Lots of excuses not to work with us
We were recommended HPS by our builders, but unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at the Portsmouth branch. We had to wait about 20 minutes despite having emailed to make an appointment, only to be told that there is a £50 charge per room for the CAD design, we needed mm measurements and not scale drawings, we wouldn't be able to make any choices as the designing takes hours and they wouldn't want to do the design because our builders may then put the order through at a different HPS branch. Basically a long list of excuses as to why he didn't want to help us. Very disappointed we weren't told any of this in advance as it would have saved us a trip with our severely disabled daughter.

Our showroom manager Shane is a very experienced installer of bathroom and tile products. He knows full well that your intention is to buy your bathrooms through your builder in Chichester, so he was trying to advise you that they may well sell other items/different brands that would fit differently. You have taken his knowledge as excuses…..that’s on you.
It takes around 2 hours to do a bathroom design, you wanted 4 bathrooms done i believe! And for Shane to take all the measurements from a scale drawing, adding more time!
We ask for a £50 deposit per cad design, which is refunded on purchasing a bathroom to get a commitment from our customers, so that we don’t do all the work but not get an order for it.
As for waiting 20 minutes, well that’s unfortunate! but i guess you didn’t stop to think that we are a busy business with real local people trying their best to earn a living.
