David offers an exceptional service at House & Home Sitters Ltd. We had complete confidence in leaving our dogs under the care of his trusted sitter, Naomi, who was incredibly kind, caring, and professional. What impressed us the most was the effort that David and his sitters made to ensure our dogs felt comfortable and at home in our absence, providing them with reassuring care and attention. We had never used a house/pet sitter before and were a bit nervous about leaving our 2 dogs and cat but from the moment Adina walked through the door, we knew they would be safe and well cared for.
Adina was very calm and confident with our dogs (who are very lively despite the fact that they are getting on a bit). We were sent WhatsApp messages every day by Adina (at our request) and were able to relax knowing they were happy.
When we returned home, the house was very clean and tidy, probably cleaner than when we left it, and we would not hesitate to recommend Adina and House and Home Sitters to anyone looking for pet/house sitting services and we have already discussed booking Adina again through the company.

David runs a first-rate service. We like to have house sitters looking after our home whenever we go away, and David has provided us with charming people to do this.
Wendy and Hugh have looked after our house on a couple of occasions and this summer, Peter came.
All of the sitters have been genuinely lovely people. Wendy and Hugh are a great couple who take care of the house perfectly. Peter was amazing - both a very interesting person and also very organised! IN fact, when we came home, not only had he got some provisions in for us (very welcome after a long journey) but the house was immaculate - tidier than it has been all year!
I cannot recommend David and his company highly enough and would be delighted to see Wendy, Hugh or Peter in the future.

Dave was efficient in setting up the sit and replied promptly to any communication. Bernie was very easy to deal with before and during the sit.
Bernie coped well with the expected challenges of a young dog and an old dog and also with the unexpected challenges of a heatwave and an infestation of ants! He was very reassuring about everything, left the house clean and the dogs had clearly had a great time with him. Allowed us to have a holiday with no worries or hassles from home.

From the start Dave was so helpful and efficient. We needed a House Sitter at very short notice but have many animals needing care, dogs, cat, hens, ducks and a pony. Not to mention being rather remote. Dave came up with the ideal person, Paulina. She is charming and so capable and delightful. She coped with everything in our absence and all the animals were in great form on my return
On a second occasion Wendy and Hugh came to house sit and they too were excellent. Wendy and I had had a chat on the phone beforehand and I could explain how things work here, being a working farm there are different priorities here. They were wonderful with all the dogs and puss cat too, who can sometimes be very offhand. They were great with Dolly the pony and the chickens and they said they had really enjoyed being here which was good to hear. I would most definitely recommend them, and in fact they are booked to come here again in the New Year.
Dave and HHS do an excellent service, matching the right sitters to the clients and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. Far and away the best Agency I have ever used.

The process of booking a housesitter was straightforward and Dave was always happy to answer questions. Margaret, our sitter, was very experienced, reliable and reassuring - we had great confidence leaving our home and pet in her care. The house was well cared for and it was lovely to receive photos of Juno enjoying her walks each day.

Margaret has been fantastic looking after our home and rescue cat Martha. Martha is so timid , yet within an hour or so, Margaret sent a photo of Martha meeting her for the first time and we knew straight away that Martha was ok, enjoying a few Dreamies out of Margaret’s hand! Regular updates followed and we could just relax knowing all was well! On our return, Margaret had left our house immaculate.
Dave chooses the best people for the job of house sitting and it is worth everything for the peace of mind it brings us. Cannot recommend this company enough!!

Exceptional, Kind, Caring and Professional.

This is my second time using House & Home Sitters UK. The first time the service, support and care for my four animals was exceptional and this time did not disappoint. It was actually better as I was not even worried once and could thoroughly relax on holiday. We had the pleasure of having Sarah come and sit with our two dogs and cats. She kept us regularly updated with lovely photos of them which made us laugh. Sarah looked after my lovely garden and the hanging baskets look better than when I left them ! All in all an excellent service, I would not hesitate to recommend the company but you are not allowed Sarah, shes mine ! Ha ha x

Wow. What a professional, slick & superb operation Dave runs. IMO, the pet sitting world is full of unreliable, sketchy & flaky people... but not House & Home Sitters Ltd! From first port of contact there was reassurance, reliability & respect for you, your pets & your home. The attention to detail in the vetting & booking process - to get you a perfect match for your requirements - was superb. And we ended up with a lovely couple looking after a young puppy, geriatric cat & two stick insects just perfectly for a Summer holiday break. They sent lovely updates (not too many!) & clearly loved & looked after our pets - and our home. It meant we could go away & have a properly relaxing, happy time - safe in the knowledge the pets & house were safe & content. And coming home to a clean, tidy, well ordered home & happy pets after a long 500-mile, 11-hour drive was spot on. Highly recommended. Booked for next year already! David & Lynda, you are stars!

Reliable, cost efficient

We had new dog and house sitters for this trip away - Nick and Angela who were brilliant. Came home to happy, relaxed dogs and a lovely clean house. Updates while we were away, and I was confident all was in safe hands.

We have been away 3 times and on each occasion, Jen came to look after our cat. She did an absolutely fantastic job and our very nervous kitty took to her almost immediately, head butting Jens legs and sitting next to her on the sofa. Truly amazing when our cat so suspicious of everyone. And runs off!
Jen texted daily photos and we were reassured everything was completely fine back at home. On Jens 3rd assignment with us, our cat recognised Jen, and we could tell she wasn’t in the slightest bothered about us going away
Can’t recommend this company enough. Dave takes pains to find the perfect sitter, so that you can go on holiday worry free. And when we got back, Jen had cleaned the house and it was fab. Thank you.
