This is my second time ordering, premium quality

This is my second time ordering. The dresses are premium quality, very well made just like the pictures. No problem with delivery. I definitely will be ordering again and again. ( just needs to be more clear with sizing e.g. UK size 10= size S).

This place used to be a reputable…

This place used to be a reputable company but not anymore. They change their return policy and will stop replying to you via customer service. Just make sure you order what you will keep because they will not give you a refund or send you a label to send items back.

Shipped from a cheap china warehouse

I ordered 2 dresses, both in a S. I’m a size 6. It was to big & long. It was more of an 8.
I sent back & ordered another 2 dresses in a small & again they were huge. I was refunded a credit note, which is fine but they have no smaller sizes. How can I possibly shop here if their sizing doesn’t fit.
I then opted for a lovely looking leather jacket … it arrived literally peeling & rotting in its bag as if it had been stored in a Chinese warehouse for years. It was so noticeable I didn’t even have to open the bag, how nobody noticed this before sending it? … because it’s drop shipped from China.

I sent it back & they’re refusing to give me a refund. I understand the policy is a credit note but none of the clothes fit me & after the jacket I received I question the quality of their products.
Under trading standard laws, this is unlawful - policy or not.
Do not buy from this company

Ordered so many times from here and for…

Ordered so many times from here and for the first time ever need to return two out of the three, would have exchanged as soon as much I like. Only 7 days to return and sadly for personal reasons I wasn’t home
When it was delivered. By the time I was the time was exceeded. I messaged them as to see if they could offer an exchange still as I wasn’t looking for a refund

Has security tags and packaging yet they read my message and never replied! For a company like this the service doesn’t match the quality of clothing so from
Now on I won’t be buying again and recommending to anyone as I always do at wedding events ! £300 wasted

Rocky start but they rectified it!

The dress is beautiful and great quality but ordering with their size guide caused me a fair bit of stress as I ordered 10 as in all other retailers a 10 fits fine, I am busty so granted I had to up to 12 but the 12 still only just about fastened and made no difference, I then had to request a 14 which I have never been in my life so I would recommend some guiding for example “dress comes up small” like Charlotte Mills does on their site or to avoid issues doing tight corset dresses as lace-up, as the zip isn’t great. The 14 fits around my back and bust but is light loose on my waist but at least it doesn’t feel like I will burst out.

As a small business they have limited resources which I understand but it can be frustrating when a case is urgent, in my case it was for my wedding. Agatha in the end was very helpful and ensured I got a dress that fit so thank you. I probably would order again but I now know to go up a size or two on very fitted dresses. I will however say the dress is stunning and I know it will be a show stopper and next time I will order at least a month in advance.

I appreciate the help and also for putting up with me being a bridezilla and all the panic, I appreciate you went out of your usual process just to ensure I got my dress so I can’t thank you enough for that

This company is the worse

This company is the worse! that it can be and I do regret buying from this company. First of all the customer support or service is extremely rude, won’t help, avoid you and they will do everything to avoid refunding you the money back.

I have ordered two items one was a Bae'sics Killa Babe Black Hoodie & Joggers Velvet Loungewear Set priced at £50, which when I got it I was happy about it and it did looked really nice but after one day of wearing the tracksuit, the tracksuit released stains that were on my clothing, skin and my toilet seat.

When I emailed them about it and wanted my refund they replied me back by saying, that I need to send them back the tracksuit, so that they could do experiment on it, in order to proof that the stains do come from the tracksuit, couple days by no reply from them with what decision they made.

So I emailed them saying what decision they have made and that I want my refund, she replied me back saying that colour from tracksuit should be purple and not orange and that the stains could be from a TAN!!! I was completely shocked 😳 because I never used tan before,

as I did send her the photo of my arm saying, if that looks like my arm is tanned and then, I also told her that you just doing this purposely to avoid refunding me my money, she then marked me down for my rude behaviour, which I was only fighting for my customer rights and she added that she won’t accept it this kind of behaviour.

In case of there further studies that they done they decided to decline my refund, in which I was just so annoyed with them, that I told her what I think about the their behaviour toward customers, and that they have lost a customer, as I will never ever buy from their company again.

