Staffing
The university has been very poor since my first year and it seems to be going down hill. I’m not sure if it’s due to the lack of funding or the quality of staff, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore sadly.
Worst experience with university of…
Worst experience with university of hull
The university gave me an unconditional offer letter in October for January in-take, after which I paid the full fees, following all the guidelines, giving 2 interviews of CEG and then compliance interview, I passed both interviews with all correct answers.
Now close to the end point, they refused to give CAS stating the market trends does not allow us to issue CAS to Pakistani students.
Wasted my time, money and wasted my whole year as most of the university has closed the application for this term.
Shared my personal experience, avoid these types of universities.
A Warning to International Students
A Warning to International Students – My Experience with the University of Hull
I paid £4,000 as a deposit to study at the University of Hull. Unfortunately, I couldn’t enroll because my UK visa was refused. I used genuine documents, followed all procedures, and the refusal had nothing to do with fraud or illegality.
Despite this, the University refused to refund my deposit. They referred me to a vague, hard-to-find clause on their website that was never included in the offer letter, CAS, or any formal documentation. As a student who acted in good faith, I find this completely unacceptable.
Even worse, when I tried to complain, the University rejected my complaint saying I wasn't enrolled (obviously because my visa was refused). I escalated to the OIA (Office of the Independent Adjudicator), who said they couldn’t investigate because I was never officially a student.
So now:
I have no education,
No refund, and
No complaint processed — simply because I couldn’t physically enroll.
This feels like a loophole being used against international students. I followed all the steps, provided evidence, but was met with a cold and rigid system that lacks fairness and human consideration.
If you’re an international student considering the University of Hull, be warned: if your visa is refused, your deposit might be kept with no proper explanation or chance to appeal.
This is not how ethical institutions treat students. I will not stop fighting for my money, and I am raising awareness publicly so others don’t go through the same experience.
Don’t take admission in this university if you’re international student
I came to on campus in international year one they dropped me out and didn’t even let me repeat the year asked me to go back to my country and apply again that’s disgusting never choose this university
Home carer
I came from a warm and loving family of 8 in Nigerian. Am the eldest of 5 children, I grew up been a natural care giver to my siblings. I became even more passionate about taking care of children when my aunty gave birth to her first child. I was only 10 years old them, but I was fascinated by how my tiny and dedicate my cousin was and wanted nothing more than to help my aunty care for her, also care for my old age grandparents when they are sick.Have been helping family with their child care for years watching their children for as long as 2 month up to 11 years old . During this time I also have my own personal care experience of 4 children which I learnt how to handle different temperaments, feeding, changing diapereds, engaging in play, helping with home work and puting them to bed at night. I would be honored to be choosing, I believe that my experience and passion for child and adult care makes me an ideal candidate, and I look forward to the opportunity to learn from your company and become part of your worker.

PAKISTANI JUDGE DILAWAR CRUPT!!!!
The university of Hull was properly…
The university of Hull was properly informed about the attendance of a fascist judge from Pakistan, named Humayun Dilawar, attending their training program on HUMAN RIGHTS (the man's been accused of supporting a fascist regime violating human rights in Pakistan). Instead of addressing the issue on moral grounds, the university has FULLY supported the attendance of the judge and even secured his safety. For everyone willing to attend their courses, PLEASE do consider that your going to a completely BIASED institution.

Judge Hamayoun Dilawer
Organizing educational programs focused on human rights and the rule of law, while extending invitations to individuals involved in corrupt activities, displays a hypocritical stance. Following objections raised by numerous members of the Pakistani community and students through protests, it is imperative for the University of Hull to transparently clarify its stance on this matter.
