Great tech support
I've been with Calico for years, whom Hostworld purchased last year. The same Calico tech support staff are there for my websites account. Kirsty has always been great, solving IP, DNS, upgrade etc problems very quickly. Under Hostworld, there's some new ways to manage my interaction with them, but so far it's going just fine. I don't plan to change away from old-Calico-new-Hostworld.
The price I pay for the various services is very fair too.

Overall the system is usable
Overall the system is usable. But the links in mql5.com website are block for some reason. I have raised ticket in an attempt to resolve it but the technical support claims that they can access it. But in actual fact the webpage from that website is broken. The links may probably be blocked by some network settings somewhere on the backend.
I am actually quite disappointed that despite of the good network performance rating that Hostworld has, they could not even resolve this simple thing.

Regarding mql5.com - I'm afraid there's little we can do about not being able to access links from them. mql5.com are a competitor in VPS services used for trading so they seem to actively block our IPs as we're a competitor to them. I appreciate the frustration but the issue is with mql5.com not our service.
Thank you for your kind words about the network, although our inability to control mql5.com's systems should not be seen a reflection of our own service. We'd resolve it if we could!

SUPER FAST SERVICE
Hostworld have been absolutely fantastic in responding almost immediately to our requests. Having to deal with a third party supplier in a different time zone (who is providing support for us) and ask for assistance from Hostworld could have proven to be difficult time-wise however, their speedy action has enabled us to begin a project on time which is great. They are a really friendly team and super-helpful and I highly recommend them!

Excellent (first rate) technical support
Experiencing technical issues, my ISP Hostworld were contacted for help. Although the technical issue was found not to be related to Hostword, their technical support team went on to provide first rate assistance beyond the 'call of duty' in respect of the issue.

Exceptional service
I have a number of domains registered with Calico/Hostworld and wanted to do some major re-organising. Not only did Kirsty go out of her way to help and advise me how best to achieve what I wanted to do, but she did it so quickly. I registered my first domain with Calico in the year 2000 and over the years they have given me exceptional service. Over the years I have been asked to build and administer many websites and have always insisted that they are moved to Calico because I know from experience of their help and expertise which I greatly value. Thank you Kirsty and thank you Calico.

So far so good. I chose Hostworld for a batch of VPS web hosting accounts when my previous hosting provider let me down. I've been able to get all of them back up and running in just a few days and when required have found the technical support team quick, friendly, helpful and willing. It's early days but no reason to give less than 5 stars at this point.

Incredible value and Support
Apart form the incredible value of their VPS, their support was fantastic for a non technical person. Within a day manged to get Excel and a windows based program work. Cannot be more appreciative. Thank you

i purchased their service 13 oct 2024. ip they assigned me was not dedicated and even i can't access reddit. most of the website consider me as a bot. i asked them for refund on 26 oct. next day on 27 oct they email me and tell my refund will be in account within 4 to 5 days through which i was recharged. but after 3 weeks no refund in my account, moreover they blocked me and even i cant ask them about my refund delay. plz always read one star reviews bcs they are original ones.

This review does not provide the full context of the situation and misrepresents both our service and what actually transpired.
To clarify, all VPS services we provide come with a static or dedicated IP address. The reviewer’s assertion that this was not the case is incorrect.
Secondly, the customer first contacted us on October 28th, not on October 26th or 27th, as claimed. Furthermore, their initial email contained profanity. Their request to cancel and refund was processed within 30 minutes of receiving the support request, and they were informed that refunds to credit/debit cards can take up to 10 days to reach their bank account. This is an industry standard and beyond our control.
Lastly, regarding their account being "blocked"—their account was closed due to their abusive tone and for posting this defamatory and misleading review.
Easy set up of the VPS and excellent service overall.
Easy set up of the VPS and also a managed upgrade to better suit my needs.
Service has been excellent so I would be happy to recommend based upon my experience.

i brought their 2 gb ram service. the computers are just too slow. dont even work. i can even validate if its actaully the promised ram. the services are now as promised very unproffesional. and i can not even use remote desktop to access this vps because access to settings is blocked. it too useless. andi have not gotten a refund till yet-
