We are sorry to learn you were not happy with the delivery experience of your order. We have checked with the courier, which appears to show the item was delivered on the expected delivery date and we are unable to see any comments on the delivery date to advise of any issues. I can advise on checking communication from yourself to report any concern or issue, we have no email and only a call that relates to a different matter (which was resolved) before the delivery took place.
We would please request you to share your concerns with us, so we can understand the situation and why the delivery experience was not a positive one, you can do this by calling us or if easier send us an email and we were certainly investigate the matter and take up any concerns with the external courier we use.
Although, you were not happy with the delivery experience, I do very much hope you are happy with your new purchase.

Ordered a new washing machine from…
Ordered a new washing machine from Hughes.
Original delivery was done by BJH who were terrible. I’d had unpack and installation selected as part of my purchase, but BJH refused to do this stating they were too busy and even though it was on the order confirmation, it wasn’t printed on their sheet.
I called Hughes who couldn’t have been more helpful. They sent out one of their own vans and 2 guys turned up a couple of hours later and unpacked and installed, meaning they finished work late.
Top service. Although I am their customer, the poor service was via their delivery partner and they put it right the same day anyway… thank you!

The whole experience was terrible, they said they would deliver three times and we stayed in, and they delivered on the third time. Total lack of communication.

We do apologise for the negative experience you have encountered, it is certainly not the level of service we wish to provide to our customers.
We are sorry to see the item was delayed in transit with the courier and the item arrived late to the delivery depot. We can advise the courier do normally confirm the delivery date via automated text message, with a 2 hour eta time slot for delivery once the item arrives at the delivery depot. This appears to be what took place on the 4th of September, the day the item arrived at the delivery depot. However, the item did not go out for delivery, as I can see from the call you made into our service team, we made direct contact with the courier to request once the item was located to arrange delivery for the 7th of September. We are pleased to see the item delivered on the 7th of September the rearranged delivery date requested.
We are sorry for the confusion from the communication provided by the courier company and we do hope now the appliance has been delivered you are happy with your purchase and can now enjoy watching your new TV.

Hughes and the product and installation and commissioning…
Hughes were very helpful and easy to talk to.
But the delivery service provided by a third party, was not a good experience.
The manufacturer's instruction booklet was misleading and had, in my opinion, misleading and factual errors, so making my setting it up frustrating.
The product is exactly what we wanted.
But I missed the old Hughes personal service, and as I'm in my late 80's I find it harder to deal with things when they don't go smoothly, like the delivery/installation and commissioning service.
