Hugh Rice the Jewellers was established in 1971 by Hugh. His brother Mike joined him three years later as an apprentice jeweller, and the store remains to this day a family-owned and run business. We at Hugh Rice are immensely proud of our heritage, from humble beginnings as a basement workshop to a chain of thriving high street jewellery stores stocking the most recognisable and loved brands from across the world. We are specialists in diamond jewellery and luxury watches, and always deliver an outstanding level of customer care. Hugh Rice Harrogate… fantastic!
My husband and I have been customers of Hugh Rice Harrogate for a number of years now, and highly recommend them.
We initially visited the store with a watch enquiry and have since made numerous purchases.
Hugh Rice have exceptional product knowledge of all their watch brands and jewellery, and are always happy to answer any questions we have.
We are always made welcome and have never felt pressured to make a purchase which is a rarity these days.
In addition, the staff are friendly and approachable, and always offer helpful, honest advice.
It is now very hard when visiting Harrogate to not call in!

A delightful experience.
My experience in the Hugh Rice shop was delightful. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, as are the staff.
I found them knowledgeable and friendly, which made me feel at ease in surroundings that I’m not familiar with. Everything was undertaken at an easy pace and I was given plenty of opportunities to view and try different items without feeling rushed or obligated. It was an extremely pleasant experience.

I bought a lovely peice of jewellery
I bought a lovely peice of jewellery, and the delivery was very quick and secure.
The only problem would have been given the option to buy a gift bag, considering it was from Gucci or given it for free, just like Gucci does.
Other than that, everything run smoothly.
And I would definitely recommend them.
