Excessive emails sent from Rob

Excessive emails sent from Rob, all under different generic names. I am not sure how he got my email, but the volume is inappropriate, and the candidates are both not relevant to my company, nor am I the relevant person to email. LEAVE ME ALONE ROB!

Hunter Mason Consulting | Robert Trevor Hall |

Unfortunately, we did not research this company before hiring. Rob bombarded us with spam emails, around 10 a day. When we asked him to stop he still continued to email us. We interviewed 1 person, this person did not turn out well. He built up traffic fines and withdrew cash using the company card, still yet to pay back. We paid Hunter Mason for this person and Rob is supposed to find us a replacement (as stated in the T&C’s) Rob has not answered the phone or contacted us since. Do not use this company, it is a complete and utter scam.

SPAM!!

This company constantly sends me recruitment emails that I did not sign up for. I unsubscribe - but this does nothing. Just reported again to ICO.

If you want to stop spam from this…

If you want to stop spam from this company, what I did was (we were receiving 20-40 emails a day). I created a rule to quarantine all their emails so employees no longer receive them. I then checked the emails, found the email marketing service they were using, and mass-reported them with copies of the emails being sent; when they switched email marketing services, I repeated this task. Using this method, I successfully got the email marketing company being used to remove their account due to abuse of their service each time. I also reported them to our email gateway provider with proof that despite multiple attempts to unsubscribe staff from Hunter Mason's mailing list, they ignore these and continue to send emails to employees. We have not received any emails from this company in over 6 months. They are cancer, and the only way you will win against their scummy email practices is to fight back.

Spam machine

Spam machine! Despite unsubscribing via the link and via reply email numerous times, I continue to receive unsolicited marketing emails from Hunter Mason multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. They use different names, and different emails including different email domains so they're very difficult to block - although most come directly from the MD Rob Hall's email.

Incidentally I did reach out to them about a potential role to recruit for but they offer NO rebate in their Terms of Business and were not prepared to negotiate on this which is a huge red flag so I politely declined to work with them. Based on the continued spam, I would not consider working with them even if they were prepared to negotiate on terms!

I worry for the people they purport to represent.

I worry for the people they purport to represent.

I receive regular, unsolicited and unrelated spam emails from them relating to roles in a completely different industry.

If I were a job-seeker, I would consider their cavalier approach to their statutory and regulatory obligations, under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, to be a serious risk to the security of my personal data and, if appropriate, special category data.

To consider themselves a 'professional' organisation does a significant disservice to the many people employed in this very difficult theatre of operations.

Even if I were seeking to fill a role, which I'm not, or looking for a role, which I'm not, I would not trust this organisation with my personal data or that of any other persons.

Constant Spam

Receive 3 to 4 emails a day about construction site manager job roles. I do not work in this industry and have never dealt with Hunter Mason.

Even after unsubscribing from the emails and contacting them directly by phone asking to be removed from their mailing list, I still receive them.

Spam Spam Spam!

Spam Spam Spam!!

Reported to the ICO. 10+ emails from Robert Hall every day even though I've unsubscribed and never done business with this company. Reviewed on Google, though he appears to have had that taken off, and has AI Bots writing fake reviews.

This is the same Robert Trevor Hall; Disgruntled ex-employee hacked into firm’s website.

A RECRUITMENT agent wiped his former employer’s website in a fit of anger only hours after his employment ended, York magistrates heard......
Magistrates decided, after looking at computer records and listening to witnesses, including both men, that Hall had wiped the website and convicted him of computer hacking. Hall, who has since set up his own business, and lives in ..... York, was ordered to pay £1,700 prosecution costs and given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Avoid this company.

Spam factory

This company sends out around 100 spam emails each month. I'd never employ any person used their 'services'. They are the lowest of the low.

Hunter Mason Consulting | Robert Trevor Hall | Spammer | ICO | Report | Junk Mail | Criminal | Convicted Website Hacker

These guys truly excel at their game, which isn’t recruitment, it’s sending a continuous flow of junk mail which is impossible to unsubscribe from (which is illegal, as you know Robert).

The “MD” Robert Trevor Hall was previously convicted of hacking into his former employer’s website three times (Google the York press article) and he clearly hasn’t learnt anything and thinks he’s above the law. The ICO will no doubt view things very differently and I hope the penalty is severe for this continual and blatant breach of UK GDPR laws.

Keep reporting him to the ICO, leave negative reviews everywhere online, and let’s bring him and his farce of a company to its knees.

Also worth reporting all and any of the fake 5* reviews which appear online from newly registered accounts, he’s probably sat there writing them himself.
