It was just a blatant upsell, rather than an easy registering of applicance. Having commissioned based staff dealing with it, is not a good experience.. couldn’t say no thank you enough times.

I was helped by speaking to a human…

I was helped by speaking to a human being. She explained every thing and was very helpful. Please do not have this service transferred to stupid AI. In fact I order my cooker by way of telephone. I was given very helpful advice and assistance with ordering my hotpoint cooker.

Extremely poor customer service please do not use them

I called to complain about the service provided. Spoken rudely to by staff. No active complaint service(im serious) false information provided totally contadicting the consumer rights act. I would like to add to this. Ive quoted to them the right to refuse act. They refuse to acknowledge this even though im asking them specifically for a new appliance or refund as the machine was delivered faulty and reported within a couple of days to them. Im well within the 28 days covered by the act. I am therefore stating publically and in writing that i would like a new appliance or a refund under the right to refuse act. I would like hotpoint to confirm in their response which they will never publically do, confirm what their process is in regard to replacing or refunding a purchase within 28 days of purchase. Despite me complaining about the 28 day team and the way their staff speak to people they referred me back to them refusing to acknowledge my request under the act. Ive now gad to open a case with trading standards.

Was not happy to register before appliance was delivered.

I was driving and had plans. Was expecting another important call so was not happy to answer the questions while driving as mentally not ready for it.

sales told me it will break

making me register an appliance is normal for warranty. phone number direct to an expectant sales pitch is unnecessary.
seems the sales girl made it sound like the product has no chance at all of lasting longer than 1 year, it will break in 13 months.
maybe so but not a great look for the product

Options/prices given by your employee were excessive, plus noise in background in the call centre.
I thought I lost the ‘will to live’ by the end of the call 😫

Awful experience

Awful experience ! They Change my day of repair then didn’t turn up , then unhelpful on the phone and idiotic and after that I tried to cancel my appointment numerous times and then they still came out , I told them I had cancelled it then went away then got il saying theyhadcompleted repair , total bunch of incompetent idiots and there online service total disgrace hope I never have to deal with them ever again ! I will not buy anything hotpoint again so I never have to deal with them !!!!!
