Great service from store in Shirley, Solihull ; we placed an order 7 weeks ago and delivery was on time (“6-8 weeks”)

Our 2 modern recliners (2 seater settee plus armchair) were delivered today
Impressed with delivery and set up service - both delivery men (Carl F & Lee R) were polite, careful, efficient and courteous
We are absolutely delighted with our new furniture ! Both items are beautifully made, extremely comfortable and supportive and enhance the ambience of our living room,
[They are a vast improvement on our traditional recliners which we replaced: they were neither particularly comfortable nor attractive and happily our living room no longer resembles a residential home !]

Just one slight grumble - the arm covers
(an optional extra) are a bit skimpy and the material doesn’t cover the entire internal depth of the arms as did those on our previous recliners

My whole experience with HSL was amazing . …. From the wonderful lady at the shop in Solihull to the guys who delivered my chair. I would highly recommend the company to anyone. Your employees go the extra mile

Staff at HSL Solihull were brilliant from start of process to delivery. Michael Prabs, Vickie and Rachel were friendly professional and knowledgable.

The removal company AnyJunk took away the old chairs the day before our new chairs were arriving - that went smoothly too. All in all very very happy customers.

We had our Bramham furniture back in February and our experience with staff at both Shirley & Henley in Arden was excellent. We are thoroughly enjoying the comfort and fit of the recliner 3 seater sofa and a chair for my husband who is a bit taller than me. We also had a fixed two seater sofa. We went for a plain light colour so we do cover them with throws to keep them pristine. We fold them when not in use and use them as extra styling draped over the back of the seating. The addition of the heat and headrest on the sofa makes it extra comfortable and cosy. Feel like you’re getting a hug. Truly lovely staff providing a great service and quality products.

Vickie Withington at the Solihull branch was great, knew just by looking at me which size of chair would suit me best .I tried several chairs and she was right! Nothing was too much trouble explaining things to me I'm just waiting eagerly for my chair to be delivered to me soon.

Vicki, Vicki was knowledgeable and so helpfull, we were there for ages with our aged parents, Vicki was very patient and had a lovely way with my parents. Thank you Vicki

Extremely helpful staff in the Solihull store who went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with our decisions. Our delivery from Craig and Danny was prompt, professional and polite.

HSL Solihull; first ever visit, greeted very professionally by Prabs the sales assistant. After a long time making our choice of suite, we were expertly guide through all the ins and out of our potential purchase. Spent around 2 hours and finally made our selection and purchase. Prabs extended first class expert service, very knowledgeable, polite, patient, understood the customer needs very well.
Clearly she is highly trained and perfectly suited for the the HSL business.
We even had two cups of tea and biscuits each!

Very helpful and knowledgeable, atmosphere very friendly I found the information helpful and the staff attentive.

My partner and I visited the Solihull shop on 28/04/25 and were greeted by Rachel. We had a discussion about what we were looking for. A chair for me being 6 feet tall and a sofa for my girlfriend who is 5 foot 3. Rachel then made sure that the chair I eventually purchased was the best fit for my height/ leg length etc. Following coffee and biscuits Rachel then made sure the sofa was the right fit for my girlfriend.

I am now 66 years old and can honestly say that this was by a mile the best shopping experience I have ever had. Rachel was able to get the chair delivered in a 3 day time frame as it was in stock, the sofa which is from a different range will be covered in the same material as the chair. An option we have not come across with major retailers.

From our first visit to the Shirley shop , through purchase ,picking up the old sofa and delivery has been smooth and enjoyable . The delivery today, 23/4/25 , by Carl and Lee was smashing .They were so helpful and professional and explained everything thoroughly . The sofa is beautiful .

My sister and I accompanied my father to the HSL store in Solihull to buy a riser recliner chair. The staff in the store took time to take my dad through all of the options. They were very courteous and professional and we did not feel under any pressure to purchase. The whole experience was made even more enjoyable by the complimentary tea and coffee while we were in store. A wonderful purchasing experience.

Excellent delivery service carried out today for my mom in law, led by Alexander, call to say they were on their way, nothing was too much trouble, furniture positioned exactly where required. Brilliant service all the way round, would definitely recommend this company.

From start to finish this was an excellent experience.
Everything was explained & demonstrated with no pressure.
We needed a chair quite urgently & wow did HSL come up trumps!
Ordered Saturday & delivered Tuesday by Gordon & Phil. We were notified of delivery time. It took no time to get the chair in situ & explain everything.

An excellent experience, from my visit to the showroom to the delivery this morning by Craig and Danny. They let me know when they were about half an hour away, and both were very pleasant and polite. Danny ensured I totally understood the workings of the chair before they left. I must also mention Mike in the Solihull branch who had endless patience during my visit with my daughter, and put no pressure on me to buy.
