I have just started pet sitting a few months ago, after joining HouseSitMatch, and I'm thrilled to say that it's been an absolute pleasure to meet lovely people and take care of their adorable pets 🐶🐠😻 It's like being at home away from home with daily shared adventures 🐾☺️🐾 thank you Lamia for welcoming me with open arms and guiding me through this exciting new way of life, or should I say win🐾win experience 🌈

It was the first time I’ve ever used a pet/house sitter. I was very anxious, especially since it was for a very extensive period, 6 weeks abroad! Lamia was fantastic, very clear in providing information, helping with the process, and answering any sort of questions. I received a good number of applications, and the applicant I chose has been great. My dogs usually bark at any stranger, which is why I was so surprised to see that they calmed down and showed no signs of aggression or stress to this applicant just a few minutes after he arrived to my house for an introduction meeting. I returned after my vacation to a very clean and tidy house and two very happy dogs. I will absolutely repeat the process for the Christmas holidays!

This is my second pet sit with Housesitmatch. My first was in a small town in the south of France, and my second in Buckinghamshire, UK. Initially, I was mostly interested in spending time with the animals I was going to be looking after while traveling and working, but during my time I realised it was also a unique opportunity to visit places I hadn’t been to, test a new lifestyle away from the city and meet new people. Lamia is always there to help, and the members are thoroughly screened, making for a great community of both pet owners and sitters.

I had the most wonderful time caring for Molly, a beautiful, sweet, clever labrador in Chesham, UK. Molly was a joy to care for and she was affectionate, playful and loved her walks and ball throwing and tug-o-war. Chesham is a beautiful area with lovely fields for dog walking and Jan is kind and considerate and her cottage is lovely and comfortable. I look forward to a return sit in October 2023.

We are very impressed with the personal service. We have been in Greece for a week and we're very confident that our house and black lab Tilly would be well looked after. Sure enough, everything went very smoothly.
Lamia has been excellent at keeping in touch and it gives us a great peace of mind as we go away more often.
Highly recommended.

This was the first time I have used this company and it was a fantastic experience. I went abroad with my daughter for a week and the young couple who came to house sit our two little toy poodles were friendly, reliable, respectful and utterly superb generally. They arrived the evening before we departed and it had been a long drive for them but as our flight was early we needed them to come then. When we were away they sent me some gorgeous pictures of happy doggies which was so good to hear. They walked the dogs twice daily and even allowed them to sleep on their bed which was also a relief as they always sleep on my bed! One of the little dogs is nearly blind and needs eye drops 3 times daily and they did this happily as well as brushing their teeth daily. The doggies were in great health when we arrived home and I'm sure they enjoyed being with this couple. The house was clean for them but it was even cleaner when we arrived home and this was much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company again. The company owner also made the whole experience really personal and was in touch by phone from the outset. Had she not found anyone to do the sit in Bristol, where she has friends, she reassured me that she would do it herself! This was also very reassuring as I had booked the holiday.

My partner and I joined Housesit Match now nearly two years ago. In the meantime we have had the opportunity to visit several pet owners looking after their MUCH LOVED PETS. For 2023 we have been asked to come back for the 2nd time. This shows that we have gained trust and feel welcome. Lamia, who runs HouseSit Match, is a very professional person. I have been a sitter on Housesit Match for nearly three years now.
I have duck sat for 20 Indian runners and their babies in Hereford, cat sat for some gorgeous but crazy Burmese beauties in South Notts, Corgi sat in the most amazingly gorgeous farmhouse in Chesham and am about to Labrador sit over Easter.
I just wish I had more time available to sit for more people.
Every person has been so kind and helpful and they always leave the basics of food so there’s no immediate need for shopping.
There’s always a Teams meeting to get to know the owners and their animals and how they like their houses and pets to be looked after.
House sit Match have fabulous sits available.
I would recommend them to anyone.

Well it was my first housesit travelling solo ,but we people rock so I've been told. 🤣 The owner made me feel at ease ,and drove me around the areas. Malaga is a lovely place ,very lucky this week as sun is out.Looking after a friendly little dog and cat.i would recommend HouseSit match.to my friends very happy with there services.

My husband and I have been on 6 house sits using Housesit Match, and none have been a disappointment. Through this site we have met varied and interesting people, and explored areas in England and Spain, that we would not have had the opportunity to do before. Lamia is always at hand and very prompt to help with any queries. There is nothing more enjoyable than finding new walks with a furbaby as company, they are always such a joy. We appreciate the personal touch we feel when we hear how many of the homeowners are known to Lamia by name, it shows that she cares about people, which is a great asset. We will definitely continue to be members of this site.

I used HousesitMatch twice last year. The service they provide is superb, they assist with the setting up of your details and then with the advert.
The sitters have been brilliant and I was totally comfortable leaving my dogs and cat in their care

I'm a sitter on my second sit with Housesitmatch.com and so far, my experience has been incredibly positive. I’m currently looking after two of the sweetest dogs in the most amazing large country house west of London, UK. For me, it's easy to search and find opportunities. Sits are clearly displayed and it's easy to apply for them and to connect with homeowners to confirm if they are something I want to do. Unlike other bigger sites, housesitmatch still can offer a personal touch, I’ve found it easy to connect with the owner, Lamia if I have any questions and I have found her to be very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend joining if you want to experience the fun and adventure of house sitting!

We've been with HouseSit Match for about a year now and we've had nothing but positive experiences with it. Lamia, the website owner, is personable and communicative. When we started, she went out of her way to give us some great advice (as we were new to it) and ensured we had a great experience with it. She works hard to get a wide range of choices for the website and although we can't always make it abroad, there's been choices from the UK to a variety of places in Europe. My partner and I recently went housesitting in Budapest, Hungary, via HouseSit Match. This was our first petsitting trip and we chose this option as it is a more affordable way to travel with no accommodation costs.

HouseSit Match was great at connecting us with the homeowners and we were assigned with the first housesit we applied for! The security checks were thorough and very reassuring and we felt confident and safe petsitting this way. The HouseSit was lovely and we loved exploring Budapest, immersing ourselves in the culture. We will definitely be petsitting again soon with HouseSit Match, and definitely recommend this service.
