The range of colours is great and I thought the fit was great. They don’t last though. The quality is very poor and it feels expensive for the time you can actually wear them.

Cheap sunglasses

Cheap sunglasses. Not worth the buy 1 get 1 free offer, these are no way worth £50!

I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about, they have obviously never worn a decent pair of sunglasses. To say these are good quality is a joke. I wasn’t expecting Oakley quality for the price, but these aren’t even on par with cheap high street sunglasses!

I am very disappointed in the quality.

I really like these sunglasses

I really like these sunglasses. They look great and are very comfortable. I love the colours and reflective lenses. Great for festivals and places where you don’t want to take a very expensive pair.

I also had a problem with my postage (not the fault of the company), and customer service was excellent.

Good quality for cheap sunglasses

Good quality for cheap sunglasses

I don't know what the other reviews are on about as these will only ever be low budget glasses. What do you expect for £25.

Overall I have found the quality good, lens good and the non slip feature is great. I did have the the little Hygee bits fall off the side possibly due to a glue issue. They sent me another pair the next day!

Top quality customer service.

I also purchased with the case as I'm really bad for abusing them.

Very bad quality sunglasses

Very bad quality sunglasses. Don't waste your money. I saw an ad on instagram and thought I'd take a shot. They have a flashy website but these feel like cheap knock-off sunglasses. Sent mine back. Plenty of other decent sunglasses companies out there.

Bad sunglasses. Worse customer service!

Bad sunglasses. Worse customer service! The sunglasses are terribly cheap. I couldn’t believe it when I got my parcel. They honestly look and feel like cheap sunglasses you buy on holiday. I emailed to return and they made it very difficult. Not a good company that make even worse sunglasses.

Awful quality sunglasses

Awful quality sunglasses. The coating on the lens has completely peeled off in about 6 weeks. I contacted them and their response was “nothing we can do as this is due to water damage”!! The only water they’ve come into contact with is a bit of rain when I was wearing them on my head!! What’s the point of a pair of “sports” sunglasses if they can’t get a little rain on them!

You couldn’t wear these to run in.

Poor quality sunglasses. Scratched within a few days. They don’t fit as tightly as they advertise, something about “no slip” is a big lie. I couldn’t wear these to run in, they slide down my nose. Colours are nice though, but the sunglasses aren’t practical for sport and feel very cheap. Wouldn’t buy again!

Bad sunglasses, good customer service

The sunglasses were terrible and felt cheap and uncomfortable. However, the customer service was good, I sent them back and was refunded almost immediately upon receipt minus the shipping fee, which for sending and receiving probably came to around £10 (ironically, that is the price of the sunglasses I bought next).

I liked the funky colours, but will stick to what works - I have a pair of GQueen sunglasses (normally around £10-£15) that have lasted 2 years and are still going strong, despite me not taking as much care of them as I should. I went back and bought another pair of these instead.

These are cheap $2 Chinese sunglasses

I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses and showed them to a friend who works in the eyewear industry - he just laughed and showed me exactly where they came from on a website called Alibaba. He showed me the exact ones I bought for a few £ from a Chinese manufacturer. Horrendous!!!

The quality is reflective of the price they pay. These are only worth a few £, not the £50 they’re charging.

They’re paying a few pounds and selling them for £50! I think I’ll be sending them back. Much better sunglasses out there.

Okay but scratch easy

Bought 2 for 1. It’s an okay deal. They are okay sunglasses. I am constantly screwing one screw in that works it’s way loose everything I put them on and take them off.
They do stay put very well and are comfy but they scratch super easy. Had them about 6 month and need some more.
I have just bought some Sun God glasses after reading very positive reviews

Needed new sunnies since the weather got better and had seen these pop up on my Facebook! So decided to take advantage of their offer of buy one get one free! After I placed my order I realised I had entered the wrong postcode when I receive my confirmation so I emailed the customer service address and within minutes I got a reply, on a Saturday night and was told they would update the system, so I was impressed with that to begin with!! And then when my order arrived I was even more impressed, super trendy sunnies and also two headbands as a free gift. Very happy customer over here 👍🏼

Never write reviews but here I am…

Never write reviews but here I am because Hygge ruined my day with their terrible customer service and I don't want other people to buy into their branding.

I emailed them to check that I could return the glasses as they didn't suit me, they said that's fine.

Once they received them they tried to say that one pair was dirty and therefore neither could be resold or refunded (even though apparently the other pair was fine...) I asked to see any evidence of them being "dirty" (I had tried them on once and repackaged them so I knew this couldn't be the case).

