I am so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with this month's Pawsitively Pink Picnic box. Every month I put a lot of time and love into hand picking the box items to create a fun experience that you and your dog can not only look forward to, but also feel that you're getting great value too.
For us as a small business, the recent cost of living crisis has had a huge effect on the business and increased the prices of everything we source (from boxes to products etc). Despite this, I have kept the price of the subscription the same for current customers as it's important for me that you feel valued as members of the Hounds & Hers club.
The RRP value of the products is always over our monthly subscription cost, but more importantly, I take pride in the fact that customers feedback that their Hounds and Hers boxes are invaluable due to the fun, curated and themed experience we deliver- which is the highlight of their month and where the value in what we do is!
The March box was a bright and sunny welcome to Springtime and I feel gutted that it didn't feel like that for you. Especially to result in a low rating of our service on a whole.
I really hope that you are still excited to receive your April box and that you and Rupert love your Easter-themed goodies!

Amazing!
Myself and my dogs absolutely love our box every month. Each box is so different with its own theme which I love. I’m always trying to get a cute pic of the dogs with the box, but they get too excited as soon as they see their box. You can tell so much thought and love goes in to each box.

Fabulous as always!
Love the variety in the subscription boxes, always a refreshing mix of toys and treats for my dog as well as treats for me to to eat, drink and enjoy.
I have also bought gift boxes for Birthdays and other special occasions. They arrive beautifully presented with gift cards and always go down well.

A no go for allergies!
We loved getting a subscription box for both hooman and pup but this would not be my choice of subscription box again! Unfortunately I had no choice but to cancel this one. They stated to me at the beginning as I checked they cater for dogs with food allergies however this was not my experience. Every box seemed to come with treat items that included things she was allergic to. Even though a list had been sent of what she couldn’t have. I understand if they can’t cater for dogs with allergies but they said they could and definitely weren’t in our case! Then emails took over a week to be responded to as well so I asked them after many mistakes in our boxes if we needed to cancel, eventually they came back to us and said yes but because the response took so long my next subscription payment had been taken out. They said they would refund and I had to keep chasing for almost a month for it! I definitely won’t be back as it was such a hassle. I gave 2 stars rather than 1 as the items I received for myself were nice and so were the toys for my dog. They also posted us out something they had missed from one of our boxes on one occasion so that was good. I’m just saying if you or your pup have any allergies don’t go here! If you do make sure you check all the ingredients!

I've just looked into your previous orders and can see that you haven't had a Hounds & Hers box since November 2021. I am actually the new owner of Hounds & Hers and took over as of Spring 2022 so can only apologise for your previous experiences with us when you signed up and were told that Bella's allergies could be catered for.
Due to sourcing 6-8 products for the box each month, sourcing allergen friendly dog treats isn't always possible when a dog has numerous allergies- as much as we'd love to be able to cater for this! So when new customers sign up, we now recommend in our FAQs to email us directly in advance to ensure we can cater for each individual dog's needs and preferences. This should have been addressed much more efficiently with you, so I am really sorry that this was not handled in a timely manner.
However, I do feel it is slightly unfair to say that we cannot cater for human allergies as we have many gluten free, dairy free and vegan customers who love our boxes. I am gluten and dairy intolerant myself so I take this really seriously!
Therefore, this isn't a true reflection of your experience of our service and the tailored aspect we really try to provide for our customers.
