Toxic Leadership and Micromanagement – Not a Healthy Work Environment
My experience at Hypernym was extremely disappointing. I joined with high hopes, but quickly found myself in a toxic and demoralizing work culture. The CEO and directors frequently engaged in bullying behavior, which created an atmosphere of fear rather than collaboration. Micromanagement was excessive to the point where it felt impossible to do meaningful work without constant interference or unwarranted criticism.
People in Authority Like Omer Salam, would use foul and abusive language and make unimaginable threats!
narcissistic behaviour from many senior managers.
Constructive feedback was rare—criticism was often personal and delivered in a way that felt demeaning rather than developmental. There was no genuine effort to support employee growth or mental well-being, and concerns raised were routinely ignored or dismissed.
I strongly advise anyone considering a position here to proceed with caution and thoroughly research the company culture before making a decision. No job is worth sacrificing your self-respect and peace of mind.