They couldn't provide any evidence of this and ended up refunding the order, but they made me feel like I'd personally attacked their "small business" in the process.

There are so many better brands to buy from with arguably better sunglasses. Hygge only have one frame size which is smaller than most sunglasses and therefore only suits very small faces. The glasses generally felt very cheap and overpriced as well.

Don't waste your money.

Super happy 😃

Was worried about my recent order after
reading the reviews on here….. But wow wasn’t I surprised when it arrived!! Fast delivery, funky packaging and super flexible sunglasses. So happy I didn’t listen to the reviews and went ahead with my order.

I have tried many different pairs of sunglasses to wear for work and these are the best ones I have tried. Quite often in them for 7 hours or so each day and so far they been a fantastic purchase. I brought the Doc and Milo pairs, personally I prefer the Doc. In a job that involves lots of plenty of sweating and bending over these have never slipped off and are comfortable. I was originally worried by the negative reviews but thought to try them anyway and in my experience I haven't had any problems with the glasses and would highly recommend them

Rip off

Rubbish sunglasses - they arrived in good time and look nice but style over substance. Went for a run in then tonight in the sun and the glare from the sun meant I had to keep shielding my eyes still, aren’t sunglasses supposed to do that ! Cheap and pointless.

I really wish I had checked on here before ordering the sunglasses, they are awful, flimsy, cheap rubbish that fall off your head. Far from the no slip guarantee that their adverts claim!! And the customer service is absolutely shocking! Tried to say that I was the only person out of thousands who had this issue (clearly not true), completely gasslighting me in their emails. And to top it off no formal returns process. Honestly I'm even reluctant to return them as they would probably just claim that they got lost in the post or something. Absolute chancers! Do not order from here!!!

Poor Quality Control and Customer Service

I decided to order two pairs of sunglasses taking advantage of a 2 for 1 offer from Hygge, received my items quickly with a pair of free Hygge bands enclosed. Unfortunately after trying the sunglasses I noticed a distortion in both lenses on both pairs of sunglasses which caused blurred vision when looking through parts of the lenses.

When I spoke to customer service they said "sometimes with polarised lenses it can take a while to get used to them as they are different from normal sunglasses", but I could return them for a refund excluding postage if I wanted to. This was extremely disappointing to hear as a polarisation filter shouldn't cause blurred vision or any kind of distortion, I have had multiple pairs of polarised sunglasses from other brands without any problems. So, I filmed a view through the lenses while moving them slowly which clearly showed lines in the distance being distorted, appearing to bend. They said they couldn't see this clearly, but upon return if they found a fault I'd get a full refund. When they received the sunglasses I had a message saying they were not faulty, but they issued a refund anyway including only the outgoing postage, not my return postage.

Clearly Hygge's quality control standards are poor since both pairs of sunglasses were affected by the same problem, and their customer service was terrible as they insulted my intelligence trying to say polarised lenses can cause blurred vision, failed to identify what was clearly a fault, and thus failed to take responsibility for the return postage.

I'm now out of pocket for no good reason after receiving faulty goods, so I can honestly say I cannot recommend Hygge to anyone else and I certainly won't be buying from them again.

Bad sunglasses, worse customer service!

I bought a pair last year and used them a handful of times then stored them over winter. When I got them out last week the lens colouring has begun to peel away. I went on their website to contact customer service and noticed they're now offering Buy 1, Get 1 Free...except they've doubled their prices since last year!! So the same sunglasses I bought last year for £30 are now £60, but they're selling it as Buy 1, Get 1 Free. That seems like a very dodgy business model! Doubling the price and claiming it's an Buy 1, Get 1 offer!!!

Anyway, I contacted customer service about the poor lens quality and they blamed me for damaging them! Saying I stored them incorrectly...how can someone store sunglasses incorrectly?! I highlighted the price difference and they then said the price has always been this...even though I have an email receipt from them! Very very poor sunglasses and even worse customer service.

These sunglasses are definitely not worth the price. Even with Buy 1, Get 1 Free! I'll be checking out Sungod or Nomad Eyewear in future...

All good in my opinion 😊👍

Ordered a couple of pairs of the sunglasses through the BOGOF deal; 1 pair for my boyfriend and another for myself and I'm happy with mine (I think my partner is too!!). Was a bit concerned about the fit as I have quite a small head but they fit perfectly. Yet to try out while walking and test the slippage but I have a good feeling! Package arrived today and received 2 free headbands. Already own 4 so will be added to the collection. I tend to only use the headbands as headbands and can't fault them; brilliant for keeping hair off face and ears covered if it's a bit windy out. Yes they may be pricey but if you get them on a deal they are worth it I feel. 😊
