If I could would give them zero star!!!

If I could would give them zero star! Worst customer service :( Call to ask abt their Mooncake Promo and they did not inform me proper mechanism and I ended up charging $7k for nothing. They said cant grant me my gift because I did not charge 10times?! If your CS would have given me proper advise there should not be any miss understanding. Asked for Manager call back also did'nt call me back for a week. Its ok... I done with HSBC!!! You just lost a good pay customer. Extremely frustrated and super angry as they were not able to resolve this matter amicably. Lousy bank :((( You took me on but you dont know how to keep me!

How do i rate it zero

How do i rate it zero?

They text me to lower my credit limit to something so miserable. And if i needed clarification i could call them, I call them and they cant give me an explanation. Apparently it’s private and confidential… to?? This is my own credit card and they cannot tell me why? Yet they cannot produce a single incident that i did not pay on time. Still baffled, but I will be getting rid of the card and never dealing with this bank again. Ever.

The worst bank I had to deal with

lets stop using HSBC singapore which is renowned for unfriendly and troubled inefficient services!!!
I have opened an account in Singapore HSBC on the January 2021.Then I started to use their services; But I found that their services were not customer friendly nor efficient at all..Then all of a sudden I got a letter on the 11th April 2022 from them as follows:
“we are sorry but we are going to close your account’
We conduct periodic reviews of customers account relationship with us.As an outcome of such reviews. We withdraw certain products or services or close accounts that do not meet our strategic criteria.
Following an in-depth review of your account, we are sorry to tell you that we can no longer provide you with banking services. This is accordance with Clause 14 of the terms and conditions Governing personal Deposit Accounts,…….”
As you can see above the customers will always of risks not being able to meet their strategic criteria;therefore the bank can be sorry anytime to close your account!! Please consider this carefully; you might meet the same fate just like me if you co-operate with this bank;If you still co-operate with this bank’ better to stop it and not to use this bank..Lets stop co-operting with this bank;especially our Singaporean Fellows and others at any other parts of the world; Please re-consider your situation if you still hold account in this bank, you might encounter the same situation anytime..lets act together and choose other banksto co-operate;lets stop together using HSBC Singapore…I am so sure there are many other better banks in Singapore;please go for them…Don’t risk yourself with HSBC Singapore
They even have Clause 14 of the terms and Conditions which allow them to cease their services for you..Please find better one..lets act together not to legitimize the banks non-friendly services for the people..lets stop using HSBC singapore which is renowned for unfriendly and troubled inefficient services!!!
Just review it in truspilot:You will see how bad the HSBC Singapore continue to serve....
The worst bank I had to deal with. Aside from terrible and outdated service policies, They can terminate your account anytime without revealing the reason. They just terminated the account Risky!!..awful services, nor safe not secure!!!. I know most banks have a reputation for fraud but I can affirm this one is the best one of a kind.
HSBC has a global network; If they terminate the customer s account in one country then another Hsbc country can also terminate the account without any reason suddenly..Hsbc SINGAPORE doesnt serve well.Their services are really bad..In SINGAPORE, there are so many better banks that Singaporean fellows and others can opt to use..Stay away from this bank!!..Risky services and awful customer polices!!!!
They give so much troubles to the customers with their service manner and policies..It is inconvenient and inefficient bank!!!Dont co-operate!!!! STAY AWAY

Worst bank in SG

If you have a loan or credit card from HSBC, welcome to a world of pain. Getting a call to customer service will take minimum 30 minutes. They won't resolve your issues or give you wrong information that will make you make multiple calls and waits. Zero star.

HSBC SG is the worst bank I ever had

HSBC Singapore is the worst bank I ever had to work with. This is coming from someone who had accounts with 3 different French banks and 2 different UK banks over the course of 15 years.

Their website and app login process is horrendous. Their Customer Service is extremely slow to respond. As I am writing this review, I have been on hold for 35min already.

You ask for personal details to be changed, you do everything correctly online, you receive a text message saying it will take 1 business day to change it.... and 5 months after you realise that it was never changed!
This is so dangerous!

They also lie about not taking commissions on transferring money internationally.

If you can, absolutely avoid HSBC Singapore.

Poor customer service from HSBC

Yes, another bad experience... HSBC online 'Chat' customer service is dismal. Waited for 20 mins with no interim update and gave up. Now need to use good old fashioned 'account closure form' in the post!!

