Don't use them if you have a problem…

Don't use them if you have a problem with your holiday, not what you booked, not the service you booked. Just bite your lip and don't use that holiday company again. We had all the proof of a holiday from hell.We went to ABTA then to arbitration and lost the case ! How we will never know but at the end of we had to pay our arbitration fee and Jet2 fee aswell,as we lost the case. Please save your well earned money and do not go to this arbitration. ABTA means nothing at all. If your holiday is not what you booked and was a total let down learn from it please don't waste your cash. And please save yourself from wasting your time. There's a big scam going on somewhere.

AVOID!!

AVOID!!
I used this company as I had many issues with a holiday I booked through TUI. I paid Hunt ADR fees in hope that Tui would be held accountable, but this did not happen.
They are just there to take your money, do not waste your time and after they say you don’t have a claim you have to pay for the travel agent fees £108! Plus your own.
My complaint was in regards to paying for all inclusive … the hotel shut down at 21:45pm every night!
You were only allowed to get two drinks from the bar at anyone time, we were a family of 2 adults and 5 children!
Food was horrendous
Delayed an hour, sat on tarmac for 1 hour waiting for ladders, sat at luggage claim for 4.5hrs !!
Description and stars of the hotel all incorrect!
And this company states we don’t have a claim!
This company is a joke. I’m sure in this small snippet of my holiday people would agree there was a claim there !

Stay away from this company I wish I had

Do not use them for Travel Arbitration

I wish I'd seen these reviews before I agreed to go to Travel Arbitration, part of Hunt ADR. Absolute waste of time and money and the arbitrator was obviously completely out of touch with being a customer in the care of a travel company, in this case TUI. We had a number of complaints over the holiday with TUI, the most serious of which was while being in the care of TUI being dropped off, while already running very late, at the wrong airport when coming home and having to fend for ourselves to get to the correct airport via taxi. It was a very stressful time, we almost missed our flight and this was a clear breach of their duty of care. The arbitrator's response was....... well that stressful time amounted to about 1% of the holiday and therefore de-minimis and therefore not worthy of any compensation. What planet is the arbitrator on?! It basically gives carte blanche for the holiday company to do anything they want if you just base time spent in absolute misery and stress compared to the overall holiday time when working out compensation! Avoid at all costs. In my opinion they are an absolute shambles and are completely on the side of the travel company. I repeat avoid at all costs.

Foundation in Mediation & ADR Course

This was a really interesting course. As a first contact with mediation I believe it might be really useful. I especially liked the module covering the case law for mediation!

As an independent third party, we appoint an impartial arbitrator who evaluates the evidence submitted to decide if there has been a breach of contract and what monetary award can be made if there has been a breach.

The arbitrator considers evidence provided by both parties and relevant laws and regulations. If the arbitrator decides there was no breach of contract, they cannot make a monetary award, and this is of course disappointing to those to which it applies.

We take our responsibility to provide efficient and effective arbitration services seriously and are committed to ensuring impartial evaluation in accordance with all the relevant arbitration rules, laws and regulations.

Fantastic Course Delivery For CMC Accredited Mediator

I attended an intensive 1 week course with HUNT ADR and i am glad i did. The trainers and facilitators were absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

It was nice sharing experiences and finding out how mediation can help shape some of those experiences into better perspective. This is highly recommended for anyone looking to diversify in the mediation field.

Travel Arbitration

I made contact with Hunt ADR as part of taking a travel company to stage 2 of the ABTA process.

My experience is limited to registering the case as the travel company decided to settle in full during the period where they could submit their supporting evidence for their side of the case.

Registration was easy.
Dashboard easy to use.
Email Contact was professional.

I have no complaints regarding the contact I had with this company.

I was extremely disappointed with HUNT ADR Resolution

I was extremely disappointed with the Arbitrator's Judgement on hotel booked with Lastminute.com. I can see from the judgement they are not on the side of the consumer. I wouldn't even bother going to them

Brilliant service

I knew I had received a bad service from my holiday provider and now that Travel Arbitration has found in my favour and my costs refunded I feel relieved and vindicated. I can now put that bad experience behind me. If you feel you have received poor service I would highly recommend this Travel Arbitration

We had a dispute with MSC UK.

We had a dispute with MSC UK over extra booking charges when they cancelled our cruise and we had to re-book. They admitted the cancellation was an error on their part. Despite emails and a certified letter to their CEO all our correspondence was ignored. Eventually we used the services of Hunt ADR Limited. They acted in a very professional manner and the Arbitrator awarded us not only the over-payment but also compensation. I highly recommend their services.

An Amazing Course, Highly Recommended

An excellent course in terms of content, speakers, and actual practice.
The content was explained in detail with an actual practice through mock mediations. It was fun, enjoyable, and engaging.
Gregg and his team provide a wide variety of experience and soft skills one would not expect to gain in such a course.
Would highly recommend it to anyone who seeks to be a mediator or wishes to take a role in alternative dispute resolution.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND USE THEIR SERVICES - AVOID

Hunt ADR Arbitration are a waste of time and money - all they do is repeat what ABTA does and do not help in any way. I wanted a refund on my holiday and spent more money with Hunt ADR to be told that this is not possible. Avoid them and go straight to small claims court. Oh

Thank you for your review. Travel Arbitration does not repeat the ABTA process at all. It is a dispute resolution service which results in a binding decision - similar to going to court. The decision, called an award, is published once the arbitrator has considered all the documents submitted by both parties, the law and any relevant travel regulations. Arbitration always, like court, results in one party being unsuccessful, and on this occasion the arbitrator found that you were not due any payment from the tour operator.

Invaluable skills, whatever your profession or role. A must for anyone thinking about becoming a Mediator!

Even though the course I was on was affected by some last minute cancellations, and other Covid related issues, it was a great experience. Actually, a bunch of experiences, as I was both 'learning' about being a Mediator, and 'temporarily un-learning' my counselling, legal and negotiator skills, in order to do so.

The team of Gregg, John Jarrett and Kelly Thornton, delivered an entertaining, informative, and at times, challenging, course. For me, it fused all my 35 plus years of corporate experience, my counselling and my coaching and education skills, into a focus.

Whatever your situation, I highly recommend this course, as it will teach you many things that are transferrable, even if you don't go on to practice.

Definitely 5 stars from me!
