The company seem clueless and do not care

I wanted to replace my old Husqvarna petrol strimmer with a cordless one. Tired Husqvarna first and liked the free extra battery offer. Turns out you can buy online the strimmer but STILL have to visit a dealer to hopefully get the extra one. There chat (human..ish) function and phone advisors do not seem to know what is happening and the chat would only point at a web page and refused to answer he question regarding how the scheme actually worked and what you had to do. Suspect highly unlikely, having made the trip to the retailer you would get any interest there, having bought the item online. The staff neither know nor it seemed care.

Husqvarna Lease Breach

I made the decision to go with a Husqvarna automower under a lease agreement. The advantages being that they repair if anything goes wrong (10 working days is in the contract), they annually service it and also store it for winter. I stored for winter and took it to their dealer on 24 Feb 25 for a service and, as of todays date (17 April) I still don't have it back! The agent could not get it to work and asked Husqvarna for help who came up with 3 different solutions, none of which worked so the dealer insisted Husqvarna take it and sort it or replace it - that was 2 weeks ago and nothing!
The customer service is non existent - nobody in Husqvarna takes ownership, it's impossible to talk to anyone other than agent in Slovenia who just passes messages along! Looking at the review ratings
Needless to say they are in breach of their agreement but that does not bother them!

Total waste of time. Get a Hyundai

Total waste of time.
Wanted to buy a new chainsaw but needed to know some information from their customer service department and sent a email regarding this request for the information. Got nothing. no reply whatsoever.
And thats before they got my money just imagine the customer service you wouldn't get once they have your money. Typical British service these days.
Ill get A Hyundai chain saw instead.Better reviews , they reply to reviews and a quarter of the price. Read the reviews.

Not worthy of 1 star

Not worthy of 1 star. Bought a new Husqvarna 320 rider in 2018 for c £8,000. Worst purchase I ever made. The dealer has had this back for longer than I have used it in that time. As I write this it has don 208 hrs!! Spent £1000’s in vain attempts to keep this piece of crap working. Augur has failed 3 x times, main control box housing the electrics failed and replaced, now the front transmission box has failed. Husqvarna don’t want to know!, regardless of the low hours used. On this occasion they say it’s not their responsibility as the gearboxes are manufactured by another company even though it is an integral part of their product.! Make of that what you will. Avoid like the plague. I would like to add that the dealership Sevenoaks Mowers have been as fair and honest as can be about the appalling performance of this machine and I’m sure they are as disappointed as I am.

Ever wonder why you find it hard to find an honest review of Husqvarna Automowers?

They delete any negative comments on their Facebook page. Go ahead- try it yourself!
Customer service is non existent. Contacted local dealer “the distributors don’t have the wheel motor for the 415x in stock”. The order was placed.
3 weeks later- still no sign. I contacted the distributors and I was told that it was a worldwide issue with availability of husqvarna spare parts. This has been the case for years now.
It’s now week 7, our lawn is a meadow and still no sign of the part, which the dealer tells me is a common fault.
The distributor asked me to contact customer service in Husqvarna HQ in Sweden. I did- I mean I called them and I was promptly told that hq didn’t have a customer service and to go back to my dealer again. Still waiting. 🫣.
As for the automower- a lot of things they don’t tell you. I will never buy Husqvarna again. I have several of their battery operated machines. All soft and do not last. Update- 9 weeks- automower wheel has been replaced. I’m also told the Battery is on its way out. The automower is just over 1 yr old. What an absolute piece of junk. New battery cost north of €300.

Steer clear of battery products - poor quality

Bought a top of the range pole saw and pro battery setup a few years ago, only used a couple of times a year. Battery kept charged but only ever had one full cycle never abused. Went to use a few weeks ago and battery dead, won’t charge now. Contacted dealer who said to speak to husqvarna direct as it was out of warranty, there customer services were not very helpful, had to email, they then came back with response that as it’s out of warranty they wouldn’t help. Poor response for a bit of equipment that has so little use, I used to be a big advocate of the brand but no longer, will never buy another product from them.

