HSL Chairs - Brighton Reviews 

Visited Hove branch today to look at a particular chair that I’d seen online. Clare was great. Very friendly and helpful and gave me honest advice. The chair I wanted wasn’t suited to me and she helped me choose another which is much more comfortable. Although the chairs are higher priced than others they are made in Britain and very good quality. The customer service I was given also makes the price worth it. I might have ordered something online and regretted my decision but now looking forward to receiving a chair that will ensure my comfort.
Lovely, relaxed atmosphere in the showroom and Wilson dog enjoyed his biscuit treat too! Thank you Clare (and Megan)

I visited the Branch in Newtown Road, Hove.
I dealt with Clare and Kerry and cant praise them enough. The service I received by both of these ladies was fantastic. I left after buying 2 sofas that are exactly what I wanted. I cant wait till they are delivered and I hope the rest of the service that I receive from HSL is as good. A definite 5 star

We felt welcome when we arrived and Megan went through the range of 2 seater. sofas, the available colours and gave us a quote there was no rush

We visited the Brighton &Hove HSL store 6 days ago having already been given some helpful information on depth and height of sofas as well as fabrics and protection product the week before.
Having further measured out our sitting room felt satisfied that what we would order would fit our room without overcrowding it.
Ordering the furniture was easy with Megan and we were not rushed in anyway.

Very good and helpful service at Brighton & Hove store by Clare. Delivery of my chair was quick and efficient, and I am now sitting very comfortably, thank you! Highly recommended.

Staff in the shop friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Office staff friendly and helpful. Delivery arrangements went smoothly, with friendly delivery staff who were happy to bring the furniture up to our fifth floor flat. Unfortunately the sofa arrived with
damage to a corner of its back - bent metal, together with a loosened fixing spike, and a tear in the fabric. . My husband and I managed to make a satisfactory repair that same day with a hammer and a needle and thread, but even so we reported the damage to the office. We've been reassured that should our own repair fail at a later date, a technician would visit at no charge, to make a further repair. All in all we would recommend HSL.

I took my elderly mum to the Hove branch of HSL today to purchase a sofa and armchair that mum had already researched and seen advertised. We were greeted by Megan, the store manager, who was extremely welcoming and informative without being pushy or trying to do "the hard sell" . Megan was respectful throughout and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the products. What could have been a stressful process was a pleasurable stress free one and this was due to Megan's kindness and excellent treatment of us both. I highly recommend visiting the store as it was clean and spacious with a large range of furniture. Good customer service these days is unfortunately rare, however Megan restored my faith that it does still exist. Thank you!

We visited the Brighton store today and were greeted by Megan who welcomed us with her friendly manner. My mother had researched the chair that she was interested in but Megan took time explaining how she may need one that fitted her height to ensure premium comfort. She spent time with us but we didn’t feel pressured into buying anything at all. Mum bought a Sinatra chair and appreciated the workmanship and build of this chair and we chose the material that suited mums lounge . Mum then looked at the beds and Megan helped her to choose the right bed for her . The whole experience was fun , helpful and we felt very comfortable selecting our choices. The store was clean and we enjoyed a nice coffee and biscuit while we completed the paperwork. Thank you Megan for all your help today

Excellent customer service Hove site

Great service from Megan. No pressure to buy, just an opportunity to try (and re-try) as many chairs as we wanted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Lots of good advice and no upselling. We even got coffee, biscuits and Tunnock's tea-cakes.

Highly delighted with my new HSL chair. So comfortable and can already feel the support it is giving to my painful back. The whole process was easy, from buying my chair from an extremely helpful store assistant, to the delivery just 6 weeks later. I got regular updates about my delivery, and a phone call from the driver half an hour before arrival. The two men who delivered my chair were courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend HSL.

Good service at the HSL furniture outlet very attentive and knowledgeable about the furniture I was interested in. Every detail was explained concerning upkeep of the fabric and the longevity. I tried out various armchairs to get the correct fit and comfort.

The team were really welcoming and helpful to help us find our dream sofa, with cushions and an ottoman. Kerry in particular was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable in helping me and my wife. Thanks Kerry!
