HSL Blaydon. Looking for a riser recliner and our first port of call was HSL. The staff were very polite and unobtrusive, we were left to look at all the range and settled on a chair. We were shown different aspects and colour swatches of the chair I had chosen and sorted out everything in a short time. The chair was going to be about 5 weeks max but we actually received it in around 3 weeks. Thank you to Paul and Paul who came and delivered the chair and set it up. Can't thank the company enough. A pleasure from start to finish, thank you.

My Mother was assisted by Charlie, he was professional, polite, patient and understanding. He was extremely knowledgeable. We waited 6 weeks for delivery which was well within given perameter. Both chairs were well worth waiting for, (made in the UK) and delivered by Terry and Paul whom were also very helpful. Would highly recommend this company.

With old age two aspects of life have begun to annoy me. Shopping and accepting that I am getting old. Tuesday combined both. I was taken by my wife to look at rise and recline chairs. Your member of staff, Alison, at your Newcastle upon Tyne shop, calmly , efficiently and with great understanding demolished all my barriers and I wait the arrival of my new rise and recline chair.

Sales lady well informed on options to fit our needs and was constructive in terms of assisting us to choose the chair selected.Good sales technique without pressure normally associated with this kind of purchase.

Craig and Jed delivered our new 3 piece suite this morning from HSL. They arrived exactly on time and were very polite and took great care in delivering the suite placing each item where we wanted it in the room. They were very respectful of our property. Thank you to them both.

Two riser recliners and a 3 seated sofa delivered and installed by Gordon and Shane today.
Arrived in early part of previously advised time slot and received telephone call/text when they were soon to arrive.
They were extremely careful in bringing parts into house and room.
Gordon was very helpful in showing me how chairs and sofa parts were assembled (for any future moving) and when furniture was completely assembled gave full demonstration of operation and battery charging.
Altogether excellent and efficient service ( from arriving to leaving some 30 mins).
Extremely pleased with quality of furniture and installation service.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Just had Carl and Damion deliver my chair and sofa they were polite and efficient,and took the time to show me how everything fitted together and worked.Lovely lads thanks Dianne

What made the experience great? Simply the staff. Amanda spent almost two hours with me as I tried to decide which pieces of furniture to choose. There was no pressure and in fact left me and my sister alone (with tea and biscuits) so we could discuss things quietly. Once I had decided she went though everything calmly and professionally to ensure I knew what I had ordered. Thank you for a very pleasant morning.

Local shop helpful and customer services nationally rang back when they said they would. Expedited order quickly and efficiently.

New Ercol sofa and chair delivered today. Craig and Jed did an fantastic job putting everything together… 2 professional, courtesy and helpful gentlemen. Thank you them and the staff at the HSL Newcastle store for making the whole experience stress free from sales to delivery.

On arrival at the Newcastle store we where greeted by Alison in a very pleasant fashion and she asked us what exactly we where interested in....She explained the variety of chairs on display and invited us to browse and try at our leisure.We where offered tea and coffee during our visit on a number of times.
We found Alison to be very informative about all the chairs that we considered and her experience helped us choose our preferred chair.
We found the whole experience very relaxed and credit to Alison for her attitude to us as returning customers and a nice suprise of tea and biscuits to take home.
Alison also explained to us that our chair previously purchased 4 years ago which had developed a minor mechanical fault was still under guarantee.

Paul D and Jon arrived on the time they gave me and was so pleasant and excellent did what they had to do to my new chair and went on their way.
