Bought a Hubsan 501S controls wrong way round unable to rectify no reverse in main menu to be able to do this. Chatted to customer support who told me to go through Amazon for the seller. A technical question I thought Hubsan would answer save returning the product. Customer support your having a laugh.No more Hubsan for me.

Switched from DJI to Autel and Hubsan drones due to NFZ restrictions with DJI. Never buy from Hubsan if you cannot repair your drone and want any support. Hubsan does not have customer support and if you are lucky enough to get someone, they are in China and respond weeks after you contact them. Buy an Autel and save yourself headaches and time with their great support. Avoid DJI and Hubsan at all cost if you really want to fly!
ZINO Mini Pro Extreme Bundle seemed so promising...
Bought a ZINO Mini Pro Extreme Bundle 2 months ago. Impressive technology. Hands-down winner in the sub-250 gram class. IF: 1. You didn't have to calibrate the Obstacle Avoidance almost every month, 2. You could actually download the OA software to your PC, 3. The remote and phone could stay connected, so that the drone wouldn't just sit in place or go into RTH mode, 4. Picture and video transferring was smooth and seamless, like DJI, and 5. They had Customer Service that would respond, or respond with something other than weak platitudes. This drone now sits in its bag, in a corner, awaiting someone to decide they want to buy it at a greatly reduced price. Too bad. It seemed to have such great possibilities.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! I paid $699 for a drone and extreme bundle. It went up for about 2 minutes and came crashing down! I could only assume it was defective, yet the company phone number was no longer in service! Emails do not get a reply...I tried sending the entire package back and requested a refund, no reply, no refund! Tried to get my money back from my bank....my bank got a reply, claiming "I" did not go through the proper return policy...they said I was suppose to contact the manufacturer and have them say it was defective!! Funny, how could a brand new drone drop out of the sky and crash within minutes if it were not defective...it doesn't take an expert to say it ha got to be defective!! So I am out all of my money and I have nothing...not even a way to contact these scammers!!! It IS a SCAM SITE!!
Purchased the Hubsab x4 Plus
Purchased the Hubsab x4 Plus. Guess what; it did not work. And the manual was also bad, which caused me to run i circles for hours.
So my advise is to stay clear of their products all together as they have no honor invested in their product.
Bad experience
I contacted the Hubsan factory in September this year because I really wanted to buy the Drone H123d Fpv Racing and they replied that they had it in stock, but they didn't tell me that the product had been discontinued. They promised to ship the product within 3 days after payment is confirmed. So I made the payment and then it took 3 days, 15 days 30 days and they didn't send the product and despite the many emails sent to the sales department, they never responded and when they responded, it was always empty responses without definition. I had to file a dispute twice on Paypal to force them to refund me the money or send me the product asap. Finally more than 2 months later I received the product, but I realized that it won't last long, as the factory doesn't have spare parts or even propellers that are specific for this model and are no longer on the market. How can they sell something that has been discontinued without telling me?? they have terrible after-sales service because they don't care about you. Hubsan never again.

Shocking company with no customer service!
I was bought a drone as a birthday present which did not work. I spoke with support who helped troubleshoot the issue via videos and images sent in. The drone was deemed faulty. As soon as this was established I have been unable to get through to them. They will not return emails and unable to get through on the phone also tried Twitter with no response. terrible company
Worst drone company I could have…
Worst drone company I could have selected. They mailed me a defective drone that had a broken GPS and never worked. The drone would crash land and couldn’t be flown. I had a third party diagnosis to document this but I never received a refund or replacement after disputing with my credit card company. Don’t buy Hubsan please read this and don’t do what I did.

I buy 2 hubsan zino 2+ and after 10 and 8 flights they crashed due to a failure of the motherboard. Customer services in US told me to contact China and hubsan China didn't answer. That's the way hubsan treats his customers.
Awful drone from a awful company
Terrible experience with Hubsan drones.
Drone toilet bowls, battery life is rubbish and % drops so fast, drone goes out of control and crashes, don’t bother trying to get it sorted.
There customer service should be renamed “we don’t care about the many issues our customers have, so don’t bother contact us”
Save your money and look to a company that cares about its customers and sells drones that work.

Drone does not fly correctly! Forever losing connection, forever toilet bowling and crashing, range is under 50% of what they state, RTH is useless and camera is very poor, it’s an unusable product.
Agreed to send it back (at my cost) they refused to accept it, so it will now be destroyed by the courier. !!!!!
Customer service truly awful, they don’t care, and sells sub standard products not ready for the market, untested, the MANY software updates they want you to install to TRY and fix the many issues on the whole don’t work the forums advise against updating as it can render the done useless—not hard though!

wont answer phone, email useless, in April 2019 i purchased the Hubsan 501SS Pro version...for the first 10 flights i was very pleased, then i did their update...the bird became totally uncontrollable. i managed to land it without any damage, dont ask me how lol...i am an experienced RC/drone pilot. i looked it over on the bench at home i looked at the software to made sure it was the correct update a week later back out to the field. i took off or it took off not sure which but it decided to fly straight up and out of sight. the controller did display video and then it froze. luckily i own a fairly large piece of property and it decided approx. 10 or so minutes later to return to home...i had walked back to my house about 200 feet away from the takeoff spot to finish my coffee when i heard the prop sound, i was pleasantly shocked. i called Hubsan several times, emailed them at least 4-5 times...nothing. good thing i had made this purchase thru Amazon! i told them my story and without hesitation they sent me a new drone.
i have been admiring the new Zino 2+. our cousin in Greece was begging for a Zino so we did get him one, luckily hes owned the Zino for almost a year with only 8 flights and no issues. i own 22 drones. i can purchase just about any drone i like. i own 4 Holy Stone drones, now theres a shockingly great company! with the pleasant people, yes they are more a toy grade but not for much longer...their new 720E a fantastic bird. the important thing however is the support! which is something the Holy Stone people excel in. Hubsan should really pay attention. sorry for rattling on...fly safely
Drones are NOT WORTH the crappy Customer Service
Drone works as they say, but working with their customer support is a nightmare! an order i placed was shipped 2 weeks late (i had to email them for updates for a week) and it shipped missing items. it took over a month to get any kind of resolution.
these guys are mess, the DO NOT Communicate or even apologize once for their error. i'll NEVER buy from them again.
Absolutely atrocious service
My new Zino 2 fell from the sky after 11 min on its very first flight, I am experienced drone pilot, failure with the new drone. Hubsan refused to accept it was a drone issue. I had to after 3 months and 41 emails and I paid another £150 to get it back after sending to China. Appalling and discourteous customer service who are lying at every corner

Good company. Good drones for the price. But a bad service, slow or not even replying. They got some problems but what do you expect from a budget drone?
