who are always on call (at the end of Help Ticket) with thoughtful solutions. Decent prices compared to some on the market. I've been using HP for a number of years, and although I keep my whits about me, I do get what I pay for and more, especially in today's market of AI, outsourcing, and faceless business. Thanks again guys! : )

Real people not robots

Been with them for a year or so and I've called on them a few times to help. They're prompt, always explain what they've done and even over the Christmas break they were there. Real people not robots.

Just brilliant

Just brilliant. I have been with host presto for many years, and for many years before from when it transitioned from 4uhosting. The service has been impeccable. The support ticket system is streamlined and and the techs reply in a timely way and are always really helpful. I have registered web hosting and a few domains with them, for all my businesses.

There might be many hosting and domain providers out there but I will always stick with hostpresto because of the level of service they have provided to me over the years.

Speedy and Efficient even on Sunday evening

I realised my website was down on a Sunday evening and was so grateful that someone responded to my ticket very speedily, courteously and with the advice I needed to get my website back up. Very impressed with HostPresto's technical help, as always.

I’ve been with hostpresto for over 10…

I’ve been with hostpresto for over 10 years when they were freshsites and they are a brilliant company, reliable great prices too, as someone with limited website building knowledge the process of building a website is easy, plenty of faq’s and the staff are really responsive and helpful with dealing with queries, I highly recommend them

Helpful, knowledgeable and prompt service

My initial contact with the guys at HostPresto has been great, the fact that you can contact a real person for support is extremely beneficial, particularly as this is all new for me. I received responses promptly and they were really helpful, a big thanks to the team, they are helping me navigate web design, albeit, very slowly on my side, it is a lot to take in. At least I know I can submit a support ticket with confidence.

If I could choose zero stars I would

If I could choose zero stars I would. HostPresto moved all our emails to a new server without our knowledge which resulted in the email system of our 8 regional offices crashing. Support was unbelievably slow, literally taking a day to get any kind of progress. I am writing this and it is day 4, our email system is partially up but every sent email has vanished and support can not seem to retrieve them. Furthermore various online forms we use have now also failed becuase our domain no longer links to a server ( or something). We are not techies, and rely upon help when we need it, HostPresto have been woofully inept at solving our issues, woofully slow in responding and for the life of me I cant understand why others have reviewed them positively, our entire company has ground to a halt and they are simply not fixing the problem that they themselves have caused.
We shall shortly be day 5 with the problem still unresolved.

Mike were a life saver!

Mike were a life saver!
I found out i had weird issue with my server suddenly alot of request resolve 503 suddenly, even on fresh cpanel account and fresh wordpress installation resolve 503, i couldnt find any reason for it, even reverting back to apache from litespeed didnt resolve it, and activating some plugins also resolve 503/rederict to homepage Mike jumped in quickly no question asked, and resolve it quickly.

Highly recommended !
Mike and Danny are always pleasure to work with in case of some issue occours they extremely knowlege on what they doing.
They are a treasure to keep!

email and website down again.

again one of our customers website and all their emails have gone down. I know problems happen but the response times of support are just getting worse. We've been waiting nearly 3 hours for a first response now. We aren't able to ignore our customers for that long as they have our phone number. Hostpresto no longer have a number to contact so we are just left hanging.

Hostpresto you told us that the move to the new control panel would bring a massive improvement to your services - we have sadly not experienced this improvement yet - any ideas how long it will take?

I don't have the time or capabilities needed to get my emails working well and so am really grateful to be with a company who can help me without sending me a link to an FAQ I can't understand.
