Below is a list of the Function keys and their assignments applicable to this model. F0. Lights on/off F1. Sound on/off F2. Double Horn 1 F3. Double Horn 2 F4. Single Horn F5. Guards whistle F6. Pantograph flash ‘noise’ – linked to Aux 1 for LED if required F7. Flange squeal F8. Air ‘tick’ F9. Carriage door slam F10. Compressor F11. Wheel/track ‘groan’ F12. Shunting mode. Press once and the loco moves slowly, press it again and you are back to normal control F13. Acceleration/Brake override. This function overrides the normal acceleration and braking settings. F14. Aux 1 F15. Aux 2 Other sounds have been installed which come on at random such as the brake squeal when stopping, compressor noise and air pressure release. All these things add to the effect of having the real thing in miniature running in front of you!