Looking at other reviews it seems I am not alone in issues their battery powered range seems like cheap rubbish and poor quality- know where I will be putting my money in future and it’s not husqvarna or associated brands

Stay Clear

I would not purchase anything from this company again, I returned an item back to them and requested a refund in ~April this year, still not resolved, I have made numerous phone calls to them and emails requesting the small amount of £14.99 refund. I have been passed around from one dept to another and been told lies to. They received the returned item ok yet still not refunded.

Oh when will I get my ride-on mower back!

Bought RC 318T ride-on mower new in Jan 2024. Used for 8 hours in total, then auger stopped working, though would still cut. Alerted nearest dealer for Husqvarna Ernest Doe (Slow?) Wymondham who came to collect 6 WEEKS ago and still its not fixed despite frequent calls to them. Was meant to be lent by dealer another new Husqvarna ride-on but found out today this has an oil leak so still no means of cutting my large lawns! Husq. customer service no help, never again, be aware potential buyers caveat emptor!!

Had the mis fortune of buying 3 of these robotic mowers at a grand total of 9000euro. Has been a total disaster , at this stage even the retailer is sick of it !TBF he has been doing his best to keep a brave face!and has honoured all repairs to date. just glad i didn’t trade in my tractor mower .They are a pathetic machine and extended warranty (which should be available) might help re establish confidence in the brand . now on 2nd replacement batteriey ! collision sensors ,updates etc etc i welcome contact from supplier .

husqvarna pole saw

i have a massive garden with a load of bushes and trees. so, for sometime i was researching which long pole battery saw to buy. i have stihl and these have been great. i decided to try husqvarna (another top brand). so it arrived on thursday where i charged up for friday morning. friday morning i cut back some large holy and 10 to 15 min of use i noticed that the chain shield with the chain tightener had broke of manage to find the parts after looking. basically the little wheel that tightens the saw had completely snapped of (on friday). i was asked to take to my nearest husquvarna dealer for repair, its been with them 6 days so far (took in Saturday). i mean this is a new piece of kit that should have not broken 15 min in working with it and really the repair should not take 6 days (or more, as am still waiting to hear back from the husqvarna dealer ) to tell me that the repair is complete.
UPDATE - the husqvarna dealer is now saying the turn around to repair is 3 to 4 week. OMG never going to get garden done. dont think i'll be buying this brand again

If I could leave zero stars I would

If I could leave zero stars I would. Our robot mower broke down within 3 months of purchase, we had to take to a repairer - who, after having the mower on and off for over a year admitted it was irreparable. We are still waiting for a refund. We are 4500GBP out of pocket and Husqvarna customer services are appalling.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check Trustpilot to weed out companies that don't care about their customers.

Ordered a strimmer after numerous Bosch offerings that last less than a year. Spent considerably more and went to Husqvarna.

Slavishly followed the set-up instructions and got the strimmer going for 10 minutes. Then cut out and despite 2 days of trying cannot get this thing going. So 4 times the Bosch price for 10 minutes usage.

Contacted the seller Sam Turner and Sons (a Silver distributor/dealer) for a refund. They refused but offered to pick it up and check it over. Not in during the day so they were to inform courier to check behind the unlocked side-gate. Courier has been 3 times (allegedly - they lie more than estate agents) but has failed to leave a note. Another week on and no strimmer.

Contacting VISA for a full refund as this is no different to a scam.

Very Disappointed

After spending thousands on new garden equipment 2.5 years one of my battery's went faulty this year. I know you only get 2 years warranty on batts you would expect it to last longer than that for something that cost over £100. Contacted Husqvarna to be told tuff you will have to buy a new one, not even a good will gesture of a discount on a new one. I am only a domestic customer not a commensal user.

Possible unwanted return or poor manufacturing/packaging

Ordered an Aspire LC34-P4A mower which arrived with multiple scuffs, manual loosely chucked in the box and not placed inside the cardboard box it should have been in. Product seems to be a return that has then been sold on at full price. Customer services offered 20% off another purchase but no resolution to my current issue.

Why would I want to buy another product when the first one is wrong before I’ve even used it?
