HSL Chairs - Glasgow Reviews 

A very good experience today at HSL. This was our second visit and both times Marlene looked after us. She was knowledgeable, friendly and knew her stuff. Mum has dementia and Marlene was very patient and took her time with explaining her different options. Thankyou Marlene... would highly recommend

It was a great personal experience where the staff took their time to understand what I was looking for and share their knowledge which helped me select the right chair. They went over and above checking that I was happy with everything and giving me refreshments and allowing me time to make a decision. I would highly recommend the Glasgow store and the staff there, especially Marlene

Be very careful when buying Giuseppe Nicoletti furniture from HSL. This is my experience with HSL re the delivery of a G Nicoletti sofa that could not be fitted through my doors despite having a standard size. I've previously taken delivery of two large sofas, a fully boxed and assembled Wren kitchen and a super king bed without any issues! Apparently, this is an issue HSL are aware of. These sofas are made in Italy. Begs the question. Are they only suited for an Italian standard door size? There was lack of communication about measuring access. I feel completely let down by HSL customer service, which offered limited solutions and did not take responsibility for the delivery issue. 'Solutions' offered were, reselect a sofa but HSL keeps 30% of my money or get a refund less 30% of what was paid. (£1160). There was no responsibility or interest shown in the situation HSL left us in. We're now in a situation where the front window will have to be taken out in order to get the sofa in!!!! I asked HSL, given the circumstances, if they would pay for this. I was met with a resounding NO! No understanding. empathy or kindness was shown. They put their policies above the needs of the customer. We should all expect good customer service, but the real measure of a company's service is how they respond when things go wrong or situations like this arise. There's a real discrepancy between HSL's claimed commitment to customer service and the reality of my experience.
The Glasgow store staff have been fine, and fully agree that I've been treated poorly.

The women at HSL Great Western road today have been quite simply amazing!
I broke down outside the shop and had to wait with my elderly mother for the AA. Marlene and Natasha went above and beyond to help me . They welcomed us in along with my wee dog Riley and gave us a coffee and a lovely warm environment to wait in whilst sorting out the car issue.
They quite literally came to my rescue. I cannot thank them enough.
Lovely staff , so kind and helpful in such a beautiful shop.
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know them both as we had to wait a wee while before the AA turned up .

Amazing Service !

Successful delivery of my fabric by a careful and courteous young man. It was meant to come last week at the same time as my chair but was found to be missing.

Both members of staff that helped us were very friendly and professional. Our questions were dealt with politely and patiently. A query regarding delivery was sorted by the following morning.

The helpfulness of the staff. Natasha in the Glasgow store was extremely helpful and informative in dealing initially with my phone call and advice based on our previous purchase of a chair for my mother in law and subsequently with my visit to the store to complete my order.

The chair was of a very high quality and easy to use. I have no hesitation in recommending HSL.

Arrived at HSL Glasgow to get a new comfortable chair.
The assistant, Natasha, was very friendly and knowledgeable as she showed me several chairs which would suit me.
After coffee and biscuits I made my choice and completed the transaction for my new chair.
All in all, a worthwhile visit.

The store assistant, Natasha, was very attentive and thorough throughout my shopping experience. She explained the proper fitting procedure for the rise and recliner chairs. Natasha also explained the costings and associated warranties etc.

Just had our new chairs delivered. The delivery guys were great and had the chairs assembled in no time.
The furniture was delivered on time and the guys kept in touch to ensure that we would be in when they arrived.

Excellent company. Welcomed into showroom. Explained that I wanted a riser recliner chair. Brought round to collection and sat on one suggested. I was happy with it but salesman suggested I tried another. It was perfect! Chose colour. Gave order. I was offered refreshments and I asked for water. Delivered as though it were a good restaurant. All staff friendly and chatty. Looking forward to chair arriving.

We found Joanne the sales lady very helpful who demonstrated how the chairs worked and the controls which we were unsure of. We were very happy with the attention we received.

I had 48 hours to change my mind about my choices which I did twice. Staff very helpful & patient

Attended at Glasgow shop with my 80yr old mother in law for a new bed . Was met by Natasha who looked after us. She discussed a full range of products and their suitability for my mother in laws needs. This support allowed my mother in law to make an informed decision as to what bed and mattress was for her. Natasha explained options for payment and while she discussed the purchase with us we were offered and accepted tea and water as well as a selection of biscuits . All in all it was a pleasant non stressful experience. We were well looked after by a knowledgeable employee who is a credit to HSL.

Natasha at the HSL Glasgow store, was friendly and patient when it came to explaining all the options available whilst we were looking to purchase a riser recliner for my mum. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into buying and were able to spend time in the store for my mum to try out the chair to make a decision as to if she was comfortable in it. We were treated to coffee and biscuits while we waited, which is a lovely touch when making such a significant purchase, can’t fault the customer service in this store! Would highly recommend this store and all its staff.
