Good sales representative made everything clear.

The store is beautifully set out. Greeted at the door by Kevin and was shown around. Kevin explained to my 92 year old Dad about the chair and how it worked. My dad ended up buying a three piece suite (we only went to look). Excellent service, thank you.

Such a lovely experience, okay we were there to buy but nothing was too much trouble. The addition of a baby did not ruffle anyone's feathers. The knowledge of the assistant was excellent. After considerable discussion a decision was made. We could not have been looked after any better.

Kevin at the Henley showroom was great.Polite, friendly & very knowledgeable of the chairs we were trying & offered advice when called for.We were pleased to purchase 2 dual motor recliner chairs in the Aysgarth range.petite & grande....so comfy.

We visited the Henley-on-Thames store about ten days ago to choose two new recliner chairs to replace an ageing settee. Kevin was very helpful, showing us the chairs we were interested in and offering a lot of information. We made some initial decisions and requested leather samples which were sent promptly by post.
We returned to the store having made up our minds over the colour and the style of the bases and Kevin placed the order quickly. Looking forward to our new chairs.

Received phone call confirming delivery time. Martin and Leon set up the chair quickly and effectively. Very pleased with the fireside chair.

Absolutely amazing company. Needed a reclining chair very rapidly. Visited the store in Henley where everybody was extremely kind and there was a wide range of chairs. The decision was made very quickly with the help of Kevin.

The chair was delivered within three working days by Martin and Leon. It was assembled easily and all the instructions given. An extra touch was the addition of cleaning products for the chair.

I slept in the chair overnight and it was the best sleep I've had in three months. Thank you, everybody at HSL. What a professional group of people.

My wife and I visited the Henley-on-Thames store on 21st July 2025. We had already done our homework with other stores also selling recliner chairs. From first entering HSL Henley, the aura was professional with Quality goods in settings very well displayed. Having worked in the trade on sales, gave me the edge over an average customer. I disclosed this to Katherine who welcomed the challenge. I sat back and let Katharine do her Pitch. Katharine went into detail gathering information on our needs, specially to my wife who required particular consideration regarding her health and comfort needs plus measurements, but within our budget. Taking all this on board we decided on a Ripley Powered Recliner and a Ripley Manual Recliner both covered in Pisa-Zinc fabric with Natural Oak Knuckles. The deal finally struck I am pleased to say was within budget-just. We took delivery today Thursday 28 August. the two chaps phoned in advance, were on time, again totally professional, installed, and explained the working details of the chairs and removed all packaging. All together a great shopping experience, we will certainly visit the store again, and would recommend HSL to anyone. Thank you all.

Absolutely excellent from the lady who dealt with in an honest knowledgeable way listening to our needs(sorry can’t remember her name in Henley). Delivery was sooner than expected and on the day both Martin and Jack could not be more friendly and helpful. Excellent customer focus from start to finish. We needed chairs to cater for our needs now that we are older. Ordered a catalogue to look at then visited the store in Henley. Good choice of chairs to try and fabrics to choose from. Samples available to take home. Staff very patient and helpful.

Great service from start to finish! The chap in the shop was extremely helpful and patient ensuring mum got exactly what she wanted/needed. The delivery guys let me know 20 before arrival so that I could get to mums before delivery. They were really friendly and explained everything so mum felt totally comfortable. Would highly recommend

Went to Henley branch. Easy to find - easy parking. Staff very welcoming - knowledgeable - showing all products available. Very quick delivery slot - good communication from Conor and Ashtor delivery lads. Good instructions from Conor and also quick assembly of chair. Good experience
