Very smooth experience. Was worried as fragile glass items were ordered but the packaging was perfectly safe. Fast dispatch and sufficient communication.

Paul had contacted me within an hour of placing an order to say there were delivery delays on certain items ( due to stock availability). I had paid for express delivery and this was fulfilled with the items that could be delivered. Next day arrival in fact. Well worth the fee.
Paul has been most helpful with the arrival of the remaining items ( after Christmas).
Invoice showed the necessary amendments and the agreement we had. Excellent customer service. You won’t be disappointed if you use them.

Started off on the actual Portmeirion website but it is rather poor and they don't sell all the items individually so I went to these guys, who have a better website and are cheaper.
They called me back after I placed my order as there was a delay on one item, which was lucky as I'd ordered the wrong thing, because the sizes are wrong on the actual Portmeirion website!
They were very patient, helped figure out what I actually needed, cancelled and refunded my order and I placed a correct one.

I was thrilled to find a free format text box on 'my basket' page for special messages. I'm disabled with health conditions, I ask that Post people don't put parcels on the ground, but ring wait and hand over cleanly. House of Portmeirion in large bold italics put a label on the box saying "Postie please note (in capitals) if no reply leave parcel in safe place and put note through the door, thank you". HOP ignored my request, attempted to overide delivery preferences in RM app, sign on my door etc. Not happy, will never use this seller again, and obviously can't recommend them. We waited in, RM Post person was superb, clean careful handover.

Fantastic customer service. I’d ordered more items of a discontinued product than they could fulfil. They phoned to advise and also say that one of the items has a slight mark so would be unsuitable as a gift if I still wanted it. I did as it was for personal use. I will definitely order from them again

Placed an order which arrived promptly and well packaged. However, slight issue with one of the products but no fault of HoP. Phoned and spoke with Paul who rectified matter immediately. Paul was extremely polite and courteous and a pleasure to deal with, a prime example of how customer service should be. Would give 10 stars if it was possible! Placed an order then received not only a phone call but also a text message from Paul to advise that some of my order may be delayed. Upon phoning House of Portmeirion back I was greeted by the man himself, Paul is such a lovely friendly helpful person. I received the delayed items as few days later which was brilliant as was advised it may take between 7-10 days. The items all came extremely well packaged with recyclable materials. Highly recommend House of Portmeirion - not only was their customer service prompt but I was also very pleased on recieving my order, including chinaware, that was well packed and will all wrapping made from recycled and recyclable materials. Very impressed by the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the company. Will look to them again for my homeware from now on!

I had a query about fitting a lid to an old storage jar. Paul spent time with me on the phone talking it through and suggested a solution, which turned out to work perfectly.

Then my order arrived quickly and safely packed.
