Highly recommend

From the initial call with Jason to the fitting from Craig I have nothing but good comments to give. Jason was really helpful and friendly and answered all my questions as I don’t have much trust for trade workers.. he went above and beyond as far as I’m concerned.
Once it was all booked in the engineer Craig arrived and was an absolute legend. He worked really neatly and found solutions with no negativity at all.
I would highly recommend HUG, especially if you get Jason or Craig.. hope they are all as good as those 2.!

Boiler and radiators installation

Jason was very informative, helpful and friendly and helped us choose the right options in the boiler and heating to suit our needs.
Craig arrived promptly each morning with a friendly smile and didn’t stop working until it was time to clock off.
An extremely hard worker who was very efficient and tidy! Always a plus!

First time I have written any sort of…

First time I have written any sort of review for services provided.
We recently installed a new boiler using HUG as our supplier & installer. Jason from HUG provided a very competitive quotation only providing the items we needed without any supposed additional items others had insisted we included with their quotations. From the outset a helpful, professional & courteous experience with good communication as to the status of our order.
The installation of the boiler was completed exactly as planned. Our installer, could not have been more helpful completing the work in a professional manner leaving our home spotless after the installation. We could not have asked for better service during this whole experience.
We would highly recommend HUG to anyone considering a boiler change.

Put me in a very hard situation.

Put me in a very hard situation.

2 years ago I purchased a boiler from HUG with 5 years service added to the price. Issues with booking appointment - checked. Good luck to all that are trying - cancelled, rescheduled , no availability - that is one.
My boiler is at the loft of the house that doesn't have loft ladder and lighting, because I don't really use it and is hard to install one due to position of the hatch. When salesman came to check, he advised me that I need to have loft ladder and board around boiler and have lighting, but it wont be a big problem as long as the technicians can get to the boiler for service. We called a carpenter, who couldn't do the job due to the hatch position, but he boarded around at least and left. Chris the salesman assured me that it wont be a problem as long as I have any kind of ladder prepared before the service is due so the engineer don't lose time installing ladders, lighting etc.
And that was fine 1st year, until this year (only 2nd service ) I have issue with the boiler - it doesn't hold the pressure in the system.
Called HUG and explained what is the issue, they redirect my call to BOSCH with whom is my warranty and guess what - BOSCH Health and Safety doesn't allow engineers to go up the lofts without fixed ladder, boarding and light. Anyway before my account get banned one of the guys from BOSCH came and told me that this boiler WASN'T serviced properly ever!!!
So now, boiler is not working, not holding pressure, calling HUG, they send me to BOSCH because warranty is with them. It is just stupid circle that they put me in. That is my case, I can see many people happy with them. And I was one of them until problem occur :D
Anyway, just wanted to share, we are all good when there is no problems :) Anyway I got to go to find carpenter to give me a solution for loft ladder so I can get BOSCH to remove the ban on my account so they can sort the boiler cause it is getting cold. Cheers HUG Boilers.

Tom and Luke spent the whole day…

Tom and Luke spent the whole day removing our old boiler and installing anew one and clearly explained the controls of the wi fi thermostat. They were clean and tidy and very helpful with my questions.

Very please with the install.

After talking to Jason about having my…

After talking to Jason about having my old boiler replaced I knew that Hug was the company I would go with if the price was OK. He was thorough in finding out what was needed and what wasn't and made the time and effort to make sure the boiler was right for me and my property. The engineers that turned up worked all day making sure our installation was completed in a day , two cracking lads who talked me through what I needed to know , I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

HUG were absolutely spot on from…

HUG were absolutely spot on from initial contact to quote and install. Super quick and very professional.
Jason pulled things together quickly as we had no heating. Sam the engineer went over and above expectations. I can't recommend highly enough.

Boiler Installed, Would Reccomend

Boiler just installed. By far most reasonable price for boiler installation, compared to national and local options, with a good brand boiler. Reasonable finance option. Quite good communication from gas surveyor and subsequent gas engineer who came on day, including being able to be flexible due to me being at work . Only area I think could improve would be post installation communication.

diabolical yearly service

second year in a row this excuse has been made both times iv lost out, in june i contacted hug for my yearly boiler service, its due october, told them i could take days holiday any time they wanted in oct, we settled on 14th oct, that day came and was getting late in the day , i rang them only to be told engineer has rang in sick we need to reschedule, well well THEY CAME OUT WITH THE SAME EXCUSE LAST YEAR, i had to take extra day unpaid leave on the friday last year and im having to do it again this year UNPAID, this is a lame excuse to use 2 years in a row, its because im out the way in tyne and wear , im now finding out about a british gas service of boiler so i can get rid of these, shocking service both times iv lost out and i dont for 1 minute believe that excuse

The 2 men who installed it cleaned all the mess up and took all rubbish , I will definitely recommend hugs boilers . Thankyou

An excellent start to finish…

An excellent start to finish experience.We are in Leyland in Preston.
Everything was explained well and Jason was very helpful.
I have no hesitation in recommending Hug Boilers to anyone. I had a combi boiler installed in what was an airing cupboard.
Two hard working lads who respected our property and covered the carpets and swept up at the finish..well done..we're very happy with the new system..check them out , they came in cheaper than other quotes...👌😊

Quick and easy online order

Quick and easy boiler replacement all ordered online and a really good competitive price which included everything! Fitted a week later as I wasn’t in a major rush. My only niggle was I struggled to contact them confirm a few things that I wasn’t sure of as I got a confirmation email but no contact number or email or address but all was in hand and didn’t have to worry.

Would use again no problem

Great job!

Recently had my boiler replaced by The Hug Team in south Manchester.
Inially contacted Jason who advised on what I needed and which was the best boiler for my usage, forwarding me a quote for the work needed.
On acceptance Jason did all the arranging for the job to start and a few days later the gas engineer arrived to fit the boiler(think his name was Craig)
The job was completed in a day. Craig cleared all the mess taking it with him when he left.
An electrician came the next day to interface the electrics and show how to use the controller.
I fully recommended these guys competent , professional and friendly at a reasonable price .

Excellent service new boiler Manchester

We asked HUG boilers for a quote Jason was really informative we did a video call so he could look at the existing installation to make sure he gave us an accurate quote. There were different boilers and different finance packages available if needed. We chose an IdealPlus boiler and we were happy with the price @£1900.00 our old boiler was not working and Jason got us booked in for the next day. As promised 0800 on the dot Craig the boiler engineer turned he was great as well he went to great length to keep the house clean swapped out the boiler showed us how the use it tested everything made sure all the radiators were hot cleaned up after himself and took all the rubbish and the old boiler away. I usually hate having work done in the house and worry about the quality of the work because I’ve had bad experiences on the past. But can honestly say I was delighted HUG especially Jason & Craig.