One of the worst Customer Service…

One of the worst Customer Service hotlines ever! On hold for more than 20min each time till we give up. What if we have urgent fraud issues to report ? Or a stolen card?? As I write this review, I am on hold for 18 mins and counting and this is my 5th time calling in 4 days. I need help and I can’t get it on HSBC hotline. They should learn from their counterparts such as UOB/DBS who answer in less than 3mins !

Writing for HSBC UK

Writing for HSBC UK. Slowest and hopeless. Worst experience I ever had in my life. Basic international transaction pending for almost 14 days now. Complaint I logged week ago, totally ignored. Nobody even contacted me. It’s impossible to get through them via phone. Waiting time beyond human believe. Called 3 times - hopeless, 90 mins waiting time and never connected with any human agent. Tried on-line, agent just stopped conversation…. Case never resolved. Shame HSBC - will move to another bank ASAP now.

HSBC BANK LOUSY SERVICES!

Slowest bank or totally hopeless bank ever.
Card application information of mine totally gone. Apply my card through Moneysmart. Called HSBC Bank Singapore hotline 4 times. Apply my application on 16 January 2022.

First operator checked my application status said is processing in the backend as he couldn't see my application details due to he doesn't have permission to access. And it's also due to the good promotion on going it takes longer with the process. (1 week ago)

Second operator told me can't find my application will contact the backend and get back to me. The following week never follow up. (1 week 3 days later)

Third operator told me she will check with the back end told me to wait awhile to clarify and what is even better she hang up my phone. (2 weeks later)

Fourth operator told me she can't find my application status registered at all. Ask me check my email for the application status if I have receive an email. (2 weeks later)

In the first place my application hasn't crossed how do I even receive a email status?

Seriously it just waste of time to apply or support HSBC Bank with this kind of services by can't resolving customer request.

My debit card has been blocked on…

My debit card has been blocked on several occasions, and I have only discovered this over the weekend when they are closed. Because the relevant department was closed, I had to wait until Monday to contact them. My account was under investigation for an unclear reason, and the relevant department refused to speak with me. So I'm out of money for the time being and will have to wait until the inquiry is over, which may take months.

not recommended

swapped to get an incentive payment but soon swapped again. The most complicated bank ever to log on to desktop you have to have app on phone and use both. have to verify payments a million times, all in all very time consuming. customer services very patronising. definitely do not recommend.

Hard work, do not bother

I have just come off the telephone having tried to converse with the HSBC staff for over an hour. They offered me a bribe of £140 to open a bank account with them, it seemed simple enough. Since receiving a rain forest of paper work on the 18 August, it seems they failed to send me a telephone pin number, I have telephoned them repeatedly concerning this iseeu and have been repeatedly told to wait 3 days more. Today 2 September I telephoned again, only to be held up in their queue as they are amazingly receiving an unprecedented number of telephone calls at present, only to find that I could set up this telephone pin over the telephone. The lady I spoke to told me she would transfer me to an automated service and then I would be re connected with her. Having set up the pin number I found myself back in the automated queuing system once again. The second heavily accented person I spoke with eventually understood my concerns and agreed to help me to register for online banking. Having entered the necessary details I received a message online that
"Sorry we are unable to action your request because your account is closed. Please contact us on 03457 404 404 quoting E07."
After another long delay I was told that perhaps some suspicious behaviour was detected concerning this account so the account is actually open but I can't access it. I eventually asked for the account to be closed, after being repeatedly asked time after time if I want to close this account I managed to convince this guy that I do not have enough life left on this planet to constantly keep telephoning the HSBC tying to open a bank account.
I advise you to stay clear of this bank, you will have to work hard to open an account with them and personally there are easier ways to earn the £140.
I remember some years ago trying to open an account with them when you where expected to visit their branch to have an interview during which you had to list what you spent your money on?? Toilet paper, soap, beer, baked beans, petrol etc. Frankly this company employs staff who come from a different planet, for your own wellbeing just stay away.

Credit card section failed miserably

Credit card section failed miserably, providing incorrect information regarding my GIRO application, claiming it was not received but it did when I checked with my paying bank. Not knowledgeable staff or simply do not care. BAD experiences.
