Tried from someone’s recommendation, highly satisfied their product quality is fantastic. Highly recommended
I recently purchased a Hygee Bike, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and build quality. The bike feels solid and durable, perfect for both city commutes and off-road trails. The powerful motor ensures smooth and effortless rides, even on steep inclines, and the battery life is more than adequate for long distances.
Was quicker than I expected I’m very pleased with the efficient service and enjoying my new product
I have very good experience it's quality is really good my all money is worth.i really glad to use this ride.
"I explained more is several times, problems with the bike sent, photo is video, there is no language barrier, one more than this that has to do. Butt to send the bike to assistance: "As you say, it's out of London," which is impossible for me, since I live in East London." "It's work! So I said, "If you pick it up, you didn't let me know anything," after "Did you say write to what app so we understand better but there was never an answer there, then I'm still waiting for an answer or a help to return the battery that apparently does not work properly, you have time to reply here apparently but not on private email sent 3 days ago to say... still waiting for an answer or to solve the problem but it's been months now
I recently upgraded from a trusty £130 folding bike (an Orus from Aldi) that had served me well for nearly three years of light commuting. My daily journey involves cycling 1 mile to the station, taking the bike on an overground train to Waterloo, and then cycling 2.5 miles to my office. With a total daily round trip of 10–15 miles, it was clear I needed an upgrade that could handle both legs of the journey comfortably and reliably.
With the Orus, I only did the first leg and locked it at the station. The gears and build quality weren’t great, so I wouldn’t trust it for the central London leg. After much research, I settled on the Hygge range, with the Black Friday deadline narrowing my options to the Virum and the Vester. Initially, I was tempted by the Soro, but at 33kg and with a non-detachable battery, it didn’t fit my practical needs of portability and charging at my office desk.
The Vester seemed like a good compromise, offering fat tires for navigating central London’s bumps and potholes, plus front suspension for added comfort. However, after taking delivery of the Vester and putting it to a real-world test, I found that the 28kg weight made it less suited to my specific commute, especially when lifting it on and off trains. I decided to request an exchange for the Virum, which is better aligned with my needs.
In an ideal world, I’d have both bikes and use them for their specific strengths. The Vester would be great for longer rides or rougher terrain, while the Virum is perfect for a light, portable daily commute.
This is where Hygge Bikes truly shone. Sam and Burhan were absolutely fantastic throughout the process—helpful, understanding, and an absolute credit to the company. They made what could have been a stressful exchange process seamless and were incredibly professional from start to finish.
A key takeaway from my experience: if you’re considering an eBike, try to book a test drive before committing. Unlike a pair of jeans, these bikes are big, bulky packages that take considerable effort to repack and return. A test drive could save you the hassle of a return and help you ensure the bike fits your needs from the outset.
Overall, Hygge Bikes has been outstanding, and I couldn’t be happier with my Virum. The bike perfectly suits my commute, and I’m looking forward to many miles of smooth, stress-free cycling. Huge thanks to Sam, Burhan and the rest of the team for making this a great experience!
Very impressed! A great folding electric bike that doesn't make a "larger gentleman" like me look like I've nicked a toddlers ride that also gives me decent range without weighing as much as a black hole.... Surprisingly good power as well as excellent suspension feel compared to my old non electric full suspension MTB. I got one for each of me and my better half and as they store easily they're going to be well used away in our campervan trips...
We arranged test rides of folding electric bikes made by ADO and Estarli - the ADO developed a fault and despite arranging a test ride of Estarli bikes at their factory in Berkhamsted when we arrived one of the models wasn't available and the other had a flat battery-we were not impressed! We then
tried the Hygge bikes. Hygge could not have been more helpful -Sam Purnell brought two different models for us to test ride at a bike shop near where we live - he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We decided on the Virum folding bike which is lightweight but with an excellent component specification (brakes, gears lights etc.).
We ordered one bike and after it arrived we were so impressed with the range and quality we ordered another so both my wife and I now have one. Hamza was very helpful when we had a query post delivery. Highly recommended company and product.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you! It is easy to works when everything goes smooth, but real life is another and how we can manage the unexpected mistakes says how we professional are! My order was missed I got wrong order and after contacting the store they quickly solved the issue and even they should give me more expensive bike they did it and I am happy! Happy to say thank you!
Amazing service from Sam 😃
Great knowledge on the products and such a lovely person, good to meet a fellow avid adventurer, range of bikes is amazing. Thankyou
With so many options out there, I spent a long time trying to decide which e-bike to buy. After a lot of research, I eventually decided on the Hygge Virum.
Right from my initial enquiry, the service was excellent. All of my queries prior to the purchase were answered quickly, and the same was true throughout the delivery process. It’s great to deal with a company with such efficient communication, especially these days.
I’ve now had the e-bike for a few weeks, and couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve really put it through its paces in all weathers, and it hasn’t let me down. It’s quick and easy to fold and unfold; light to wheel along or carry; going up hills feels effortless; and the battery seems to last ages between charges.
In addition, all of the accessories that I got with the bike are also very good quality.
All in all, great service and great product.
I bought a Virum folder for campervan trips and to cut down on the number of car journeys around town. I'm really impressed with it so far. It seems really well thought through, looks good and everything works as it should. Delivery was a little bit delayed but still quick by most standards and the customer service team kept me in the loop so it was no problem. The bike arrived fully assembled apart from the pedals (easy for anyone to install), and was correctly setup so was straight on the road after a charge. I will swap out the saddle and the tyres look a bit cheap but at the price I paid I think it's outstanding value for money.
Bike is great, good price, and excellent standard equipment. Courier service (DP), not so, would have been a lot better if i had known they only deliver on one day a week in my area, it would have saved a lot of waiting in. Hygge support was just Ok and the lack of handbook (just videos) again left a bit to be desired, but the quality of the product made up for that.
I initially contacted the company about how they interacted with my companies cycle to work scheme provider. From that moment on they were prompt and helpful with all my enquires and within a week everything was sorted and I had received my bike. The bike itself is even better than expected and I can't thank Hygge enough for getting this old man peddling again
Good price. Well packaged. Delivered on time. The bike Is sturdy, looks great and is easy to assemble. Looking forward to the better weather but initial ride all good and good fun.
My best purchase in a long time. Your bike has a unique look that attracts attention, is easy to use, very comfortable to ride. Nothing but set an example and avoid cars, great purchase, I am very happy
The whole process form ordering and receiving my Vester bicycle from HYGGE was effortless. The team maintained contact with me and promptly responded to my email queries. The eBike when delivered was of the quality promised and described and I couldn't be more happy.
The company is in the EU. There are very helpful. The product is 5* and legal. I have so much fun and get everything done faster with a smile with the knowledge that if I have a problem I'll get support and parts.
