We found Head Quarters online, having been messed about by a clinic near Swansea.
My partner Wendy underwent PRP/Mesotherapy treatments over three sessions, and the results were astonishing! The three sessions were six weeks apart, and progress can be measured by the fact that after the first session, Wendy left conscious of the fact that she was unable to wear her hairpiece for the journey home, to attending six weeks later without needing it!
The results have literally been life-changing, and we can't thank the staff at Head Quarters enough.
The staff do all they can to make you feel welcome, and reassure you by talking you through what will happen.
Yes, you can feel the needle pricks (so I am told!), but a little discomfort is worth it for the results.

My experience with HQ Hair Transplants has been phenomenal from start to finish. From the initial consultation to surgery day and every follow-up appointment, the team has been consistently professional and supportive.

The results of my hair transplant have been truly life-changing. Dr Frances and Dr Egan performed my surgery, and are extremely skilled at their work, and my new hairline looks incredibly natural and dense.

Overall, I want to extend a massive thank-you to the entire team, and I would recommend HQ to anyone considering a hair transplant in the future.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The whole team from my very first contact with Richard were simply superb and they went above and beyond in every way. They were very understanding when I could not attend my original appointment and genuinely cared about me as a client, arranging a second date for my procedure, essentially at a loss to them within a month. Communication was brilliant and the procedure and day there was a relaxed and stress free experience with an amazing team of people looking after me. I'd like to say a special thanks to Dr Shah, Mel, Bolu, Crystal and Carys who are highly skilled, friendly and made the day run so smoothly. The aftercare is second to none and I have had previous experience with a transplant clinic, The Westminster Clinic in Harley Street, London to be precise. They took the payment, did a very shoddy job and then sent me out the door with no instructions for after care, sleeping advice and even wearing a baseball cap less the 30 mins after my procedure. If you want the best it simply has to be headquarters and the prices are incredible for the service you receive. Outstanding, professional service from start to finish. Been a life changing 12 months, having reached a low point in life, this service and procedure has really help restore my confidence. Excellent care throughout the process, not just taking the money and leaving you to it. Even the shampoo recommended has made a huge difference to the non transplanted areas. Who’d of thought my favourite rugby player as a kid would be in- future , sorting out my lid haha 😝

Recently had hair transplant surgery here, had 3,000 grafts on the front third of my head. Great experience all the way through from initial consultation, meeting with the surgeon, the surgery itself and the aftercare.
Top level quality and very reasonably priced for the high standard of care/treatment given by HQ in Cardiff.
My biggest worry was the surgery day itself, but I have to say it really was a breeze.
The surgeon was very attentive and made sure my head was numb so I barely felt a thing (I even fell asleep during some parts of it!) and the team supporting the surgeon were all great too. I felt I was in good hands.
I was given as much food, drinks & snacks as I wanted and you can take plenty of breaks throughout the surgery too. They even have a big TV with Netflix etc too. So the day actually went quite quickly.
Over the next week my head has recovered really well, to the point where you can’t even see where they took the hair grafts from (I had FUE surgery). I think this is partly due to the level of quality and care by the surgeon and team during the surgery itself, which I think makes a big difference for recovery.
I’m also really happy with my new hairline, there was a huge attention to detail and artistry to make it look both natural and suit my particular head/face. I’m sure it’s going to be a huge difference once the new hairs grow over the coming months!

Really happy with the results!

I had my hair transplant in August 2024. Dr Matt, made it clear what results I could achieve. Unfortunately, my donor area wasn't good enough (my hair is too sparse), so I was not able to increase my hairline, instead the gaps in my crown and top were filled. In hindsight, this was the correct thing to do, at the front there is a good mix of natural and donor hair, so it does not look like I've had a transplant!

For the procedure itself, the only pain I felt was getting the anesthetic put in. I was well fed and the procedure lasted around 8 hours.

Sleeping was the hardest part, it's awkward sleeping upright and if you go too long without the pain relief, the pain does come back.

I'm very happy with the results, nobody can tell I've had a hair transplant. The only person that has was about 4 months ago, when I had a new barber cut my hair, he saw the donor scars close up and asked.

Ever since I noticed my hairline receding at 15, getting a hair transplant had been on my mind. Fast-forward to age 32, I finally decided to bite the bullet, and choosing HQ Hair Transplants was the best decision I could have made.

From the very first consultation, the team were professional, caring, and genuinely invested in my journey. Great aftercare with HQ. I had my 12 month consultation recently (which followed 3 and 6 month consultations) and Richard was very thorough and gave great advice on how I was doing and what things I can do.
I have begun a course of Mesotherapy and much like the transplant procedure itself, the staff were so friendly and professional and made the experience comfortable.
Shout out as well for Phoebe and Lindsey on reception. They do an awesome job!

I posted a review back in October after my procedure with HQ Hair Transplants in Cardiff, and and I've just hit the 12 month mark.

I had 2,953 grafts with Dr. Matt Egan, who was based at HQ at the time, and overall I’m really pleased with the results. My hairline looks natural, the density is solid, and I feel much more confident both in person and in photos.

The team at HQ have been friendly and professional throughout. The surgery day was relaxed and well-handled, and I appreciated being able to return for aftercare and check-ins. At my recent 12-month follow-up with Richard, I was told there’s potentially still another 5% of growth to come, which is a nice bonus. He's also been helpful in recommending products like which shampoo to use, etc.

I’ve also been consistent with aftercare, using minoxidil and finasteride, which I think has made a difference in maintaining and improving the result.

All in all, I’m really happy with how it’s turned out, and glad I chose to go ahead with it.
