Hypnoria Charges Without Confirmation

This site funnelled me into giving my credit card information in order to receive the results of an online quiz they offered. Before letting me confirm that I wanted the services offered, I was charged even though there was a box that assured me that I would not be charged.

When I realized that I'd been charged, I contacted the company for a refund based on 1) never committing to purchasing their service and 2) never receiving or using their service.

My communication was completely ignored. My husband and I have had to repeatedly challenge the charges. They simply will not stop charging us. I tried reporting them to the Better Business Bureau but this company has no physical address available anywhere. Without an address, you can't report them. Companies that sell online services-- somewhere in the tiny fine print on their websites or at the bottom of their emails-- will list an address. Not Hypnoria. It appears they want their company to be unfindable.

At this point, my husband and I are just waiting for our credit card to be replaced with a new card and a new number (in 3 years!). Until then, we appear to be locked into a process of constantly challenging Hypnoria's charges.

Terrible experience

I’ve reached out to this company numerous times to find out what the charge is for and who they are. They have not replied to numerous emails and calls

Scam

Scam. They won't let you cancel your subscription. As others have pointed out, it pauses after a minute or so, it's really glitchy. to cancel, you have to request an email with a code to access the customer portal. Email never comes. Write to customer service, you probably won't hear back. I finally wrote a boatload of bad reviews as comments on their facebook ads, and WOW, they responded! I tried to cancel for months and they kept on charging me. put a stop payment through the bank. What a hassle, headache, and a very bad company.

Would not suggest. Audio glitches ruin effectiveness.

Just bought the six month program last week and while I like the guided meditation type sessions, I was expecting more from it. I thought there would be more hypnosis to it, but it really just seems like meditation. The first session was nice, but the next three I've done have had audio glitches that are very jarring and remove me completely from the relaxed state I was in. I don't see how this will be successful at all with these glitches. And all the program seems to be is 40 audio files loaded to a website. No coaching or advice or resources. No personalization. I'm going to listen to the files as much as I can and then cancel. I won't go so far as to call it a scam, but it definitely is not the in-depth program as they lead you to believe. I would not suggest it to anyone.
