Founded by four architects in Copenhagen, our award-winning sets are crafted in Denmark using bio-based materials like cork, from the building blocks to the packaging. House 4 House sets are carefully made in Portugal from locally sourced, non-toxic materials and hold EU CE and UKCA certifications for children aged 3 years and up. Our House 4 House Tropical sets consist of 60 pieces that can be combined in countless ways. These sets feature five unique characters inspired by animals from tropical regions as well as plants pieces. Each set comes with a simple guide to teach kids about various building styles found in these climates. House 4 House Tropical can be found in stores like MUJI, Illum Copenhagen, and now, at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. We've been showcased at Dutch Design Week and MODA, and we were even longlisted for Dezeen's Product of the Year in 2022. We're proud to share that a third of our profits support families globally in upgrading their homes, making a meaningful impact on communities. So far, we've supported 18 projects across seven countries and counting.

Our 3-year-old received the tropical set as a birthday gift, which was really sweet. He likes how the pieces feel, and he's challenged trying to figure out different variations for the buildings. So far his favorite animal is definitely the giraffe.
We bought the Han the Human poster for our little one as she's currently too small for the full House 4 House Tropcial set. We look forward to putting it up on her bedroom wall :)
We love our house4house! My four year old spends hours creating different houses, zoos, towers etc. So great for open ended play. And we adults enjoy playing with it just as much, if not more!
Arrived speedily in time for my nieces who absolutely love it! It's a well made product with so much versatility that it has kept them occupied for hours at a time whilst also learning about the tropics. Highly recommended.

My kids (3&6yo) have been playing with the houses for a while now and they keep coming up with new configurations and make up stories and characters. As a parent it’s also a great tool to starts conversations about sustainability and climate change.

I bought a set for our 2 kids - 7 & 4 (one of each) - and I'm pleased to say they're still playing with it. It's well made, durable, a very well thought out design, and I like that it's teaching them about the real World. They've already come up with some innovative designs so far (as well as some rather wacky ones!). The animals are a nice touch. If they're still playing with it in 6 months I might get another set...