Unpleasant customer service

Unpleasant experience with customer service due poor dress design. Purchased a sale item agreeing for a store credit if I would change my mind about the dress. The dress arrived being unfit for intended use due poor design and quality.. requested for a refund instead of a store credit due disappointment of item received, as it wasn’t as described and have no further intention of buying from this company again, but this was refused and nothing but terrible treatment from the sales manager since received… I am already reported this company to Trading Standards and intending to take this to ombudsman due breach my Consumers Rights and an unacceptable behaviour received.

EDIT: after multiple back and forward emails and unpleasant communication, the sales manger finally agreed for a return and a full refund received.

poor customer service and processes

Placed an order and received a tracking notification
1 hour later I got an emails stating there was a stock discrepancy but didnt advise on the specific dress that was out of stock ?

I advised when I needed them for and they said that they could fullfill this by the time I needed them

I still havnt received them or any tracking details so far

I have tried to email , use the chat and had no response , I am so frustrated

My first time ordering and I am hugely disappointed

I wish I would of read the reviews before using this company

Update the day my dress should have arrived they have emailed a second time advising out of stock after telling me it would arrive

SCAM SCAM SCAM
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
CON ARTISTS OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL.

They advertise on their website that you can return items for a full refund, but then refuse to do so.

We bought non sale items, and tried to return within the time period they give you to do so.. yet now claim they reserve the right not take back returns.

We are now seeking legal help due to the costs being over £600.00

Check their trust pilot reviews, I have no idea how their Google reviews aren’t 0 stars.

I am so confused by the negative…

I am so confused by the negative reviews on here. I have been purchasing dresses from House of Maguie for the past 6 years and NEVER have I had an issue with returns and receiving refunds. And the quality of their dresses have always been top notch.
There was one dress that they were out of stock of and I had emailed pleading to let me know if they would have it in stock again and a week later they emailed me asking what size I was, and that they now have one available. As I was on holiday at the time, I asked if they could post it a little later so that I would be home to receive it, and they did. This is fantastic customer service in my opinion!
I will always and forever be a loyal customer and all these people leaving bad reviews must be confusing House of Maguie with a different establishment.

Bought a dress that by looks nothing…

Bought a dress that by looks nothing like on the picture. Very poor quality. The top part of the dress doesn’t work the way it supposed to, but just hang down as it’s too heavy. It’s just one big disappointment. I was completely shocked to find out that nowadays there’s a company with no customer service that does not issue refunds, but only exchanges or gives credit so you can purchase from them again. Worst company I’ve come across in a long time. By the way there’s nothing even half descent in the website that I would want so I just lost £100 for a dress that I woudnt wear even if it was free!

Absolutely amazing company

Absolutely amazing company. Bought a dress for my hen party unfortunately the zip arrived broken. But withing less than 24hrs of arrival the dress was returned and a replacement was on the way. Perfect thankyou. So happy 😄

AVOID

AVOID THIS BUSINESS - THE OWNER IS A SCAMMER!! SHE TREATS PEOPLE LIKE SLAVES, holding people from the morning till 4 pm to let them on 30-minute breaks when they worked over 8 hours. Not to mention she didn't pay me for my worked hours. I have reported her to the police.

They won’t refund your money,they give…

They won’t refund your money,they give you credit on their website for a year,if you don’t like any of their design then your money is gone.dress sizes are smaller than anywher else,i’m a size 10-12 uk and i had to order size large for the dress to fit me.the quality is moce but it’s a very tricky website and you have to pay for delivery and return.

POOR customer policy

POOR customer policy
Nice designs, but terrible customer policy.
No free returns, no refunds for sale items. Short return window ( 14 days since order DATE, which leaves you with roughly a week to receive and post back). If you are ordering and assuming that this is a standard customer policy store, this is not true. You have to be VERY careful, otherwise they'll take your money and you'll get a credit note with a year only to use. And there are not that many styles and sizes to choose from. I tried explaining this, and there was a solution to my situation ( I could ship back the dress that I kept with tags attached and re-purchased using credits), but their response was very rigid.
I regret ordering from this store, do not recommend.

Refunded less than i paid

I paid £294.99 for two items. I paid £6.99 postage. I then paid a further £6.99 to return the items recorded delivery. But yet they refund me £288!!!
The money isnt the issue the fact that they think its ok to keep my money when i have returned items!! What am i still paying for???

If every company did this we would all be out of pocket this is ridiculous and deceitful
